🎃 Pumpkin Spice Goat Cheese 🎃 . . 🍾 Pairings: Champagne, Blanc de Blanc, Carignan, Crémant, Grenache ~Aromatic White Wine, Medium-bodied red wine ~ 🍾 . . 🍷 🐝 🧀 . . Ingredients: ¼ can pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling!), 1tsp maple syrup (or honey), pumpkin spice seasoning . . 🍷 🐝 🍁 . . It’s fun to add pecans or walnuts if you want a more substantial dip, they add earthiness & structure 🥜 . You can also add bay leaves, thyme or sage if you’re looking for more complexity 🌿 . I have topped this dip off with raisins and/or craisins. Great for color & unique flavor! 🍒 . . 🍷 🐝 🐐 . . We always suggest adding your own spices. Some canned pumpkin puree comes “pre-seasoned” and in our experience its always… funky. . . 🍷 🐝 🧀 . . Fun items to dip in pumpkin spice goat cheese:: ~ Cold Sausages ~ Cinnamon Graham Crackers ~ Biscoff cookies ~ Carrots ~ Mushrooms ~ Rosemary Raisin Crackers (Trader Joes!) . . 🍷 🐝 🍂 . . Add ¼ can pumpkin puree, 1tsp maple syrup or honey - you can add more, depending on your palate preference. I prefer savory cheese to sweet, 1 tbsp pumpkin pie seasoning. Pictured is our Pear, Pecan Nutmeg Goat Cheese ~Pair With~ Albarino, Cava, Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc . . 🍷 🐝 🧀 . . ::Ingredients:: 1.2oz Freeze Dried/ Dehydrated Pears 2 oz Dried Pears 3 oz walnuts 1 tbsp Nutmeg 10oz Goat Cheese log . . 🍷 🐝 🐐 . . A fun twist on this: _Make pecan & nutmeg goat cheese. _Roast halved pears in the oven at 375F for 10-12 minutes. _Let pears cool for 15-20 minutes. _Scoop goat cheese into pear halves & serve immediately. _Sprinkle with pecan bits _Optional: Drizzle honey & balsamic glaze . . 🍷 🐝 🍂 . . Chop dried pears into fine pieces. Leave some whole for garnish & texture . . 🍷 🐝 🍁 . . Take the air out of the freeze-dried/ dehydrated pears packaging, reseal bag & with kitchen hammer, large spoon or another kitchen tool, smash pears almost entirely. (Think dusty, crumbly pieces.) . . 🍷 🐝 🐐 . . Blend Walnuts in Ninja, Food Processor, Vitamix or similar kitchen tool. Be sure to leave a little crunch, don’t blend for too long or Walnuts will turn into butter. . . 🍷 🐝 🧀 . . Add dehydrated & dried pears, nutmeg & blended walnuts into a bowl with a goat cheese log. . . 🍷 🐝 🍁 . .
