Drew Shrike and Beebs as Lackadaisy characters! I need to quit procrastinating posting on here.

Beebs looks a little bit off to me, but he went through like fifteen worse iterations before this — I'll live.

While he probably doesn't always need that crutch, it's good to have as extra support. The prosthetic legs are old, wooden, and probably pretty likely to buckle in on him when standing in place — the crutch is just to prevent that. Shrike helps, too, sometimes. As long as he won't get squashed, bug-style.

Metal prosthetics existed, far sturdier, but likely a lot more expensive for that reason.

Prosthetic arms were a thing, too, but not often worn for long periods of time on account of being extremely uncomfortable — hence why I didn't depict Beebs with a prosthetic arm.

Shrike, just like in the show, isn't an active officer, but he still kept the outfit because why not.

I could probably keep dumping info, but I don't want this post to be too long — I can probably add more in separate posts if requested.

I did a bunch of research for this, but there was a surprising lack of information about prosthetics of the 1920's. I did my best :)

Hey! Thanks, it was pretty hard preparing for those roles, took a lot of practice.

Lately, I've been trying to explore, but that's pretty hard when you're already everywhere all at once.

Some kid tried to eat me the other day, then he got sick. Then...he tried again. It was kind of disturbing, but hey, what can a guy do, am I right?

Speaking of, someone took my butt earlier. Not sure who, but if you wouldn't mind checking the bottom of your shoes, I'd appreciate it. Maybe dust them off outside— y'know, just in case. Maybe ask friends to do that, too.
