After taking care of his injuries, Sirius helped Moony get changed and led him to rest on their bed. It was heartbreaking how sore and in pain Remus was. Sirius wished he could take all the pain away from him. For now, he just wanted Moony to get some sleep, he seemed so so weak. But as Sirius gently placed his hand on Moony’s back, he felt a strong pull and then he was tangled in Remus’s arms squeezing him with force shocking for someone who’d just been through a full moon transformation.

“Thank you Pads” Remus whispered against his chest. And Sirius realized that even though no one had ever cared for him this way before he ran away from home, taking care of Remus was the most natural thing he could imagine at that moment.

Wolfstar Comfort Fest (@wlstcomfortfest) promp “Late night phone call” as my today’s inktober post

When the marauders went to visit their respective families, sometimes SOME of them got impatient and that’s when muggle phones came in handy. It’s always great to be able to chat with your best friends, you know.

(One or two more pieces like this and I’m coming back to colors;) though I think I’m gonna miss this. If I ever have loads of time, I’d like to keep practicing more inky drawings but that seems like an unlikely scenario;))

Wolfstar Micro Fic - @wlstcomfortfest prompt: Sirius' Birthday - @wolfstarmicrofic prompt: Forbidden Forest - 436 words

Padfoot trots happily through the forest - weaving around trees, jumping nimbly over fallen branches, digging through undergrowth.  Remus watches him fondly, trailing behind as Padfoot leads the charge.

Remus doesn’t know the forest well, but his intuition is good - the wolf’s instincts bleed through from his subconscious, knowing which paths are good or bad or lead to where he needs to go. Sirius meanwhile, knows it like the back of his hand (or rather his paw.) He’s spent hours exploring, chasing in Moony’s footsteps every full moon for the past two years. It’s something Remus doesn’t normally get to appreciate. Padfoot in his element. Unbound freedom to follow every intriguing scent, to explore and run wild to his heart's content.

It’s not exactly a typical birthday celebration, but it’s a momentary escape from the pressure of their final year. And besides, James is planning a party for Friday and the rest of the weekend is earmarked for a proper Hogsmeade date.

A few feet ahead, Padfoot jumps onto the trunk of a large fallen tree. He stands like a waiting centurion, gives an encouraging yap for Remus to hurry up. The setting sun breaks through the canopy above, the forest floor dappled in golden light. It catches Padfoot’s fur, shining and glistening in the glow of the late autumn afternoon.

In the blink of an eye, Sirius stands before him, arms outstretched and welcoming. Remus reaches out to catch Sirius’ hands in his, letting Sirius tug him forward until he’s close enough that Sirius can wrap his arms around Remus’ shoulders.  He’s still standing on the log, giving him an uncommon height advantage. Remus rests his chin on Sirius’ chest, looks up at Sirius’ dopey grin.

“You know,” Sirius says quietly, playing with the hair at the nape of Remus’ neck, “Most people go to the astronomy tower when they want to be romantic.” 

Remus turns his head slightly, presses a kiss into Sirius’ forearm. “You’re not most people.”

There’s a wire-wrapped pendant in Remus’ pocket. Sirius watches with curiousity as Remus pulls it out, steps down when he’s coaxed so Remus can fasten it around his neck. The orange topaz catches in the light, giving it a glowing effect. 

Sirius cradles it in the palm of his hand. “It’s beautiful,” he murmurs, eyes sparkling in awe as he glances back up to Remus.

Remus tucks a strand of loose hair behind Sirius’ ear, brings his face close enough so their noses’ brush. “Happy Birthday,” he murmurs quietly into Sirius’ lips. He can feel Sirius’ radiant smile when he closes the distance and catches his lips.

Welcome to my chaotic inktober again, I’ve taken a cute prompt of a lazy morning of @wlstcomfortfest (which could also be bed sharing but I might jump in additionally with that one later, cause I had a different idea for it)

Currently still on Language Lessons (it’s rated as explicit so 🔞, check the tags if you give it a try) and “ten reasons (to go to Michigan)”, so for background reading, I’d recommend one of those ❤️ (crying might be involved if you easily get heartbroken like me)

Back with my inktober attempts, prompt 5 of Wolfstar Comfort Fest (@wlstcomfortfest), first date!

I mean, official first date ;) who knows what they’d done before;)

I imagine they would do sth quiet and cosy (they had been to many parties and concerts together so sth else for a change), enjoying the first outing as an official couple, so here they are, hanging out in the park, enjoying some time alone, maybe having grabbed some warm drink before (see, the cups are standing somewhere on the ground by the bench, they are just outside the frame 😅, I think I might do it in color later and get those cups too)
