Okay but hear me out
Am I the only one who thinks that the 'Alien Blues' fits perfectly to jongwoo??
I mean..
"I only talk to dogs bc they don't understand me" He actually had a better connection with animals than other humans. He kinda felt like a stranger between people, but when it came to animals? Even though he had no money, he was buying food to feed a stray cat, he looked after it, talked to it and everything.
"my teeth are yellow, hello world, would you like me a little better if they were white like yours?" He was from a small village and he wasn't used to the big city like this and his self-esteem was pretty low. He started to think that he was not enough for his girlfriend, especially when he saw her with his boss. I think that at some point he was even jealous about him.
"I need to purge my urges. Shame, shame, shame, shame. I need the alibi to justify - somebody to blame" as a alibi I think about moon-jo. I mean yes, this man did a lot of bad things to him and finally drove him crazy, but joonwo wasn't completely normal from the beginning? He was pretty aggressive even before he stayed at the Eden Hotel. I mean he almost killed a man during his military service 💀 He had a problems and moon-jo just pressed a trigger, while joonwo blame everything on him.
These are just a few examples, idk if it's accurate, but every time I hear this song I think about joon woo and how it perfectly fits him.
Maybe I'll try to do a animation with it?

On tumblr, everyone seems to absolutely hate Jongwoo's girlfriend and from what I've read it's mainly because of these things: she's not interested in Jongwoo's writing at all, their conversations barely scratch beyond surface level, she spends more time with Jongwoo's boss than her boyfriend.
Here's my theory on this: She doesn't know how to talk to Jongwoo.
He clearly has PTSD, most likely from his time in the military. His anger issues that are always one sentence from breaking through his calm exterior, his absentmindedness, how he barely shows any interest in the people around him and the interactions he has with them, the nightmares and flashbacks, his recklessness. Even he himself sometimes seems unable to unify his feelings and his behaviour with how he perceives himself.
Trauma changes people and I think Jongwoo might've been a very sensitive and rather naive guy in the past. From her perspective, he left for military and never came back.
But she feels guilty - maybe they just need time, it's not his fault, maybe they just have both changed. So she stays in a relationship with this stranger but their conversations become shallow and the things he says scare her (that's my take on why she doesn't ask about his book: it scares her what he's thinking about, the idealistic poetry is now replaced by violent storytelling; part of it probably *is* her not being interested in his writing as much - as romantic she found him and his words, she grew up in the past years and writing isn't really a reliable form of income from her point of view).
She turns to a sunbae she knows from college who listens attentively to her worries and is a shoulder for her to cry on (on that note - Shin Jae-ho 100% takes advantage of that, like no excuses for that. He thinks she's hot and he's better than Jongwoo anyway and now's his chance).
Jongwoo can't really see any of that through his anger. His tortured mind only sees her turning away from him and towards his sunbae and his sunbae whom he trusted looks down on him and takes her away from him.
(all of that was essential for me while watching hell is other people and after I spent half an hour scrolling through the strangers from hell tags and couldn't find anything like this, I decided to write it myself. )

Moonjo finds his beloved sitting on his favorite couch. It’s the same couch that used to be in his reading room back in the 4th floor of Eden Studio. The same couch he was sitting on when he’s up scheming a plan to make his beloved truly his and his only. One of the very few things of his possessions that made it out from being burnt to dusts. He never lets anyone touches his possessions, no, but now that his darling has finally became his, he guesses what’s his is his darling’s as well. After all, isn’t that the point of being together? To give and to take?
“Busy?” Moonjo sits on the floor near Jongwoo’s legs, his back leaning on the couch. His eyes never leaves his darling’s, trying to consume any and every emotion lurking inside it. It’s getting more and more difficult to know what’s in his mind, these days. Months being isolated in this place have made his darling become more manipulative, more violent, less predictable. Which of course excites Moonjo even more.
Jongwoo doesn’t budge, totally ignoring him. On purpose, I suppose? Moonjo’s lips curves into a thin smile as he watches his darling types with his delicate fingers. The light from the laptop shines on his face, making his already beautiful appearance even more ethereal. He is already in his pajama, the dark blue satin one that Moonjo especially bought for him. Moonjo loves how it fits his darling so well. Accentuating the slim figure of his body, complimenting the color of his skin. Showing the firm shape of his shoulders, his arms, his slender wrists—his empty, naked, slender wrists.
Well this is where he draws the line.
His smile drops. The warmth he had been feeling in his chest is totally gone. He stares coldly at his darling’s wrist. And even with his unreadable masked face, the rage that is suddenly building up within him is evident.
Jongwoo, who senses the sudden shift in the air, take a quick glances at him—whose eyes are still glued to his wrist—and then scoffs in disbelief. Jongwoo puts away his laptop and leans back, crossing his arms. He looks down at him—both literally and figuratively—crossing his legs and teasingly pointing one of his feet at the devil. And there it is, on his darling’s ankle: the bracelet of teeth. The one that is missing from Jongwoo’s wrist.
Moonjo looks up at his beloved. A mix of surprise and amusement on his face. A pure smugness on his beloved’s. For a moment, there's only silence between them. But then Moonjo’s face shifts again, into what looks like a mix of fondness and greediness this time. And... is that lust?
It’s already too late when Jongwoo realizes what’s gonna happen next. To Jongwoo’s horror, Moonjo kisses it. The cold of the metal of the bracelet and the warm soft skin underneath it. Jongwoo freezes. Too shocked to response. Cute. Moonjo chuckles, kissing it again. Jongwoo tries to retract his leg this time, before Moonjo grabs his feet, pulling him down to where he now kneels between his spread legs.
“What are you doing!?” Oh how he loves hearing the sound of panic in his beloved’s voice. Moonjo moves closer, he’s almost completely hovering over Jongwoo right now, only separated by Jongwoo’s arms that are clutching his shoulders, trying to keep him away.
A futile attempt, needless to say.

