We still have six cards available.

First preference will go to @astershowers, @wentzanity and @beebowentz, if their cards do not arrive tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning, we will be leaving at around 9am. There is a small chance the post will arrive before we do. If that’s the case, we’ll let the senders know.

We do have some spare cards. If yours hasn’t arrived or you couldn’t take part directly, message us. We’ll show you your options from the cards available (I bought two more today, so we’ve got a couple extra) and we’ll fill in your message for you.

Cards not received

Hi all, tomorrow is the last day for cards to arrive before we set off for Scotland, so I wanted to give a quick round up of the cards we didn’t receive:

There are a few who we think might still sneak under the wire:

I’ll update those users if they arrive by the time we leave on Friday.

We do have some back-up cards and those are to be offered to the folk whose cards went missing on a first-come, first-served basis (to be filled in with your messages, which you can supply via messenger or email). If we run out, we may be able to buy a couple more, depending on timing and availability of non-crappy cards.

There are a few people who we have already made similar arrangements with, whose cards are obviously safe. 

If you have any questions, let us know. We’re really bummed out for the people whose cards didn’t make it (and alarmed by the postal service’s failings).

Cards not yet received

Hello, lovely Joe stans!

Just a quick mind-jog for those of you who signed up, but whose cards haven’t yet arrived - they’ll need to be here by 25 August, as we leave on the morning of the 26th to get to Scotland.

Don’t be alarmed if you posted it with another card and it hasn’t yet arrived, it’s probably due to arrive shortly. If you posted your card more then seven days ago, let me know. 

We do have a few people who are passing us messages to be included in cards we’ve bought. If you need to do that, or have expressed an interest and not yet sent your content, drop us a message to let us know. We’ll give you an email address and a link to view the cards available. They can be claimed on a first come, first served basis.

Don’t forget that there’s still time to sign up and we are accepting submissions and messages to the blog!

A double delivery, this morning! @redeemable-for-surgery & @awake-atnight - your cards have arrived! I think there may be another from Australia due, but I expect that will be in Monday’s delivery.

Post from the US is currently taking five days to each the UK - there’s still time if you’re in America or Europe!

@withkards is now open for submissions!

On the day that we launched @withkards, we were messaged by the lovely @vincentspostcard with a suggestion. Knowing that Joe is an intermittent Tumblr user, it might be fun to use the blog to gather some posts together for him, and provide the link with the bundle of cards.

And we thought it was a brilliant idea!

FROM TODAY, YOU’LL BE ABLE TO SUBMIT YOUR POSTS TO US TO SHARE WITH HIM.

We’re looking for the following kind of stuff:

Video messages

Text posts with your messages and greetings

Your artwork of or inspired by Joe

Poems if you’re a writer

Songs if you’re a musician

Other stuff we’re not creative enough to have thought of...

Obviously, not all submissions will necessarily be appropriate, but if we can’t accept anything we promise to let you know why and give you the chance to make any changes and resubmit it.

(The long and the short of it, is that we can’t realistically accept fanfic of pr0n for this, but I’m sure that goes without saying.)

The really important thing to remember is that the card drive is still underway and we still want you to get in touch to request the address so you can get it posted. We’ve had around ten requests, so far, so we’d love to double that over the next week. Which shouldn’t be too tough, given the number of notes the original post received.

Please promote the drive and take part if you can. 

We do have some spare cards available for those of you who are too young, broke or cheerfully disorganised to get something sent, so let us know if you’re having a nightmare and we’ll try to help you out.
