jazmyn stopped spinning and scoffed, putting her hands on her hips. “first of all, if you get embarrassed that’s a you problem, darlin’ — i’m just fun and free spirited,” jazzy said. “second of all, i’m workin that night, this is an outfit for a client and he’s a high roller, so i’m doing it to please him and get that bonus tip. i just wanted to know how i looked — clearly as ridiculous as i thought, god i hate having to be polite and proper for people… it’s a sex club, not church. i swear i feel my daddy everywhere i go, it’s unnerving,” she said as she looked at herself in the mirror. “seriously, how bad is this? don’t be all ‘bless your heart’, cause i know what that’s code for.”
» riley couldn’t help but feel offended at the employees words. the ozdust had been a relevant club for decades, and now that it was in her hands, it was thriving more than ever. ❝ it might be a me problem. but if you fuck up once, or embarrass me even a little bit, you’re fired, darlin’, ❞ her tone was condescending, and her body language showed tension as she leaned forward, giving the petite girl a scornful look. ❝ i think you forget who you’re talking to. unless i misunderstood. i’m not here as your friend, i’m here to make sure you look presentable. we’ve received some complaints about a certain unnamed employee... i’d hate to think it’s you, ❞ she leaned back in her chair with a gaze like daggers, ❝ the ozdust isn’t a sex club. it’s an elite cabaret club with the addition of high-end escort services. if all you think we are is a dirty sex club, perhaps you should pack your bags because you clearly don’t have a professional attitude towards your job, darlin’. i’m sure peanut will be happy to pick up your shifts. he’s one of the highest earning in our club alongside garland. maybe you’d be up there too if you shared the same attitude and professionalism. oh - and if you don’t mind me asking, who hired you ? i’m going to make sure i fire them for not double checking your attitude. ❞

» riley crossed one leg over the other, leaning back in her chair as the other person spun around, showing off the costume they were considering wearing. ❝ i swear to god if any of you embarrass me in front of my clients this weekend i’m going to make your lives a living hell, ❞ she had to admit, she’d been a little worried about inviting some of her acquaintances and employees of the avenue to the annual winter ball. ❝ and there’s no way you’d be allowed in dressed like that. i preferred the first one, i think. if you were seriously considering this one, it’s a good thing you asked me to help you. ❞

olly could feel eyes on him as he sat at an empty table, coffee in hand as he tried to decompress for his fifteen minute break. he, however, had forgotten to take off his apron, making it look like he was just sitting around on his phone. still feeling a heavy gaze on him, olly looked up and locked eyes with the person staring. “ sorry, i’m on break - not slacking i promise. “ he called out to the person, his english accent only adding to his charm.
» a wave of relief washed over him - not that it was any of garland’s business, of course. but he was used to a strict work environment, and if he were caught on his phone on the job, it was likely he’d be penalised immediately. ❝ oh i was worried for you - though i can’t say what the management here is like. i turned down a job here for a job at the ozdust, ❞ he told him nonchalantly, as though it weren’t even a big deal. he pulled out a chair at the empty table beside the himbo’s worker, pulling a menu close to him, so that he could read without the assistance of his glasses, ❝ i don’t normally eat greasy food. what can you suggest that’s... tasty but won’t make me sick ? ❞

THE STRAIGHT HAIR FELL ALONG SIDE HER FACE. ivy accepted the compliment from the t a n g o m a u r e e n ’ s manager. there was a small break from performing so she would be able to hydrate and not strain her voice. the cool water was refreshing after spending time under the stage lights. the kink club had quickly filled up on the friday night. while many of the exhibitionists were in the back, a large crowd stayed in the front room. the dark eyes caught someone and ivy walked up to them, leaning against the table. ❝ any requests ? ❞ a smile followed the question.
➟
» garland had slipped into tango maureen’s on that incredibly busy night in order to get away from an ex that he’d seen on the street - one who he’d broken the heart of quite badly, unintentionally, of course. ( how was he to know that they were supposed to be exclusive without so much as a conversation ? ) he’d gotten himself a drink and found himself rather enjoying the entertainment in the main area. when the singer approached him he shrugged a shoulder, swirling his drink slowly in his hand, ❝ do you know any panic! at the disco ? or i suppose the killers would do. everybody knows mr brightside, right ? ❞ he returned the smile to the talented woman, hoping his requests weren’t anything outside of the singers ability.

