"She (Daenerys) has the power to destroy, she can wipe out entire cities, and we certainly see that in ‘Fire and Blood.’ We see the dragons wiping out entire armies, wiping out towns and cities, destroying them, but that doesn’t necessarily enable you to rule — it just enables you to destroy." GRRM

Winter is coming again
Omg, this is true😏
My jonsa spirit is alive again after 5 years, I didn't post anything in 5 YEARS
But I read the tag with pleasure from time to time... and something with sadness
I know we lost fedon and that made me so sad, she was a great woman always so nice and friendly with me. She would have loved this news too, I know it and I am really sad she can't celebrate it with us (sorry for the sad talk but I need to remember her today too on this my comeback post)
Anyways good to see the jonsa family alive again, it remains the best fandom I ever joined and I always remember it with much affection
#jonsa#jon x sansa#sansa stark#jon snow#the au dream we are getting with this#5 years and I still am so sure jonsa is the best ever ship in asoiaf

“HBO: So, the biggest question on our minds: What was your reaction when you found out Bran would become king? Isaac Hempstead Wright: I had to physically get up and walk around my flat. I said, “What?! You’re joking.” It was the very last thing I expected to happen. I was convinced they had sent a script to everyone in which they become king or queen, so I still didn’t believe it until the read-through. But I think he is a great character to take on that role. You never thought of him in that way, but what more could you ask for in a king than to have no personal attachments, no agenda, but have a calm understanding of the entire universe? He’s the ideal person to be in charge. [Creators] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] told me there were two things [author] George R.R. Martin had planned for Bran, and that was the Hodor revelation, and that he would be king. So that’s pretty special to be directly involved in something that is part of George’s vision. It was a really nice way to wrap it up.”

#king Bran#yeah yeah i know#Bran knows a lot of stories#that doesn't make him a good king#he is not even Bran anymore#Bran died in that cave#he is something else#and he can't be lord of anything#that's all that Bran said for 2 seasons#but in the last 20 minutes of the show he became the best candidate to be king of Westeros#with all due respect to Isaac#what he is saying here is bs#there is no way to make twist seems better#no way at all#there were other characters that would have been better

imagine the backlash if kit was the one who demanded the scenes be changed so he'd look better...............
Kit: pls don’t have my character support a mass murdering tyrant
Everyone: He’s so sexist.
Like honestly this shit pisses me off. I am a true to my core feminist. I spent five years working for feminist issues. Dany isn’t a feminist character. You can’t be a conqueror and a feminist- you can’t.
AND THEY MADE IT MORE SEXIST BY HOW THEY WROTE IT????????????????????? THEY MADE IT A LOVERS EMBRACE. THAT SHIT IS DISGUSTING.
#emilia clarke#she really doesn't understand Daenerys#she has an idea of who Daenerys is that is 100% wrong#she even admitted that dumb&dumber gave her strange notes on how to play Daenerys#but she totally believed that killing people every season was empowering and feminist#WTH

i’m honestly so confused right now. where did people get the idea that sansa just decided for herself, with zero input from the north, to be queen? why do you think they’d accept that? they literally just escaped a tyrant. do ya’ll really think they would’ve chosen anybody else? who? i mean, they’ve tried multiple times to make her queen, have consistently recognised how she’s the person looking after their interests and safety, and it’s been made quite clear to the audience they’d never bend for anybody but a stark. would they have preferred robb or jon? honestly, most likely. they’d definitely prefer at least robb but hey, that’s not an option. what we do know for a fact is that they preferred sansa to jon at one point and we know they were 100% willing to choose her over him until she denied them.
let’s be very, very clear here: sansa hasn’t betrayed anybody. sansa has put her family and the north before herself for almost 3 seasons straight now and has on multiple occasions tried to increase the security of the power of her family and people (often at the expense of herself). ya’ll have reached the point where you’re actively lying to yourself just so you can be salty. frankly it’s embarrassing.
#sansa stark#sansa stark defense squad#can't believe I need to use this tag again to defende Sansa from Daenerys stans#but here we are#Daenerys became a tyrant but her crazy stans still think Sansa is the most evil character in the show#they are disgusting

