I feel like if the key was there then they would have shown Ahmet or Esra picking it up, so either someone else somehow found it and pocketed it (for Season 2 time travel shenanigan reasons) or it was a production oversight?? I've seen the show twice and I honestly had trouble keeping track of who had which key!

I NEED EXPLANATIONS!

Guys, I was watching Midnight at the Pera Palace with my boyfriend (it was my second time watching and his first), and he noticed in ep7, that when Halit finds Peride's body, there's a key on top of the toilet!!!!! In ep8 it shows that was Sonya's key and she comes back using Peride's key that was in bed. So, I went back to ep1 and realized that when Ahmet and Esra find her body, they don't show the toilet so you can't see if the key is there.

Does this have any importance for the season 2 or did they just forget this detail?
