If I have learned anything about witchcraft, everything has to do with intention and protection. You have to be clear in your intentions. You have to make sure you are protected and practicing safely.
Remember you are continuously learning and growing. You’re allowed to stop practicing regularly and then come back to it later. You’re allowed to change how to practice. You’re allowed to make mistakes but always make sure you still putting your safety first.
Your practice is valid and so are you🫶

I HAVE ANOTHER REASON TO WEAR MY BANDANAS FOREVER YAY
Witch things to add in your room, poor person edition
Fuck it Most of witchcraft people tell you to buy shit. So here's some stuff u can do for free
grab some sticks from the ground, bind them together in a shape you like, add intent (usually protection), hang it up
make a flower crown, add protection intent, dry it out, hang it up. protection spell and real ward. regularly recharge intent.
dry plants, set warding intent, hang them up.
crushed eggshells on your window sill to prevent bad energy.
wear a bandana or veil somewhere on your body, sometimes i use mine as belts, to protect from bad vibes.
paint your nails in the color meaning you want. mine are pink for self attraction rn
when you light up a candle always ask if theres a spirit or entity there, pyromancy skills can be learned through google, tumblr, and tiktok.
Regularly clean and rearrange your altar if you can't practice everyday, this keeos the space clean and shows entities around that even if ur not active, you're still a witch
A cup of water can be an offering to anyone, imagine being an entity and you can't have water at all for centuries??
If you have glasses, draw a sigil on them while you clean them (i usually wash mine with soap and water to make it extra clean ((and dry with paper towels)))
Give your wall art jobs. Sure they can be decorative, or they can be extra eyes to watch you while you sleep to make sure no one messes with you. (Ive had so much wall art fall in the middle of the night and turns out smth was trying to get in my room...)
If you have black-out/thick curtains, let the sun in!!! I keep them tied during the day so i can use natural light and ease up my electricity bill
Change ur bedsheets semi regularly, it doesn't need to be every week, but keep in mind bedbugs and other entities can get trapped there... or even try to get there to make your sleep unrestful.
If your room is a bio-hazard, at least make pathways so you can walk without injuring yourself.
Thats all i have for now <3 blessed be and fuck capitalism

This is so real tbh😭😭
I wish it didn’t bother me so much that I can’t be my witch self around certain people. I want to be free to express my spirituality, but I have so many religious family members and friends that would absolutely lose their shit if they found out what I do. Sighhhhh.

Welcome to my witchy blog✨💃
The name’s godless and I’m an omnist, belief in all religions but no religion is 100% correct, but it’s important to know every omnist has their own perspective on it. I practice a little bit of every kind of witchcraft (more often than not I focus more on low energy practices)
Safe space for all except for those who want to make it feel unsafe

Witchy New Year Refresh
It’s the new year soon and I wanted to share what I plan to do to invite 2024 in with vim and vigor!
I plan to do this over a few weeks as doing it all at once would be exhausting and just isn’t possible for me. Do what works for you and listen to your mind and body!
Clean and Cleanse
Not just spiritually, but I plan to physically clean my space. Any time I am inviting something new into my home—be it the new year, new energy, or a new way of thinking—I clean and cleanse my space.
I’m not one for spiritual sterility, though. I tend to deep clean or organize my spaces and then I will move on to spiritually cleaning my space! Here are some ways you can do this:
Smoke cleansing - a common one but it’s a good one! Not a great option if you have asthma or pets.
Open windows - It’s pretty cold where I am right now but I still like to open the windows for a little bit to let the air flow through the space and carry out any stagnant air and energy.
Sound cleansing - Not always the best option for folks who live with others or have thin walls but I like to blast music and fill my space with sound. When doing this I prefer to use a playlist that invokes the energy I want to bring with me into the new year!
Spray incense - If smoke isn’t possible for you try using a sprayable incense! Just be careful since this will still distribute a substance across your space and if you have children or pets it’s best to use non-toxic plants for this.
Simmer pot - I love to throw together a simmer pot for cleansing my space. I find it works best in the room you’re in which is likely the kitchen but if you have a wax warmer or mug warmer then you can make a mini simmer pot by placing a heat-safe container of water on it and putting in whatever herbs and oils you want!
Connect and Reconnect
I have ADHD and if something is out of sight, it’s out of mind. To this point, I tend to forget about my oracle/tarot decks, offering vessels, and spell vessels. Here’s a few ways I plan to try to connect and reconnect with the spirits and energy around me.
Clean and organize altars or offering spaces - Self-explanatory but this means dusting, wiping down, and moving things around. It could also mean adding new things and tossing old things that have served their purpose.
Set out new offerings - I plan to try and truly connect to my house spirit(s) this year so I want to find a space in the home where I feel like I can best feel its energy and I will leave an offering. This also means refreshing offerings for deities.
Check-in with spell vessels - I’m a very physical witch, I tend to prefer having a real-world anchor for my spells. This adds up, though, and I’m stuck with a bunch of jars, bowls, pouches, or whatever else. Check-in and see if they’re still active or if you still need to maintain the physical aspect of the spell. If not, dispose of them appropriately.
New Year’s meditation - Practicing mindfulness and doing a meditation session to help me connect with myself going into the new year.
Shadow work or self-care - Shadow work is a form of self-care to me, though some of it can be intense and that’s not how I want to start my new year. Instead, I’ll be doing either some very gentle shadow work or I will be otherwise practicing simply self-care.
Misc
Other things you can do for the new year that I don’t have a category for!
Make a hearty and satisfying breakfast on New Year's Day to welcome in the new year--or at least a satisfying cup of coffee!
Drink tea that invokes the energy you’d like to follow you into the new year.
Make a list of things you would like to learn or try in the new year as far as your practice goes.
Here are some posts to look through for the coming year!

