v1 Riann's Dressage Poses

Me? Finishing poses for both horses and riders? Unbelieveable, but true! (Photos unedited, using no reshaders or anything)

Introducing Riann's Dressage Poses v1! These poses were designed for use with the SSO import saddle (long-stirrup version) from @minervamagicka and SchrodCat, so while they will probably generally work with other saddles (particularly dressage saddles), I have not really tested it and the rider's positioning may look off.

You will need the usual PosePlayer and Teleporter, simply teleport the horse and sim to the same location and have them both do the same pose! For ease of use, the horse and rider poses are separated into different packs. For the riders, there are two versions of the Flying Change and Pirouette poses. One utilizes the MMxSC long-stirrup saddle, but has a less realistic leg placement. The other utilizes the version with no stirrups, which allows for more realistic leg placement, but that means you have to edit stirrups in. Your choice!

The only current known issue is the left-side rider's foot in the canter pirouette- if I want the leg to be the length of a normal human leg, some of the thicker boots have to clip through the stirrup a bit. As long as you're not taking photos straight-on from that side in that specific pose, however, it should be fine.

I'm currently working on getting the rider poses updated for the MMxSC dressage saddle with longer stirrups, but I had a medical procedure today so I'm on some heavy meds lol. Making those kinds of closely interacting poses is breaking my brain a bit! The early release rider positions (w/o stirrups) are available for Sims Animal Fancier Club members, but the public release should be here either tomorrow or the following day. Since I've seen a couple conformation shows (and I feel good enough), I'm going to do some fun show stance poses just to keep the motivation going lol

Jumping Poses v0.1

Some horse-only jumping poses for tonight! These will also have rider made for the v1, but until we get more saddles, I'm enjoying just posing horses for the moment. Includes an approach, takeoff, landing, and both a long and short bascule.

Known issues: -The throatlatch area can have some strange deformations in some horses in poses where the neck is extended. Currently working on a fix for this, but for now it can usually be hidden with some good angles lol. -Yes, I know the approach looks off at first glance, but I promise it's really not. It's referenced from horses that are really excited, and the rider is holding them back to the proper number of strides before the jump. -Reins still aren't perfect for these ones. Again, will have those fixed by v1, maybe before.

v0.1 Dressage Poses

—!! These poses have since been updated to v1, with accompanying rider poses! I’ll link here in a bit, but it’s night rn, so you can find the updated post here on my blog !!—

Alright, this is going to look like such a sketchy link from a new account, but my first TS4 poses have been made! These are horse-only dressage poses. I'll hopefully have some riders to go along with them for the true 1.0, but I don't trust myself to get them right without a proper dressage saddle just yet! There's a salute, Spanish walk, extended trot, piaffe, flying lead change, and pirouette included.

Comments/critique always welcome :)

Known issues: -Some issues with the EA feathering, just due to how they have it move on the rig. Currently trying to find a fix but it might be a while. -The Spanish walk is a pretty drastic movement for the rig, and it can lead to some weird distortion on the lifted shoulder. I'm going to be tweaking this, but it probably won't be fixed before v1. -The horse model itself is just long. Idk man. It makes itself more obvious with the pirouette than anything else. It can be fixed with some good camera angles, though. -The reins aren't properly positioned for sim hands atm. I might put up a v0.2 with those fixed if it bothers me enough (or someone asks), but otherwise, those will be fixed when I add rider poses.
