Saw this cool looking car the other day when I saw driving my route. I was going to ask reddit what it is but I’d prefer to stay on my home turf 💖
This is a 1978-1979 International Scout Selective Edition.
See: gold stripes and wheels, black plastic grille.
@things-about-cars-in-posts received an ask about an International Harvester truck, and firmly assures it will eventually be gotten to, despite over a year having passed. - @tumblehcendrum

This amalgamation started life as a 2010-2012 fourth generation Nissan Altima sedan.
See: tail lights, horizontal chrome lines in the front grille and (what looks like) a non-black lower front grille (both indicating a post-facelift 2010+ model), its original badges in their factory location.

Dear @londonadayatatime, this car is a 1991 Nissan Figaro.
This post breaks with the blog tradition by offering no exemplifying picture, to further encourage readers to visit the usual link to the dissertation on the car in question - a post that caused someone to buy a car from the other side of the world, and that fact may still undersell it. Its first part was posted from my main, @tumblehcendrum, because it predates my creation of both this blog and @things-about-cars-in-posts.
Again, do me and yourself a huge favor and visit that link for some of the greatest cars I've had the pleasure of witnessing. Whichever your feelings about cars, I promise you will not be disappointed.

This car is a fourth generation (1999-2005*, known as A4) Volkswagen Jetta, generation also known as Bora.
See: shifter shape and chrome surround,
badge and taillight shape,
window and door handle shape.
This car was experienced by friend of the blog @chevyventure, much to his chagrin. - ID by @ldub0775, sage nodding and post by @tumblehcendrum.

I was reading thru your blog, browsing the Volkswagen Beetle tag specifically, and found a note on how the Beetle is named after a bug in every language. Which is a really fun fact, but I'm sorry to say, there is at least one language that didn't follow suit...
In Finnish it's called "Kupla", which means "bubble".
This is an ask intended for this blog's factoid-dispensing counterpart, @things-about-cars-in-posts.
See: the reference to its Beetle post, OP's following ask.
The issue of getting blogs wrong is alluded to in its pinned and exemplified in one of its (or, technically, this very blog's) posts. - @tumblehcendrum

This car is the 2014-2018 M version of the sixth generation (2011-2018, known as F80) BMW 3 series, which, due to the first generation 3 series not receiving an M version, is the fifth generation BMW M3.
Differences between the two (bumper, fenders, stance, badging) can be seen by comparing the original picture (second non-watermarked picture of a car in a real world environment in the Google Images results for "car back") with a regular F80 3 Series picture (incidentally, first such result, likely discarded by OP over its tall crop, slightly angled car orientation or darker paint shade).
The BMW M3 was briefly discussed in a post about the BMW art cars by blog origin @things-about-cars-in-posts. - @tumblehcendrum
recreated the nightmare i had where i got into a car crash because i got blinded by this bumper sticker
#OOOOPS I'M SORRY THIS WAS MEANT TO BE QUEUED#this would not be a big deal were it not for the fact that it was queued *after* multiple asks one of which has been waiting for a MONTH#please accept my apologies dear askers! may i assure you i took care of your requests beforehand!#bmw m3#bmw 3 series#tumblehcendrum#car id#highlight#(mostly because of the google image find lmao)

This is a 1972 Ford Galaxie LTD hearse.
See: wide body-color B-pillar with a badge, body shape without a raised roof, big ol' Mourn Hub sticker that eventually led me to the owner's Instagram
- @brick-enthusiast

#aussie car alert#the owner calls the company who built it “sage and sons coach”#owner of another similar hearse (1971 galaxie) refered to the converter as Sage Autoworks from Clifton Hill near Melbourne#<- if that's anything. all i could find#other than like. an off-road accessories retailer from utah (us)#car id#ford galaxie#brick-enthusiast

From Masculin-Féminin, mid-60s Paris. This car on the right has a very distinctive and strange front bit🤔
This car is a 1962-1967 Citroën DS. See: the post-1962 front bumper, the pre-1967 headlights.
To learn why it may also be a Citroën ID, see it in all its various beauties, and much more, see the @things-about-cars-in-posts retrospective on the model and its variations. - @tumblehcendrum

This is a third generation (2008-2019) Nissan Cube.

See: position of panel gap along the fender, 195/60 R15 tires, four bolt wheels, inner fender liner, OP's later confirmation.

The Nissan Cube was a contender for the title of most nonbinary car in a post by this blog's explainy counterpart @things-about-cars-in-posts, which also discussed its even funkier lineage and, for the benefit of @judeusinabsentia, bolt count and its evolution in time (though I should note, the four bolts are still alive and well in smaller segments).

This car is a 1979-1986 third generation Ford Mustang (known as Foxbody).
See: the small rear quarter glass with louvres behind it, replaced in 1987 by a larger window.
A Mustang retro- (and side-) spective was written by this blog's pant-leg-tugging little sibling @things-about-cars-in-posts
- @tumblehcendrum
I've been doing some soul searching and exploring and ended up discovering this incredible 1968 Mustang in the woods.

See: inner taillight edge, edges of license plate recess, wiper direction, glass latch under the wiper, window border shape.
It is a third generation BMW X5 (2013-2018, known as F15).
