Morwenna let out a genuine laugh. “You’re truly correct about that. I don’t question her anymore because I was too focused on receiving answers to questions I knew deep down I would never get answers to.” She said with a soft smile. “I’m more happier now that I’ve decided to just let Fate take control and guide me where I’m supposed to be. It did take me a couple centuries to figure that out though,”

“Death can happen at anytime. It is unavoidable, even to you Poseidon.” The banshee spoke, her voice deep and echoey. “And I am not trying to scare you. I’m warning you.”

“Oh we do communicate. All of us Gods of death do. My mother, the Morrigan, Anubis, your brother, just to name a few.” She explained. “Truly I do not know why it was me, who was sent to warn you. I’ve learned not to question Fate and her plans.”

Morwenna let out a laugh and shook her head. “I can assure you I will not be seeing your brother anytime soon. I do not work for Hades. Surely you know that banshees aren’t Greek right?” She asked as her form began to shift. It didn’t take long for her to look human again. Her black, hollow pupils turned blue green and her gaunt, pale skin looked less like a corpse. .

“That is still a death as far as I am concerned.” Her eyes locked with his, her pupils like a deep, black abyss. “I am not the one who decides whether one dies or not. I am simply the messenger.”

“They are absolute menaces! Always poking and prodding. Wanting to know more and more. Eventually they will stop but the teasing will never fully go away. I should be use to it by now though I never think I will be.” She said the smile returning to her face at the mention of the young fairy.
“Oh I have missed Sunny terribly. I glad now I’ll have some time to spend with her. I absolutely adore her!”
“When do you have to start helping to prepare for winter?” Floxie asked as she leaned back against Alex’s chest. They were both enjoying the warm sun in the small clearing hidden away from everyone else. Floxie finally had time to spend with him now that Summer had ended but that wasn’t going to last long.
"We usually start towards the end of October.
It may be a little later since it's been quite warm so far."
Alexander replied running his fingers through the summer fae's light hair.
"So, have your sisters started teasing you since finding I'm courting you?"
He asked jokingly as his own siblings began poking fun since Alex told them, especially Toby, who took it a lot better than he thought his younger brother would.
