WOMEN OF RESIDENT EVIL ZINE APPLICATIONS: OPEN!!!

Hello Resident Evil fans, the applications for the Women of Resident Evil Zine (aka WoREZ) are now open! This zine is a 16+, beginner friendly, free, digital only zine focusing on the female characters and sapphic relationships in the Resident Evil series. The applications will be running until March 5th and we're shooting for a mid-late June release date depending on the size of the zine and the amount of applicants we get. We're looking for Page Artists, Digital Merch Artists, Writers, and anyone else who has something they'd like to contribute to the project! -> applications <- FAQ&RULES MOD INFO Feel free to send an Ask or DM to the blog if you have any further questions!

Heya! Hope you guys are doing good. I'm currently filling the application for the zine and I gotta ask, what does "pitch hitter" mean? (English is not my first language so, sorry if it is a silly question) Anyway, thanks for organizing the zine and I'm looking forward to it

It’s not silly at all! A pitch hitter is basically just someone to contact as a backup in case someone needs to drop out, anyone who applies to be a pitch hitter may be contacted to fill in a position if we have a drop out, or contacted to possibly provide another piece for the zine (again in the case of a drop out)

hey there!!! would love to send an application to do some artwork for it <3 however im a little worried about not being able to meet deadlines and such (full time job + uni stuff) so im still thinking about it (^ ^*)

though i wanted to ask smth first: is only ship art allowed??? or can it be single character art too??

Deadlines can be worked around, things are very loose considering we don’t quite have an estimate of how many people will be involved, both mods also have jobs+other obligations so if there’s something you might need adjusted I’m sure we could come up with something. (The time between the deadline and application acceptance is also going to be around 3 months so quite a bit of time)

Also we’ll be featuring both single character art and ship art! I’m hoping to have a good mix of both :)
