Why do some people need to be spoonfed certain scenes to understand the show?

Daemon does not still see Rhaenyra as a child.

Daemon does not miss Laena or love her more than Rhaenyra.

Daemon does not wish he was Aemond. (It's the opposite if anything💀)

And most certainly, Daemon was not having fantasies about his mother.

The whole point of the visions, is that Alys is psychologically torturing him. They're supposed to be disturbing.

She is using the fact that his inheritance was taken from him and given to Rhaenyra to manipulate him.

Think about the dialogue in the throne room vision with young Rhaenyra — "This is what you always wanted, is it not?"

Think about the dialogue with Alyssa — "If only you'd been born first."

Alys is clearly trying to fuel a sort of resentment within Daemon. None of these visions really reflect on Daemon's own true feelings.

i like this part, bc ryan's reasoning actually doesn't make sense at all and it really shows how full of shit he is. how is one more child actor so much hustle for the entire production, when siblings of this character have maybe 5min of combined screentime for the entire season and he would have even less? and you can actually recast him as much as you want /need without most ppl noticing, bc he's a toddler? how is it such an issue, when they did add scenes with baby aegon in s1, even tho they weren't necessary, meanwhile baby maelor actually is important for the plot? he absolutely needs to appear in only 2 essential plot points - b&c and his death - and you get rid of one of them? also if little kids are such problem, why de-aging rhaenyra's youngest sons and making them little kids? how is it such a strain for the budget, when we know s1 had 20million per ep, while got had 5-6million per ep for about 5 first seasons?

but ignoring all that, so it's such burden to hire child actor, but then it isn't and we can actually do it later???
