Not A Cat
(Cuterebra buccata, a gorgeous botfly which apparently parasitizes bunnies? So large I thought she was a cicada when I first sighted her!)
One can see how I initially took her for a cicada:
As always, if you're thinking about dropping a comment here which is hating on bugs, move along or get blocked.

Okay so semi theory time? A record of my thoughts at least
We've clearly got an archivist running around yeah? And it doesn't seem to have moral qualms about killing people, intentionally or otherwise. It explicitly has more than 2 eyes, so it's full on monster form, and seems to retain the base instincts of the eye- to eat trauma and collect information. But it has none of the finesse that Jon had, pulling information all at once to try and find what it wants, rather than targeting specific memories or knowledge.
We also have Chester. Who is the same voice as Jon and who has (probably?) Been sending the crew emails and egging Sam on. Morally wrong? Sure. But there's thought and calculation behind it. Without a body though, he's only got as much influence as a barely functioning computer system.
Two halves of Jon, the body and the mind. Or the monster and the human, if you like. It seems like when Jon got pulled into Somewhere Else, he got split. It's possible the archivist isn't him, that it's one of the previous ones. But we know that Gertrude is alive, and I find it somewhat unlikely that it's one of the others. I think it's reasonable to assume that this archivist is Jon edition.
Which brings me to another point of interest: there are three voices in the computer. Chester, Norris and Augustus. So if Jon is Chester, and he was split into pieces of himself, does that mean the others were too?
In summary, please please please let me have full monster Martin and Jonah PLEASE
