the cold breeze comes into the room through the slightly opened window. you were sat on the bed beneath the covers online shopping for some new clothes. you had been in the same spot for around an hour, which has made your posture hurt.

after what felt like years, you finally turned off the laptop, placing it on the bedside table. you get comfortable in bed. the door creeks open, revealing matt’s figure. he looks stressed, tired and upset all combined into one. “are you awake?” he whispers, tip toeing to his side of the bed

he pulls back the covers, climbing into the bed. his body was cold and shaken, it’s obvious something was wrong. “baby?” he shook your shoulder, which woke you from the nap. you look over at him, noticing his eyes which were fillied with tears.

“what’s w-” you dont get to finish your sentence, he climbs on top of you body, laying himsef on top of you. “skin to skin, please. ‘need it.” matt says quietly, sitting up and removing his shirt. whenever matt got anxious, he asked for skin to skin cuddles. you didn’t complain.

you remove your shirt, placing it on the floor. “bra too. please.” he mumbles fiddling with his fingers. you take off your bra too and let him lie back down, his head in the crook of your neck and his left hand cupping your breast.

slowly, you pull the covers over the two of you, wanting to be warm. one hand wraps around his back and the other scratches his scalp gently. “i got you, baby.” you mumble, trying to soothe his tears which were dripping onto your neck.
