America’s Medical System SUCKS

I’m Anorexic and I can’t go to residential treatment because my insurance company refused to cover it, and refused to make some kind of compromise with us. They just said no and shood us away.

They also won’t let me get any other kind of treatment because everything else is either to far, or they won’t cover it because I was recommended for residential treatment and not anything else. There was an outpatient program very close to me but they wouldn’t let me go because I wasn’t reccomended for it.

Just because this doesn’t piss me off enough that I can’t get any kind of recovery, they actually told me I was approved for the residential program at first. My mom cancelled all my appointments for the next month and I we went shopping for it. The place I was going to also started to prepare for me to come. Later we got a call saying that we couldn’t actually do it.

Turns out I was medically cleared so someone was like oh ok I’m gonna go tell them they are all good now. Then they got the price for residential and said that we couldn’t do it.

So now I don’t get any help. Ugh.
