out of curiosity, how can you be so anti-jschlur, but still actively support his friends? i'm saying this is a person who hates him AND the people that associate with him.

yeah i actually dont . rlly. anymore. i had to delete the post i made abt it bc swear words illegal on CS but i might go delete all my mcyt art LOL ... kinda sucks bc i love mc and stuff but :/ really uncomfortable and i cant go anywhere w/o seeing jschlur.. i actually have another ask in the inbox rn thats probably abt that and its SO FUNNY i want so badly to post it but its full of swears :pensive:

your post just shows nobody's got a spine when it comes to the green guy. he probably doesn't want to think its that deep, and yeah, hes free to flirt with his friends if he wants to but this is a public platform and hes not perfect. lets not pretend it is. i dont think he means any harm but well meant criticism is not a crime

god yeah its. honestly kind of pathetic..? idrk WHAT got him in trouble this time cause i literally do not care but apparently he was like “i get cancelled for everything :((” king maybe check urself. hes obvi not like violently homophobic or anything but hes like one step away from pulling the “im not homophobic i have gay friends” card and. ik the fandom will let him do it if he does ! they LITERALLY will just defend him without thought and its pissing me off. 

i think ppl r getting more focused on the actual words he used. no hes not “queerbaiting” bc as someone pointed out thats more for .. corporations genuinely baiting and then its bury your gays or smth. but he absolutely knows that anything considered a “dream and george gay moment” gets him more views, gets him more clout, gets twitter up in arms. he knows itll make everyone draw more fanart and write new fics, which yes, DOES help him. it gets him more attention. and he knows the stans will defend him against the scawy mean twitter people who are just mlm people tired of him doing this. i dont think the weekly twitter drama about him being homophobic will come close to even making a dent in his reputation and if he apologized and stopped he would stop getting all those extra thousand or so views bc of a “gay moment” and that just isnt worth it for him. its just rlly annoying cause ik most fans of mcyt are younger and i really dont want to see hordes of smiley face 12 year olds being homophobic just cause mr wastaken did it first.

hey just saying yall cant just let dream off the hook every time he gets called out for smth ..? im seeing ppl who are ignoring his tweet bc “omg is someone lgbt in the dream team?!!?” dude. think for a second. yall genuinely do not see a problem with a bunch of straight men [or men who are saying they are straight, which yes, gives them “privilege” as tacky as that sounds in a rant] constantly insulting - yes, insulting - each other and using gay jokes. as an mlm person that REALLY hurts. you will lay down your life to defend him thoughtlessly and its annoying as hell. im not saying hes homophobic or toxic, i dont think he is, but if you all just immediately forgive him hes going to keep doing this. he is human. stop idolizing him because youll only disappoint yourself. you DO NOT know what kind of person he is and its clear yall project on him and thats why you defend him.

its FINE to like his content and if you support him and believe him, good for you. but stop immediately jumping to his defense and think about it. if one of your non mlm friends kept doing that, would you be okay with it? if two cishet guys at your school were doing that, would you be okay with it? probably not. dream is no different. he is a person. let him make a mistake.