“hey! no touching the dancers, right?” bee gives dorothy’s hand a little slap, playful smirk taking over her face. she can’t help it! it’s not often that dotty gives bee even the littlest bit of power in their dynamic. it’s bee’s job to use it to her advantage! after all, if dotty has nothing to punish bee for, neither of them would ever have any fun. “just let me take care of you…” bee loves every second she spends with the older woman. “you give me everything i want anyways. in return, i’m your private little puppy! flaunted for the world to see, but only yours to touch.” she practically yips. “what ifffff… if i make you cum now, you make me cum later? doesn’t that sound fair?” bee’s butt wiggles subconsciously, as if she had actually been wearing her tail right now. the poor thing hasn’t cum in days at this point, and god, she’s fucking aching with need. “i think that’s more than fair…” her voice drops, finger trailing down the other’s chest. “deal? pretty please?”
» a smirk plays on her red-painted lips. a fire starts within her as bee speaks, and she wiggles her butt, shifting the pressure of her weight in dotty’s lap. it’s incredibly hard to resist the playful girl, so she doesn’t. dorothy has time to spare, and as far as she’s concerned, so does bee. ❝ you want to make me cum ? ❞ she asks, teasingly running a finger down the side of her face before grasping her chin, holding her in place. she leans in close, eyes flickering down to look at those gorgeous, plump lips before she catches them with her own in a soft, warm kiss. her free hand grips bee’s thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze. however, since bee had asked so nicely, and she had gotten dorothy oh so worked up, she resists sliding her hand between bee’s thighs. she decides to make the deal. ❝ god i could eat you up. okay puppy. since you asked so nicely, i’ll make a deal with you. but i can’t promise that i’m going to let you go back to work before i make you cum. ❞

» yves sat at the bar, sipping at her vodka on the rocks and listening to the only slightly above average live music that was playing at tango maureen’s. it was her first time attending the kink club - and she wasn’t so sure if she was drunk enough to be ready to step into the next club room, where anything and everything was allowed to happen. upon seeing a familiar face approach her at the bar, she decided to make light-hearted conversation. ❝ i bet you five dollars i can guess your trauma. and i bet it revolves around... daddy issues, ❞ she let the acidic drink burn her throat again, ❝ i’m just messing with you. do you want a drink ? ❞

hey look, it’s RILEY OZWIN ! she’s THIRTY-THREE years old and originally from MANHATTAN, NY. now she’s in new york, working as an OWNER at THE OZDUST. i heard she’s pretty UNCANNY, but i think she’s so SYMPATHETIC at the same time. has she found her calling on the avenue ? ➸ aubrey plaza, lesbian, female + she/her - PENNED BY LUX.
riley was born to two extremely wealthy parents; her puerto rican businesswoman mother, and her european-american businessman father. the two of them were hard workers and they raised their daughter to be just the same - teaching her that everything in life had to be earned. she’s been working at the ozdust for a good ten years, since she showed interest in the business, and she’s owned the club for three, receiving full ownership on her thirtieth birthday, only after proving to her father that she was capable of running it.
she has massive top energy but is a switch at heart
composes herself as best she can, but can still come across as a bit awkward
enjoys being classy - but isn’t a snob
is surprisingly really good with kids

if one were to do a DOUBLE TAKE they may not believe that this frankie waters was ever a dancer at the bitch bite bar. the moment her shift was done she dawned loose, comforting denim as she maneuvered around the crowded venue. that’s one of the things she loved about the avenue — even if it was technically near closing time it NEVER felt like it. despite how nice the idea of living in the middle of nowhere sounded, frankie wasn’t sure if she could ever do it — from DC to NY the sound of traffic almost put her to sleep. enough cash to pay for the shot && a decent tip, she slipped it into her to-go cup of soda before once again attempting to escape the crowd, mixed contents instead hitting their feet && the floor.
a quick shake of her head, doe-eyed blues met the other’s with a warm grin. she recognized her from working around the avenue, some faces one couldn’t forget. “it’s fine, really. i don’t need it. you’re feet are wet && sticky now, that’s already too much punishment.” she lightly teased, scrunching up her nose in an apology. “i can grab some water for you ?? — to help at least a little.”
» ofelia recognised frankie upon looking at her face - she was one of the dancers, she was sure of it. but she hadn’t ever learned her name - as her visits to the bitch bite bar were only to get away from her own workplace for a drink before heading home for the night. she struggled to make eye contact with the stranger, though of course it didn’t stop the light blush creeping onto her cheeks - which she hoped the other girl wouldn’t notice in the coloured lighting of the club. ❝ i’d really appreciate that. that way i can stand outside and pour it over myself. it might make my walk home a little less unpleasant. and i’m starting to think perhaps i don’t need a drink, i might just need to head home. am i allowed to tip you for your service even though you’re not working right now ? or is that against the rules. ❞

