i have still not heard back from the vetting team about my friend, however i have no desire to bother them as they are going through plenty themselves. i've compiled a mountain of information here for you to view the legitimacy of my friends campaign. you can also view their original vetting at #86 on the gazavetters list. my friend in gaza is still in a desperate situation. on july 20th toha told me she was feeding her kids a handful of raw chickpeas and that is what sufficed them for days. this weekend i was finally able to get money to them through a cryptowallet and they ate bread for the first time in weeks.

the israeli army murdered my friend, her husband mohammed al shawish. life in gaza without a man is terrifying beyond means and she lives in constant fear. going out for aid as a woman is not an option. women send their husbands, and their husbands are often killed trying to get a measly bag of rice for their families. you can read the story mohammed told of his family here. i also made a post here detailing what i know. their initial campaign raised thousands of dollars that they were scammed out of by an evil person pretending to help. i've been able to raise about ~$400 usd for them but unfortunately this does not last long. the costs to survive in gaza are astronomically high. there's honestly not much else to be said. my friend and her kids are hungry and in danger like every other family in gaza. it's unfair. if you have anything to give, please consider doing so. every dollar helps.

pushing your ideals unto your grown up kids (some of whom already have *multiple* kids of their own) and straight up forbidding them from doing things that are not even related to you is incomprehensible to me. i know most if not all parents of that generation do it but this "i know better what you (the person i talk to maybe once every three months not even necessarily because i want to but because it's my parental duty) want" attitude is still crazy to me.

hello all :3 myself and my friend dante (@kyeomic) have befriended families in gaza that mean quite a lot to us. our friends are struggling, my friend is a widow with four young children and dante's friends have two little ones as well. to be blunt, our friends are starving to death. there is very little food available in the entirety of the gaza strip and what there is left to buy is very expensive. one kilo of flour costs $40 usd and does nothing to feed a family of any size. my friend has resorted to feeding her kids dry chickpeas. these are mothers who run the risk of their children dying, who have no access to aid because their husbands have been killed or will be killed if they send them to seek american aid out. these are real families, in real need.

in hopes of helping our friends, i have just placed an order for all kinds of new keychain designs through my manufacturer. i am expecting them in the next 3 weeks and they are currently available through my ko-fi for preorder; they will be shipped as soon as they are in hand. every dime of profit will be split between these two families, and you have the opportunity to acquire some cute merch while also helping struggling people to put food in their bellies <3 i am based within the united states but i do ship internationally!