Pop culture deity work is watching your other witch friends leave beautiful offerings in the form of incense, hand-cooked meals, shells and stones, lengthy poetry, etc. while you’re over in your little pop-culture corner like “I offer up this cup of instant ramen”

The Ultimate Grimoire Guide
So! I have been seeing a ton of grimoire ideas and thought I’d stuff them all together. A lot of ideas are from @manifestationsofasort, @banebite, and @pigeonflavouredcake. Check them out! They have a ton of cool stuff there.
What Do I Use For My Grimoire?
You can use anything for a grimoire! For a physical one, journals, binders, and notebooks are good. For digital ones, Notion, Tumblr, Docs, and even just your file folder are great.

Tips To Get Back in Touch With Your Craft:
I’ve fallen really out of touch with my craft as of late, and this is a small tip of lists for me to start reconnecting with it again. I hope this list can be of use to someone else too!
Meditate
Starting from the basics. Try to keep a daily meditation routine. Don’t make timed goals for yourself when you meditate. Meditate just as long as it feels good and right for you. What phase is the moon on today? You can meditate on the meaning of the moon phase to help you focus if that works for you!
Ground and Center yourself (at least) weekly
It helps, it really does. Balance yourself and re-center your energies and you’ll feel more stable.
Daily Tarot
Draw one tarot card from your deck daily and interpret it. This will help you to reconnect with your decks.
Sigils for Everything
Sigils are fast and easy to use for pretty much everything. Need some protection? Draw a protection sigil on your body when you start your day! Put a beauty sigil in your make up bag! A sigil for good dreams under your pillow! A sigil for keeping hydrated on the bottom of your water bottle! Sigils can be used for so many things.
Tea? Those are Potions
Drink a lot of tea? Those are potions! Stir your tea anti-clockwise to get rid of something. Stir it clockwise to attract things. What ingredients does your tea use? Use the meanings of the herbs and fruits to charge and bring a little magic to your tea! Put honey in your tea to sweeten your mood or your day. Is your tea black, green, herbal, something else? This post has great resources for what different teas mean! Use those meanings and make tea your magical potion!
Got old spell jars lying around?
Charge those spell jars to get more out of them!
Work with any deities?
Thank your deities after eating a meal. Thank them for things big and small in your life.
Keep a dream journal! Or…
If that’s too much for you, think about the dreams you’ve seen after waking up and wonder what it might mean for you.
Pick up a new thing
Never got a hang of astrology? Start looking into it! Interested in different methods of divination? Do some research and find interesting ways for it! Start following new witches with crafts different from yours!
You don’t need to do all of these or do them the way I do them. Just pick up something and bring back magic into your life.
Psst, remember! This post is not encouraging cultural appropriation. Be mindful!
This post is not for TERFs.