this is just a thought that occurred to me and idk where else to share it: i don't remember exactly but a few years ago a friend of mine read a book for class and one of the characters bit another character on the ring finger, which left teeth mark where a wedding ring would be. and now that i'm into sfh i can't help but think that i can totally see jongwoo having so much anger to evacuate that he bites moonjo and wouldn't it be poetic somehow if he bit him on the ring finger and basically gave moonjo a wedding ring like that? i know (i think) moonjo's more into teeth as a whole than biting or whatever but he's also into jongwoo just going apeshit apparently so idk i think it fits?
i was holding onto this bc i was going to make a fic out of it but i don't think i could do it justice. that being said i still absolutely want to hone in on it.
the concept of jongwoo doing this is so...raw and fitting for his character, okay? he's so unhinged and impossible to predict that even moonjo doesn't always know what to expect with him.
for the sake of simplicity i'm picturing something post-canon, murder boyfriends au, they've reunited after jongwoo gets out of the hospital and live a life of crime together, probably traveling all over the place, seeing new sights, etcetera etcetera.
one night, they're spending some much-needed alone time together. it's probably after some sort of intense situation where they nearly got caught or something, so jongwoo is very tense and moonjo is sitting there with him, waiting for him to calm down. they're probably in like an alleyway or abandoned building or something, all sat up against a wall. jongwoo is fidgeting with moonjo's hand, while moonjo talks idly about the next place they should go.
"we could leave the country," moonjo suggests. "see the world together." we all know moonjo is just running his mouth to pull jongwoo back down to ground level. he's content wherever so long as he gets to see how wild jongwoo's eyes get right before a kill.
jongwoo is staring at moonjo's fingers the entire time as he responds with a simple, "you say that like it'd be easy." even now, his tone with moonjo is clipped and sarcastic. he's not fooling anyone, though. "how do you think we're getting through security if you're supposed to be dead?"
moonjo is in the middle of giving that question some genuine thought when he feels sharp pain on his left ring finger. a bit uncharacteristically, he tenses, hisses through his teeth, and reaches up to tap jongwoo upside the head. he asks jongwoo to stop one, two, three times, before he finally takes a fistful of hair and pries jongwoo away from his hand.
in the wake of the attack, moonjo's ring finger glistens with saliva and the reds and purples of tooth-shaped bruises forming in the indents jongwoo has made into his skin. he frowns ever so slightly, glancing over at jongwoo in genuine, albeit calm, confusion. "jagi--"
jongwoo shrugs. "we're off the grid. it's not like we can ever get married or anything. this is as close to a proposal as you're getting from me." he looks as flustered as he does irritated, but moonjo knows by now that in these moments are when jongwoo is most genuine.
even if it's not official, he's not exactly mad about how they went from partners in crime to engaged. jongwoo is full of surprises, and moonjo definitely didn't see it coming. but it's also a reminder of why he loves jongwoo as deeply as he does. he can't help but smile as he seeks out jongwoo's hand and runs his fingers along the other man's ring finger.
"shall i give you my response?" he questions, only half-teasing.
jongwoo wrenches his hand free, glaring wide-eyed daggers up at his lover. "don't you fucking dare, you crazy bastard."
as if he hadn't started this himself.

Okay so since they confirmed the second season of "To My Star" maybe I'll say a few words about this series?
So it's not the best drama that I've ever watched, but it's one of my first ones, so I have a really strong feeling for it. As far as I remember it was really short, simple and absolutely cute. Korean dramas are often (not always but often) like this but it wasn't cliche or something like this.
Maybe it's just a sentiment but I really excited about the second season and I already know that I'll watch it as soon as it will be available.

Okay so I watched " I promised you the moon" and even though I'm not a huge fan of the first season, I literally fell in love with the second one.
I don't know why, but I have a feeling that they are pretty different. Not only the story, but also some affordability and how the whole thing was presented.
Also I recommend to everyone watch "last twilight in Phuket". It's a side story that takes place on the begging of the second season. It's really short and simple and maybe it doesn't add much to the story, but it shows a lot about the relationship of those two.

Okay I'm finished together with me and god it was so good. I really liked maxtul in manner of death but in this series they were literally amazing. I wish I know them before because now they have my full support.
Also maybe I'm weird but I really liked Farm storyline?? He's relationship with this doctor was really specific but also interesting and I like how he changed afterwards