She was still only perusing the rest of the avenue, trying to get a sense of the surrounding establishments as she tried to focus on some things other than her own personal life. Perhaps it wasn’t the best way to meet people, but it was better than nothing she supposed. She had been holed up in her office too long, avoiding socialisation. Jumping at the voice, she smirked at the name before pressing a hand to her chest, “As much as the title is wonderful, I’m just looking.”
» orwell couldn’t help but smile to herself, tossing the dvd case back into the pile of newly damaged stock. it wasn’t such a big deal - they weren’t likely to sell them all before needing to toss them anyway. assper the friendly ghost could only sell so much. ❝ well, whatever it is you’re looking for, feel free to give me a shout and i’ll help you out in a jiff. even if you have the weirdest of kinks, i can tell you where to find it, ❞ she started to ( unfortunately ) do her job, organizing the messy pile into smaller piles of their respective titles before beginning to put them back on the shelf. ❝ you’re lucky you picked this store. you’re gorgeous. the guy at the store a couple streets down ? he would’ve said, “hey dollface, you’re much too gorgeous to watch porn. why don’t ya let me lend ya a hand ?” like come on. even if you’re thinking it, keep it to yourself, you know ? since when can’t beautiful people enjoy the art of pornography ? ❞ she quoted him in a husky, mock-old-man voice.

IT’S NO SURPRISE THAT CLAUDIA ENDED UP IN A KINK CLUB. sure, she’s only bartending it, but she’s an active participant as well. she loves all of it - all sides and aspects, from simple rope play to things more devious, like petplay or leather play. claudia had been drawn to the club the moment she laid eyes on it. god knows how she ended up in this strip, but once she saw it, she knew it was destiny. she doesn’t make a lot - but it’s enough. it’s an honest living, more modest and… un-lavish than she’s used to, but that’s fine! she’s learning to live with it. and who knows! maybe some rich milf will walk into the bar and hit her up one of these days.
“hey, i haven’t caught you in here before.” swooping down like an eagle to its prey, claudia can’t help but snicker. this is her favorite part, picking on the newbies. it’s always fun when they get all flustered. “whatch’a in here for? there’s gotta be something sick that drove you in here.” plus, when she flirts with customers, they usually tip her better. “for me, it was breathplay. not a lotta places you can really let loose like that.” she smiles. “can i get you anything to drink? outta your pocket, though.”
» riley shrugs her shoulders a little nonchalantly. there were a million things she could say, skimming through her thoughts one by one in an attempt to pick the most appropriate one. ❝ oh yeah, i’m not around often because my status demands i have a certain amount of class, so, ❞ not the best choice, she thinks to herself, ❝ what i mean is, i’m usually found around the ozdust. that’s my joint. i don’t really have to work so hard, but i stick around as much as i can. apparently i have an energy about me that just... makes people behave. go figure. ❞ since she had taken over from her father, she had learned a few lessons. one was that people paid more attention to women when they weren’t nice. and they paid attention even more when that woman was in a suit. ❝ i’m here for a lot of things. bdsm, mostly. heavy on the sadism and masochism. also i really, really like latex. not like, fullbody covering, but y’know. normal clothes but made of latex. i think i’m looking for a person. maybe. who knows ? i’ll get a wet pussy, if i could, please. ❞

