가족사이 이야기 / 소책자 (2016)

대개 십수년이 지나도 변하지 않는 가족사진 뒤에 달라지고 있는 가족사이 이야기를 첨부한 식이다. 이야기 속에 등장 하는 가족모습을 표지로 그리고 가족사진으로 그렸다. 책 커버는 탁상용 액자로 이용할 수 있도록 디자인했다.

“Family Relationship” presents a picture of family in troubles unlike a normal family picture. It tests emotional status between family members through the 20 questions and shows the picture as a result. Family could find out How far we are or how close we are.

“가족사이”는 화목한 가족사진 대신 가족사이에 있는 문제의 모습을 보여준다. 설문조사를 통해 가족간의 심리적인;신뢰도, 관심도, 커뮤니케이션정도, 스트레스정도, 태도, 친밀도 상태를 알아내고 캐릭터 일러스트와 상징으로 결과를 보여주는 웹서비스이다.

In the room of the lover, I could find there are several different types of hair on the floor from another ones including mine and the lover. It comes to my mind ‘If I’m not here anymore, My hairs would keep left here’

But the one is obsessed with cleaning house, even hiding all electric wire. I’m wondering how the one clean my hairs hidden and found soon. I create the story hoping my hairs non-stop coming out as like I could keep seeing another one’s in the room.

사랑하는 사람의 집에는 내 머리카락, 그 사람의 머리카락 외에도 여러 사람의 머리카락이 있었다. ���더이상 이 집에 오지 않아도 내 머리카락은 여전히 남겠지?’

전선이 지저분해 보인다며, 모든 전선을 숨겨버릴 정도로 깔끔한 그 사람이, 내가 떠난 후에 내 머리카락을 어떻게 청소할까. 아무리 청소해도 지금 다른 사람의 머리카락이 보이는 것처럼. 내 머리카락도 끝없이 나오길 바라는 마음을 담아 이야기를 만들었다.

Club. dating app. One-day love. It was easy and full filled with love. But it changed awkward, when we met twice. This feeling has repeated again and again. Now I start to worry that I can’t make serious and sustainable relationship with people. 

I have my mind to stop meeting new-one and have a time to hear experience of my friends, who would have similar experience with me. How can I build a stable relationship? And I decide to send a letter to confess about the deficient mind and caring in relationship to people around me.

클럽. 즉석만남. 데이팅어플. 하루연애, 쉽고 가볍고 사랑은 넘쳤다. 하지만 두 번째 만나는 날이 되면 어렵고 불편한 기분이 들었다. 경험이 반복됐다. 이제는 누구와도 오랜 관계를 맺을 수 없을거라는 걱정을 하기 시작했다.

나는 새로운 만남을 잠시 멈추고, 비슷한 경험을 가지고 있는 친구들을 만나 그들의 방법을 묻기로 한다. “사람들이랑 어떻게 잘 지낼 수 있니?” 그리고 관계 속에 부족했던 마음씀에 대해서 미안함을 전하는 편지를 쓰기로 한다.