There are a lot of things about S8 of GOT that I too did not love. HOWEVER, I think the petulant petition is fucking dumb. And the thing that annoys me about the petition bullshit the most is this completely asinine (also, fake) narrative that the people that put this thing together and/or signed it are somehow “supporting” the cast and crew by making their dissent public. But are you? Are you really? And more importantly, does the cast and crew you’re supposedly doing this for think so? Hmmm…step into my office and let’s find out:
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) thinks your “petition and things like that” are “disrespectful.” (NYT)
Jacob Anderson (Greyworm) thinks you’re “rude” and also wants to remind you that the show doesn’t belong to you. Also, he thinks your petition “trivializes” all the hard work that the cast and crew put into this last season and that you doing so is “sad.” (see appearance on Strahan and Sara)
Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) thinks your petition is “ridiculous” and has kind of “taken it personally” so great job there, assholes. (The Hollywood Reporter)
Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell) wants you to shut up. And he wasn’t even in season 8. (Twitter)
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) claims she’s never heard of your shitty band. (The New Yorker)
Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) has resorted to making snide petition jokes via twitter and/or reblogged others that have done so. (Twitter)
And finally…Kit Harington (Jon Snow) “doesn’t give a fuck” what you think. In fact, he literally said you can “go fuck yourself.” (Esquire)
But yeah, you lot are totally right, this cast and crew is absolutely basking in the warmth and comfort of your support. 🙄
Twats.
#game of thrones#dont pretend your petty hurt feelings are because you support this cast and crew#because thats crap#I personally dislike the ending too#but there is no point in signing the petition#and it's disrespectful to the cast and crew#we all agree D&D are dumb and dumber#but there are more people behind GoT and they worked hard

I'm not talking about her acting method, I'm talking about what she is saying right now.
Regardless of how she feels about the end saying that Jon Snow killed Daenerys because he doesn't like women is stupid af even as a joke because it shows that she somehow dismiss what Daenerys did in the previous episode.
Saying that Jon and Daenerys could have worked it out if he just talked with her is worse because it sounds like she thinks that Daenerys deserved a second chance after what she did or that she would have listened to Jon if he asked her to stop her world domination plan, like if what she said to the Dothraki and unsullied is just nothing.
Saying that Varys was warned doesn't make it better that Daenerys burned him alive when he was trying to stop her from committing a genocide.
The final season is already bad enough without Emilia Clarke trying to find the good in what Daenerys did to KL and the innocents she killed.
As I said, with all due respect for Emilia, I found her interviews full of bs.
Feel free to disagree it doesn't change thae fact that that's how I see it
I FEEL LIKE
EMILIA DOESN’T
UNDERSTAND HER
CHARACTER AT ALL

I opened the link because I thought this was maybe a joke, it isn't.
Emilia really said that about Varys, she really blamed Jon for killing Darnerys after what she did and more.
And all of this after she said that she wanted to show Daenerys in her last scene "as we saw her in the beginning: young, naïve, childlike, open, and full of love and hope" because she doesn't enjoy fans calling Daenerys the Mad Queen.
With all due respect for Emilia but she talks like her crazy fans... in her eyes Daenerys is still an angel and all the other characters were the devil because they didn't kiss her a*s and therefore Daenerys was justified for what she did... that's so obnoxious and irritating coming from her.
I FEEL LIKE
EMILIA DOESN’T
UNDERSTAND HER
CHARACTER AT ALL
#yikes#i don't want to be mean be she uses exactly the same ''''arguments''''#& sounds exactly like the rabbid dany stans out there#emilia clarke#pseudo feminism#everytime she says something about Daenerys I feel bad that I actually like her#I feel like she has no idea how wrong what she is saying sounds most of the times#like that bs about Daenerys fighting with a sword that she wanted in episode 3

One thing that still pisses me off is this:
Why the flying fuck should GREY WORM get a say in what happens to Jon?! Even setting aside his help at Winterfell, his tyrant queen was deposed and he personally has no right, even as Master of War or whatever, to keep the farce running.
Also he is a fucking war criminal.
Jacob Anderson was right. I don’t like GW at all right now.
#same#I'll never over this#he is no one to decide#his queen was dead#he is not a leader#he had an army#sure#but every army needs a leader#and in the end he is just a soldier#d&d ruined even this character

Say it with me folks, murdering an entire city of innocents after they have surrendered is not liberating them. And the fact that GoT let everyone involved get away with it is disgusting.
#wth#Grey Worm was the character I hate more right now#he is a war criminal#and let's be real he is not an important character#he is a secondary character#I'm not sure how many lines he said in all the seasons he was in#but sure enough he was never important for the endgame#and yet#he makes the rules in the end#bs#too much bs

I refuse to believe RLJ was unimportant to Jon’s identity. It absolutely was.
But it was sacrificed to fuel Dany’s pain. It propelled her wants, her desires, her needs.
Jon was sacrificed for the sake of fabricating a romantic tragedy where there was none.
They glorified Dany. And the people behind that decision can burn in hell for it.
In the meantime I will be grieving the second death of Jon Snow for the rest of the month. Because Jon lost. He lost everything. He is right back where he started- an outcast. But now, he’s disgraced himself, which is another massive crime. It’s like Dany took control of his mind and he lost all reason.
I’ll eventually move on from my anger and remember it’s just a tv show that jumped the shark, like so many others. But right now I’m going to rage at how badly Jon was abused and ripped to shreds by Dany, Dan and Dave, and the HBO executives that have a hard on for Dany
#jon snow#my poor boy#he died at Dragonstone last season#after he bent the knee he didn't have anything more to do for the story
