Allie had never dreamt of skinning a cat before, nor had she attempted, but she had done enough things out of character so far today. Might as well add at least one more to that list.

"So, in other words, you have no useful advice beyond there lies a man-eating beast towards the north." Allie lets out a deep sigh, one that leaves her lungs burning for air. Although, she's quite certain this personal hell of tormented curiosities wouldn't allow her to stop breathing.

Her arms fold across her chest, "Yes, I fell through a rabbit hole. I originally came from a place called Tillydrone. Does that mean anything of importance to you?"

that's what they were looking for.

"the precipice between the tulgey woods and forest of wabe. would recommend not heading.. that way." the cat stands upon hind legs and leans against the tree as it points north. "unless you'd like to become the beast's next snack-- home? that could be anywhere. i assume you mean your feeble lands, of which; i suppose that's up to you. i'm guessing you're of the rabbit hole variety-- not too many looking glasses have slipped back into these lands from their ruins."

The eeriely familiar voice was slow to respond, "I wish I could answer that with any real certainty." She hesitates after, before moving out a hand.

"I'm Adelais Liddel." She then adds, with a quick shrug, "But for time's sake, most people refer to me as 'Allie'."

Her hands twitch before finding the edge of her dress, twisting the fabric, "According to Alice, I'm...her, but from a different timeline?" Her voice displays her uncertainity. "It's all quite confusing, but the tail-end of it is that I'm currently under her guidence until I can get home."

it should have been pretty obvious, in retrospect, that who he was looking at wasn't who he'd thought it was. there were some key differences between them, he supposed, though he couldn't quite point them all out. his mind was working at half-capacity right now. he was a mix between tired and utterly exhausted { something that was pretty frequent with him }, having been working for well over 12+ hours. it really hadn't stopped him from doing a double take when he first saw her. 『 ❝ clearly... I must've made a mistake... ❞ 』 the words were murmured more to himself than the blonde before him, 『 ❝ so who exactly are you then? ❞ 』

I want more threads of “oh shit I thought you were Alice” and Allie having to explain that no she’s just basically in Alice’s life rn as the other blonde dragged her here since they can’t get Allie home yet

the biggest differences physically between allie and alice:

Allie is not physically strong and has no formal training with a blade

Alice has slightly bigger, more rounded eyes, but not by much

Allie has no scars. None. Not even a single mark on her fingers from sewing

Allie still has the enjoyment of life in her face

Allie's eyes are slightly lighter in color, although you'd have to really stare to see the difference (For help, here's the html colors! Alice: #000DFF and Allie: #444dfc)

The easiest and fastest way to tell them apart is going to be their hair! Alice has curtain bangs, Allie has side bangs. Allie has hair over both her shoulders, Alice prefers to keep her right side clear of any obstruction for her sword.
