Bueno, traté de evitarlo. Sentirme triste, desganada o simplemente aburrida. Normalizar mi incapacidad de sentir... y no sé si la causa de ello sea mi infancia asquerosa o las malas relaciones sociales que he mantenido con decenas de personas.

Tantas veces que he pensado en el suicidio y me forzaba a mí misma a creer que es algo normal. Que todas las personas están tan dañadas como yo, y que la única diferencia entre mí y el resto es que los demás son mejores mentirosos.

El problema soy yo, ¿no es así? Porque llevo más de cuatro años esperando que alguien me diga a la cara lo que en verdad valgo, que merezco sufrir o que todos estarían mejor sin mí. Por favor, que alguien me diga la realidad.

Stop panicking, the overall chance of survival is 98.7%. Yes, this accounts for being elderly, immunocompromised, or a baby. Yes, this accounts for heart and lung diseases.

You, yes you specifically, have a baseline 98.7% chance of survival. The younger you are, the more that goes up. Most of you are what, 20? Good news, your survival chances just shot up to statistically 99.8%.

Thats if you even contract it at all. Your chances of catching it are pretty low. The younger you are, the lower the chance. If you’re a woman the chance is lower still.

You’re not going to fucking die from Corona. You’re probably not even going to catch Corona. You have an 80% chance of not going to the hospital, a 90-95% chance of it not being ICU territory if you do, a 99.8% chance of survival and a higher chance of being struck and killed by a car than by this bitch ass virus that dies if you wash your hands.

So wash your hands, don’t lick strangers, don’t stick your dirty little fingers in your eyes, nose or mouth, and relax.
