A couple of years ago I put up a pic of the leg press weights at the Fort Lee gym. I’d just come onto active duty and was starting to put effort into fitness. I was proud of myself for making it back up to 290#, especially with two busted knees. Hit 420x10 this morning. Might max this thing out here soon. It’s a good feeling. Had a great lifting session with some other senior NCOs in my basement gym this afternoon! Increased my bench PR by 20lbs and I upped my deadlift PR by 35!!!! I can’t wait for a quick weekend back home for Columbus Day. Picking up a new car, seeing who I can see, and taking a Saturday night to relive so many amazing times with such amazing people from over a decade ago.
