You look into a reflective surface. Your refection looks back. Your reflection moves of its own accord. You stare at it in confusion. Your reflections pulls you through the reflective surface into a new world. You’re hella freaked out.

That is, essentially, every character’s start in Halcyon. Its been this way for the past 50 years. You are free to put your own spin on the above scenario but no matter what, they join the other hella freaked out babies of Wicked Wishes.

They can appear in any part of this universe, so long as there is a reflective surface for them to emerge from. It is then up to them to climb their way up in the world or join a faction for support and stability. All of the factions offer something different to any newcomer, but they share a similar goal: getting to the magical mirror at the top of a tower on the center island of Koronis.

The mirror is said to offer those stolen from their home a way to return. But it’s locked behind many obstacles, traps, and finally an impossible riddle that no-one has been able to solve. Each Faction pours every resource imaginable into figuring it out, and war has even been threatened to take possession of the Tower exclusively.

Your character chooses their own path: do they assist a faction in finding what may be their only way home or do they settle down and make a new life for themselves?

Only they can decide.

What I love about what Henry brought to the character, and, in fact, the writers have brought to the whole piece… it’s almost– I mean, you can say it’s modern, but you can also say, actually, it’s timeless humor.
