a/n: been thinking about writing since yesterday and i finally did it TT sorry for not writing a pt.2 of nikis fic its coming soon!!

You weren’t even mad about the song. Not really. It was everything else. The way he barely looked at you before the show. The way he brushed off your “Hey you forgot lunch again,” with a distracted, “I’ll eat later.” The way you were slowly starting to feel like a checkpoint - something he passed by, not paused for.

So yeah, when you finally snapped and called him out, your voice had a little more edge than it needed. And when he said, “I’m not singing that song tonight,” you didn’t ask him to change his mind. You just blinked at him, said, “Cool, be like that hee.” and walked off.

Now you were backstage, arms crossed, trying not to chew your lip bloody. The show was loud, the crowd was louder, and Heeseung he was electric as always. He moved like he owned the stage, because he kind of did. But you knew him. Really knew him. And even from back here, tucked in the dark, you could see it: the tiny crack in his smile, the way his gaze kept dropping between songs, the way his voice sounded just a little too clean, too careful. He was pissed. So were you. But still — you kind of missed him. Even while he was right there, in front of thousands of people.

You started zoning out by the end. Everything blurred into noise and sweat and flashing lights. The set was almost over. Until the screens went black. The band cleared. He didn’t leave the stage.

He just stood there, hand resting on the mic, as the crowd erupted again.

He waited.

And then, in the pause between cheers, he said it - voice low, raw in that way only you would hear for what it was.

“There’s someone I didn’t want to sing this for tonight. But I’m going to. Anyway.

You froze.

A few fans squealed like they knew But you did know. Really know. He didn’t look out at the crowd. He looked straight past the lights, past the wings, dead into backstage. Dead at you.

And then the guitar started.

That song.

Your song.

The one he wrote with your old hoodie in his lap, playing voice notes you didn’t know he saved. The one he always sang at the end of the show, eyes shut, like it was a secret only the two oof you shared. The one he swore he wouldn’t sing tonight. But heee he was.

And his voice hit the first line, not perfectly, but honestly tight, like his throat was holding more than just lyrics.

You bit your tongue, hard. You didn’t want to cry. Not here, not while crew moved around behind you and one of the backup dancers cracked a joke five feet away. But then he looked at you again. Just for a second. Just enough

And something in your chest cracked.

He still sang it.

Even after what you said.

Even after you walked away.

And when the last chorus came, it hit like a soft punch to the ribs:

He didn’t smile when it ended. Didn’t bow. Just stepped back, let the silence hang, hands limp at his sides — and stayed there a second too long.

Maybe later, when the lights are down and the cameras are off and the makeup’s wiped clean, you’ll walk up to him. Let your pride fall somewhere quiet.

if you have a moment, please consider giving some attention to my friend Nader ( @nader202-3 )'s campaign. besides himself, he is providing for his wife, Sally ( @sally2033 ), and their three young children, Laila, Nour, and Ahmed, as well as his parents and siblings. Nader's father was injured in the airstrike that destroyed the family's home; due to the lack of available medical care, he continues to struggle with long-term complications. this bombing also killed several of the Gibril family's relatives, including Nader's aunt, uncle, and cousin with his whole family.

now, their situation has gotten even more dire. earlier this month, Nader attempted to get food for the family at one of the israeli/US-run GHF aid distribution sites. as you've likely heard, these facilities have been used as cover to deliberately kill and injure people who come seeking desperately needed food. over 240 humanitarian organizations have called for the GHF to cease operations, and according to the UN, over 1,000 people have been killed while seeking aid. thankfully, Nader was not among them—but he was shot in the back and is now recovering from this serious injury without the benefits of easily accessible medicines, nutritious food, or even a safe and quiet place to rest.

Nader and Sally's children are all under ten years old. they are acutely vulnerable to starvation and the long-term consequences of malnutrition. if the Gibril family's campaign doesn't raise sufficient funds to buy food (which can be over $200 USD per day), Sally or one of the other adults in the family will have to risk their life seeking aid from the GHF. this is not tenable. they should not have to choose between being shot and watching their beloved children fade away from starvation.

your donations and engagement with Nader and Sally's campaign mean that Nader can recover without having to worry for his family, that Sally won't have to risk death or injury to feed their children, and that Laila, Nour, and Ahmed can survive and stay healthy. even just sharing their posts, following one or both of their blogs, or dropping a kind word is a reminder that they are not facing this terrible situation alone. whatever you can do to help is valuable.

okwonyo, Jiah, has been a long time writer and was recently exposed for PLAGIARISING anime writer, @kenntoria . Jiah claimed that it was just “inspiration” but original author, kenntoria (aka TORI) provided evidence of jiah straight up plagiarising her work. (CLICK HERE FOR EVIDENCE)

jiah‘s original response mentioned that she was “inspired” (even though it was MULTIPLE fics, word for damn word 😹) and basically watered down the situation, claiming she’s taking a hiatus instead.

in previous situations, whenever a minor interacted with a nsfw blog, jiah, you were one of the first people to call them out, make it a big deal. going as far as to sever friendships just because of that. (i get it, everyone has boundaries!) but jiah, the writer you’ve plagiarised from, tori, is ALSO a NSFW account as well. meaning that you’ve read through her work, deciding which one to steal or what-not and still have the nerve to call out anyone else for plagiarism AND call out minor’s involvement with nsfw (i do not condone this, i just find it hypocritical).
