The funniest thing from Diluc and Batman parallels is the fact that despite having extremely similar backstories, they are so fucking wildly different in their MOs. Mostly because Diluc’s first instinct is to burn, maim, kill everyone in front of him. They both went on a year’s long trip out of country but Diluc’s resulted in him being BANNED from a country because he just wouldn’t stop terrorizing the local government.

Batman: It’s very important to make sure you don’t kill anyone you fight. No matter how cruel they are, everyone has a chance at redemption if they are willing to accept change.

Diluc: If not for being in a public setting, I’d set you on fire already.
