I see all these posts about people feeling fake saying they have an ed for eating a sandwich. This is the shoutout post for people who starve all day and binge all night. The people who are stuck on a certain weight because they binge almost daily. The people who can’t control themselves and hate it more than anything. The people who feel like their ed is fake all day and every day.

Some things to keep in mind
Your lower stomach pokes out because of your uterus. It’s not body fat, it’s vital organs. Perfectly flat stomachs are incredibly hard to get because of your O R G A N S poking out
Everyone has rolls when they sit down. Even your thinspo. If not, the skin on your stomach would probably rip in half when you stood up. I promise your rolls aren’t fat, it’s just skin.
Cellulite is how the female body stores fat. It’s not unusual.
Stretch marks are normal and can happen for more reasons then just gaining fat to quickly. I know people who do track all the time and are crazy athletic and have stretch marks on their calves from gaining muscle to fast. I have tall friends who have stretch marks from growing too fast. You may have them for other reasons then weight gain.
The average person consumes 2000 cals a day. Your binge won’t set you back too far, I promise. I had a dinner close to 1000 cals the other day and still lost half a pound. Don’t get unmotivated cause of a big binge
Some people’s pelvic structure make thigh gaps harder to get
Alot of people have hip dips. It all depends on your hip structure. (I think about 50% of people but that could be wrong)
♡Feel free to add your own and stay safe♡

IMPORTANT
In one month I lost 25-30 pounds by calorie restricting. I went from weighing 165-170 to 140. I didn’t reach all my goals, binged more than I’d have liked to, and probably went a whole week without working out in addition to other days I didn’t work out.
My husband came home for 10 days and I gained nearly 10 pounds, getting back up to 150. I didn’t eat up to 3500 calories a day (the amount most need to gain 1 pound per day), meaning the sodium in the junk food I was eating had my body retaining water.
Hubs has been gone 3 days and I’m already back at 140.
My point is: don’t freak out if you don’t reach all your goals and don’t freak out with weight gain when you go from restricting to eating greasy junk. If you’re not going over your daily recommended calorie intake, you’ll lose the weight once you get back to restricting/eating healthily.

✨10 simple rules for a better you:
1. 2l of water a day will keep the cravings away.
2. No food after ten o’clock in the evening or before four o’clock in the afternoon (18h fast).
3. 100 sit-ups in your bed before you fall asleep is a good way to burn 56 calories.
4. Always say no to food that you didn’t plan to eat. For example me, I only eat dinner with my parents and if anyone asks me if I want anything before dinner I have to say “no”
5. Always shower in ice cold water. It burns calories and I just feel fat when I’m warm.
6. Always have a big cup of tea when you come home from school to provide yourself from binging.
7. Always weigh yourself on Monday’s and no other day.
8. Write everything you eat up. Even if you feel ashamed of what you ate, especially if you feel ashamed of what you put your filthy hands on.
9. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever purge. Just don’t do it, it’s dangerous and when you start you kinda get addicted.
10. Never eat in school
Meanspo for myself:If you can’t even follow ten small rules, what will you ever be capable of doing? Nothing. If you can’t get through with doing this then you won’t ever be able to do anything or get anywhere in your life so if you feel like not doing this and just feel bad for the rest of your life, you could just go kill yourself.

to the bone
am i the only person who didn’t like this movie?
i mean don’t get me wrong, lilly is so beautiful and brave for filming this movie esp since she had an eating disorder when she was younger
but i felt like it just displayed everyone else’s perspective on anorexia instead of the mindsets of anorexics
like really? just a teenage girl not eating, rebelling against a distraught family, indifferent to inpatient facilities and doctors, a blog about anorexia that lead someone to suicide, realizing the need to get better once she almost dies, and even going off on a tangent by trying to weave in a love interest
give us something that we can relate to
anorexia isn’t about not touching the food on our plates.
it’s about hating ourselves so much that we force ourselves not to indulge in a necessity that we need to live.
it’s about food being distorted into ingredients; into portion size; into calories; and into regret.
it’s about our self-worth being reflected by the numbers on the scale and the disappointment we get from higher numbers or the pride we get from lower numbers.
it’s about our lives being held on a leash of losing weight everyday instead of doing what normal teenagers do and hang out with friends, study after school, go to aquariums, watch a movie, or whatever.
it’s about keeping up a facade with everyone around you by using the same excuses to not eat over and over again and not letting them know what we’re going through.
a divorced family or unhappy childhood doesnt make you anorexic. it can happen to anyone who’s been broken down by the eurocentric stick thin expectations of beauty.
anorexia is not just about starving yourself to lose weight. it’s starving yourself to be happy.. or to be dead.
