I finished Christmas Belle! 🥹 I’m so incredibly proud of how this has come out - especially the bodice! The bow just needs some tails and then snaps added to attach it then she’s had her finishing touches 🥰

Absolutely fell in love with this version of Carol’s suit in The Marvels - and the film itself. My boyfriend very kindly bought me this for Christmas 2023 and I couldn’t wait to take her out for a spin 🥹

I’m proud of the wig on this one - the way the wefts are on it I couldn’t french plait it fully so I did the best I could. This was also the first time I got a lace front wig to properly glue down! 15 years in this hobby 🤣 I’m lucky because a lot of the time they just sit flush to my head with no issues, but this one lifts up around the ears. Fine for her normal look but not for this one!

Snow got a revisit at the end of last year - I loved the original version I made, but the bodice was too short and the skirt too long which threw the proportions off.

So she got a new bodice in the Self Made Princess pattern - keeping the old sleeves - and the skirt had a few inches taken off it and a petticoat put underneath. The new proportions and shape look so much better imo!

I frankly, could not be bothered wearing the cloak to this convention 😂 would for sure love a shoot in the woods or cottage with this princess 🥰

My dream cosplay shot in an absolute dream of a location 🥹 these photos always fill me with joy and are some of my absolute favourites ever in my whole time cosplaying (almost 15 years now!)

This was my first big ballgown build and the scale was challenging because I’ve only got a small sewing space. I’m still so proud of it! And it has pockets!

This was a low cost build made out of left over fabrics from builds done by me and my friends! I absolutely love how she came out, and she’s super comfortable to wear!

This bodice is the same Self Made Princess pattern but without boning. The linen look cotton on the bodice is sewn onto coutil to still give it some structure then fully lined. I adore the patterns from @nikitacosplay , they’re a staple in my collection now!

This was the second corset I made using the Self Made Princess pattern back in 2022, but I only got around to shooting her last year. Sleeping Beauty is one of my favourite classic Princess films so I’m happy I’ve cosplayed both the peasant and Princess look 🥹 I do need to work on the bangs on the wig though, wigs are my weak spot 😅

My third version of Belle’s peasant dress. I absolutely love how this came out! In typical me fashion though I’ve since remade the bodice to be a boned lace up one with more shape and structure. Belle is my absolute favourite princess to cosplay - I’m slowly working through all of her dresses!

Aurora was a dream costume of mine for many years - the blue dress in particular! I’m so glad I conquered my fear of the neckline and stretch fabric sleeves 😅

I’m absolutely going to wear her again this year, I’d love a beautiful location shoot with her. Especially as I now have a crown that fits on my head and the necklace!

I absolutely adore this cosplay! This was my own design of her that I started back in 2021 with the skirt, then got awful creative block and shelved her. I’m so glad I revisited her when I became confident with creating boned bodices, and I’m especially proud of how the lace and appliqués came out.

I’ve cosplayed Rapunzel in 3 different dresses over the years, I can’t help but revisit her. I would love to wear her with a full braided wig, maybe one day!

In 2022 I remade my Ariel cosplay from 2016! I didn’t get any proper photos of her at con as I wasn’t feeling well that day due to lack of sleep 😅 I would absolutely love to wear her again in 2024 and get location photos. And do a better job on the wig!

Through 2022 I learned how to make corsets and boned bodices for my princess cosplays through Nikita Cosplay’s Self Made Princess book - and they’ve been an absolute staple for me ever since!

I’ve been working on Belle’s dress from the Enchanted Christmas film since early December and the bodice is FINALLY DONE. All the trim is hand sewn and over all I absolutely adore how it’s come out! The roses in particular I think just added the perfect finishing touch 🥹

I need to just make the skirt now, but I also really need to cut the skirt panels for my MCM May project as it needs embroidering. And I hate leaving projects half made but April and May are going to be super busy for me work and life wise, so I know I need to start my May project too 😭

(For MCM May I’m making Anna’s coronation dress from the first Frozen film. So lots of embroidery!)
