i lost my late teen/early twenties to ptsd after a traumatic event. i’m nearly thirty now and finally feeling like i’m getting to connect with the more positive aspects of ‘girlhood’. and at what point do you ever leave it, i don’t think it’s something eternal.
I am sincerely very sorry that was your experience, and I truly sympathise. I am so glad you are able to reconfigure what ‘girlhood’ is to you, that is completely deserved. ♥️
