I bought this hair two weeks ago, and had it sewn-in, only to have to take it out 4 days later because my braid foundation wasn't right. (very important lemme tell you!) So I decided to color the hair and make it into a wig. And with geekscoutcookies as my witness,  the hair lightens SO quickly, I mean, within seconds it was already turning a gorgeous golden brown, 10 minutes into the processing and the hair was a honey blonde. Love it! I also let each bundle process for different times, for example, my two 12" bundles. One processed for 20 minutes, the other for 30, so I could achieve different levels of blonde. I used saran wrap to color on instead of foil, so I could see the color through the wrap since I was working with 6 bundles at a time. I mixed colors together, instead of just applying straight from the bottle. I'll be sewing her tonight and posting pics in a few hours. ^_^

Sunlight pics for nerdpoet. (The purple wig I finished a week or so ago.) The lighter purple looks kind of pinkish in this light BUT it’s definitely purple. (Kiss Purple Rage).

Kinky/curly wig for Estrella-fuego. The hair can be picked out for fluffiness (use your hands, spritz lightly with water and leave in conditioner) but I’ll leave that to her! I'm going to cut the front and then post pics of that.

Inspiration! I own the Rihanna Rocks (by Isis Collection) pictured above (mine is red) and after being gifted with this green/pastel hair today (Black Essence 100% human hair quality color O1B/PS2) I am going to turn this hair into that. Mmhmm. I’m usually all for coloring hair myself because I love the process, but this hair was too gorgeous to pass up, and really…who turns down a gift?? okay? Wish me luck… lol.

For nerdpoet : Barbz, I fell asleep before I could post the photos, I’m so sorry! So here she is, both straightened and curled. She’s layered with long bangs you can swoop to the side. (Let me know if you want shorter bangs.)

One of the purple tones looks pink but it’s the violet I showed you the other day. Let me know what you think!!

For my boo shylalen. Please pardon that last pic, I had just taken the rods out & was in the middle of applying some mousse before packing the hair up in the net when I remembered to take a pic of her.  Curls and a bit of color. 

Used: Outre Premium Natural Indian hair in “Summer Rain wave”, 12”, originally a light brown (6N), dyed dark brown, and black.

A short bob for brownskinnedbeauty. Specs: Outre Purple Premium Pack Yaki in 10” & 12” both in #2, and Outre Duby 8” in #27. I used Salerm Vision permanent color in Azul for the lighter blue shades, and Adore semi permanent color in Indigo Blue, after bleaching the #2 hair.

Corkscrew Curly. Made with Femi Collection all in one 5 pc pack in the color P4/30, mixed with some #27 and #33 Freetress Jazz water hair I had left over from an older wig. Made in December 2013.

Freetress Bay Wave All in one pack: 19”/20”/21”/22”, with 19” invisible part closure. Color: OP27 I sewed the closure closed underneath the lace. Heat friendly, Futura blend hair. One of my first wigs made in October 2013.