Instinctively, Joaquin felt the need to place the blame on his shoulders. He hadn’t been paying attention to his surroundings, the bar was crowded and he was simply asking for his drink to be knocked from his hands. The glass shattered upon impact and he took a step back, arm extended out to stop the stranger stepping in the mess. Her almost immediate apologizing only made him feel worse, he wasn’t the kind to get angry over small things but even if he were, the regret in her voice would have been enough to extinguish it all.
“It’s fine, don’t worry about it.” He said while toeing the glass into somewhat of a pile as one of the bartenders came out to sort the mess. After turning to face the woman, Joaquin knew she was the one in need of a drink with all that exhaustion pulling at her features. “You okay? Didn’t step in any of the glass, did you?”
» if she hadn’t been so good at holding her composure, she might have started to shake at the way he pushed his arm out towards her. at first, she thought that he was about to shove her - which she supposed she might have deserved. but she realised within moments that he was preventing her from stepping in the glass that had smashed on the ground between them. when he spoke, she exhaled the breath that she had been holding subconsciously, and allowed herself to blink her big, doe eyes. ❝ i’m fine, thank you. i didn’t step in it, i don’t think. it just gave me a fright, more than anything. i’ve had a really rough night and i really do feel awful. are you absolutely sure you don’t want me to replace it ? ❞

he was on shift, leaning casually on the bar as he glanced around trying to ensure that people were on their best behaviour. there was always one person who tried to break the individual workers personal safety rules and he was usually fairly quick to spring into action when that happened. he might be a wreck, but he rarely let it affect his professional life.
he was tapping his fingers on the bar, a drink in hand before he was nudged and the drink spilled. surprised he had been caught off guard he turned in the new comers directions before realising who it was and why he’d allowed her to catch him off guard. he wouldn’t suspect ofelia of causing trouble, given she worked there. “no problem, o.” he replied, “nah no need, you good? didn’t splash you did I?”
» it was almost a relief to see that the person she’d bumped into was none other than the bouncer - not just a client of the edge of glory. of course amongst the crowd, only levi would have known that ofelia was a worker there. otherwise, she was indistinguishable from any other person at the bar. ❝ it was my fault, so... i guess i technically splashed myself. but it’s okay. i just thought i’d have a few drinks before i head home, ❞ she told him, ❝ i’m sorry i wasn’t watching where i was going. i’ve had a really rough night. are you sure you don’t want me to replace that drink ? i’m heading to the bar anyways. ❞

B E A T R I C E:
BEE NEVER LIKED GOING RIGHT HOME AFTER WORK. sure, her job tires the hell out of her, but there’s just something so daunting about the idea of returning to an empty home. sleeping in an empty room, with nothing but the faint sound of television humming in the background… it’s not her style. she much prefers hanging around the bar & getting absolutely sloshed on the cheapest shit before heading home & immediately passing out. it’s worked well for her so far, & she won’t give it up until it bites her in the ass. not that she has to worry about that tonight - she’s still got a long night ahead of her. no, bee’s just on a break right now. dorothy always yells at her for drinking on the job, but no one can deny it livens her up like nothing else. whatever it takes to keep her awake, right?
she’s on her second drink of the night when ofelia crashes into her. she’s a tiny little thing, so she can’t stop her scrawny body from stumbling backwards, sending her own drink flying out of her hand & splashing across her feet. “hey, don’t worry about it! trust me, i’ve had way worse shit happen at this bar.” a light giggle falls from her lips. “bee. but, um, don’t call me that around here. girl to girl,” she pauses for affect. “most people around here know me as dolly. it’s my stage name - i dance here. but i also get a discount, so i always chill around the bar during my breaks.” a little smile lights up her lips. “you seem stressed, babes. want a drink? i know all the good shit here.”
» ofelia can’t help but feel awful. she leans forward, hands carefully placed on the strangers wrists, ❝ i’m sorry - do you need help getting cleaned up ? look at you, i’ve made such a mess. ❞ her laugh is light and sweet and it’s a relief that she’s not going to have to put up a fight. she’s much too tired, even to defend herself against an honest mistake. ❝ dolly, ❞ she says, acting as though she hadn’t even heard the girls real name escape her mouth. she isn’t quite sure why she has her defenses up even when she feels comfortable calling the avenue her home. ( though of course it likely stemmed from issues she wasn’t ready to face just quite yet. ) but they’re a little more relaxed now with bee’s attitude. ❝ i’d love a drink. but please - let me replace the one i made you spill. ❞
