London Town

Everything about London was wonderful-even the weird brown green colour of the Thames. There was just one thing I could not get past. How could a city with such wonderful sights, food, and pubs not have solved this? Maybe tourists were causing the problem and wouldn’t conform to the rest of the Londoners but I was shocked that in such a developed city that this would be a problem. People did not choose one side of the road to walk on. Everywhere walking was chaotic and sometimes spilled into the street.I would’ve understood walking on the left hand side of the sidewalk because they drive on the left, but that was not so. I would’ve even understood walking on the right, because the elevators leading down to the tube have people stand to the right if they are traveling slower.

Either way, I now have a deeper understanding of the movie V for Vendetta. It’s all perfectly clear- Londoners love chaos.