16 Ways to Connect with the Gods when you don't have an Altar
So I'm currently away from home for 10 days (pet/house sitting) and I don't have an altar space with me. I have my tarot deck and that's it. I decided to write this list incase it might help someone else who is away from home or is just in the pagan closet. Enjoy!
Read your Deity's myths or listen to people read myths on youtube
Sit outside and just think about them
Set your phone background to something that reminds you of them
Wear their colours or symbols
Make or listen to a playlist dedicated to your Deity/Deities
Do a digital offering on tumblr or another site
Just talk to them about your day
Write some poetry for them. Anything can be poetry, it doesn't have to be good
Scroll through their tags on social media
If you have coloured shoelaces wear their corresponding colours on your shoes!! (I can't believe i didn't think about this earlier)
Do your make up to honour them
Talk about them in a (dedicated witchy/pagan) discord server
Do something nice for someone. I know it's cheesy but it's cliche for a reason. For me it definitely makes me feel closer to my Gods
Draw/make art of them or one of their symbols
Youtube ambiance videos are great! If your Deity has an association with fire, water, birds, communal spaces or music there are heaps of videos on Youtube that you can play. Think coffee shop ambiance (communal space), waterfall/rain/water ambiance, nature/bird chirping ambiance, fire place ambiance, studying at the library ambiance, etc. endless possibilities
Draw their sigils/symbols on your face with skin care
I hope this helps!! Feel free to add any other tips. I tried to keep these relatively accessible for everyone.

I think I was bound to become an omnist who practices witchcraft with two parents who were very spiritual with nature in mind and grandparents who were very religious but didn’t believe in the harmful rhetoric that some churches spread
Bonus: I hyperfixate on learning things so I was bound to explore other religions
#witchblr#paganism#witchcraft#omnism#spirituality#adhd witch#catholic family upbringing but moms a wiccan and dad was probably too#three generation household on top of that

I think you learn that you’re a witch in the way that you learn that you’re an artist, a baker, or a writer, etc.
One day something makes you wanna try it out. Then something clicks and you’re like “yeah, yeah this feels right.”
No one is born a witch just as no one is born an artist, a baker, or a writer.

Low Energy/Effort Witchcraft
Are you perpetually busy? Never have any spoons? This might be the post for you. Note that not everything here may be considered low energy or low effort to everyone, and that's okay :)
Carry a crystal around based on what you need. I have a black tourmaline bracelet that absorbs negative vibes throughout the day. I stick it on a selenite slab when I get home to cleanse overnight, then rinse and repeat in the morning.
Put a bay leaf in your wallet to attract money. If you have time, draw a sigil or a $/£/€ on it.
Dedicate anything you drink to your deities if you have any. I dedicate water and black tea to everyone and my favourite raspberry tea to Hathor. Coffee is for Caim.
Enchant your pill case so you remember to take them on time. Enchant your pills to work efficiently. ("Anxiety begone. Ye be banished" on all of my anxiety pills ✌️)
Draw a sigil on your body wash bottle to remove bad vibes or carve a sigil in a bar of soap.
Enchant your moisturizer to repel the evil eye. I fucking love this one.
Incorporate colour magic into the socks you wear (Goths who wear hot pink socks, I'm looking at you).
Enchant your charger so it doesn't break and so you don't lose it. Enchant your phone too while you're at it.
Sorry, I love enchantments--
Uhhhhh
Match those big ol jar candles to different intentions. Burn a cedar candle to cleanse/banish. Burn a cinnamon candle to draw in prosperity. Burn a citrus candle to uplift mood. This one is fantastic for broom closet witches.
Got a humidifier? Fill it up with moon water. You're welcome ;D
Politely ask the spirits of your plants to ward your space. Feed two birds with one scone this way.
Witchy social media. Scrolling on Tumblr and learning something new about witchcraft counts as witchcraft imo. Saving tarot spreads from Instagram for later counts too. Making Pinterest boards for literally anything also counts.
Keep a digital grimoire if doing it on paper costs too many spoons. I have used Google docs & drive in the past but I currently use Notion (You can copy and paste this way!)
If you still want a physical grimoire, print your stuff out and stick it in a binder or glue it in your journal. Boom. Physical grimoire
Listen to witchcraft related videos in the background while you do other tasks or chores in your home
Preparing a meal? Toss in spices that correspond with good health and drawing in positivity, or any other intention you have
Enchant your glasses to help you focus and "read between the lines" or see what wants to remain hidden (this one is a lifesaver at my job)

"Discover a wider selection of enchanting brews in our shop right here and explore a realm of coffee that transcends the ordinary."
__________
Rise and shine, magical maestros! To infuse your brew with an extra kick of mystic might, grab your wand... Or spoon, and let's conjuring!
Stir clockwise from the top point for a protective shield, warding off negativity like a pro witch.
Begin at the bottom left point and banish morning woes, showing those bad vibes the door.
Feeling the need for some grounding energy? Stir from the bottom point with a counterclockwise twirl, anchoring your day in stability.
Remember, it's not just coffee, it's a potion with a side of enchantement ! 🌙 ✨
