The Love Experiment
Experiment AU!
WoozixReader!
Word Count:+2.8K
Warnings: Cursing
A/N: I should be finishing my final papers but instead I did this... send help.
Everyone sat in the auditorium, eagerly waiting for the presenter to take the stage. Jihun was known for the most exciting speeches. This year was no different. They knew he wasn’t going to fail them this time. Soon the room lights as dimmed down as the stage lights were all focused on him. His stage presence was so... dominating. It didn’t need to beg for attention, instead is naturally grabbed the eyes of everyone.
That’s all Jihun needed. He walked down to the middle of the stage and looked behind to make sure his powerpoint wasn’t on yet. He believed in the element of surprise was more important.
Here goes nothing, he thought.
“Love. It makes people happy and crazy. It has the birds singing and the people grasping for it at every moment. However, is it really a magical moment that happens like the movies?” He paused, adding effect. “No, it’s fucking not.”
Everyone jumped at his accusation.
Jihun smiled, he hoped for that very reaction. He continued, “Well you all know that the process of falling in love is simple. It’s the series of chemicals that have us feeling euphoric and... well other things. What I’m here to talk about in this series is about an experiment that I conducted last year. With the social experiment, I used thousands of volunteers but I’m going to only explain 1 case tonight. It’s the very special case of a close somebody.”
The clock was ticking. It was the only thing making noise in the otherwise silent room. Jihun was watching how you reacted to the silent, since it scared most future patients away. This experiment needed the best of the best, Jihun thought.
However, you were still comfortable as ever.
If anything, it worried him on how unfazed you were acting.
“So, when are you going to interview for this?” You asked, suppressing all the anxiousness that was building up inside. The only thing that kept you from completely breaking down was the only thing that college students are thinking of...
Money.
This whole thing was paying you enough to stay financially stable until the next experiment science has to offer. You needed it since recently your roommate had hit you with the moving out card, leaving you with not enough time to find a new roommate and left you instead with a new found debt. It was a terrible move from their part, but luckily you saw the flyer for this project and decided that you were healthy, young, and ready for anything crazy.
Jihun shifted in his seat and nodded, beginning the interview. He watched as you answered everything quickly, creating a rhythm in how everything was going. He was interest on how quickly you took control of everything. Your answers were unpredictable and show
Surprisingly, he liked it.
So much that decided to do something crazy.
“Well, Miss (y/n), you seem to be a perfect candidate for our project. I will email you later tonight and explain what you will be doing as a patient.” The both of you stood up and Jihun led you over to the exit of the office. He explained that you wouldn’t end up with any psychological problem and that it’s a simple process. Before he let you completely leave, he pulled out his hand. You were a bit taken aback from this but shook his hand. You looked at him and that’s when it happened.
The sparks.
You suppressed the feeling and continued to act unfazed. All you could think was about how you are connecting with the experimenter and how wrong this was. You searched for any reaction from his part, but he remained just as calm.
Before the any of you realized, you both were still holding each others hand. You quickly let go and apologized to Jihun, who in turn was smiling. It was going according to plan, he thought.
He watched as you walked out of the building, almost too fast.
-Present time-
“See, I introduced the patient with their new found partner. They both had completely opposite type personalities in every way. From the MBTI to their intelligences. The question was, how was science going to prove that only a few steps need to be followed to trigger the chemical change to have them believe their falling in love?” Jihun stated. He smiled, glancing at everyone and watched as his eyes fell on you. He visually tensed up, choking a bit on the suffocating hair.
He tried to pull himself back together, he was still in front of an audience.
“It’s a simple process really, when you first meet someone. You want hold their hand longer than expected and maintain eye contact. While that seems simple, there’s a specific time your suppose to maintain it for before it completely makes the situation awkward. Can anyone guess-”
“3 seconds.” Your voice announced. All eyes soon fell on you and you watched as Jihun struggled to maintain his cool and collected persona. It was your time for a rebuttal. “3 seconds is how long your suppose to maintain in physical and eye contact.”
“Yes that’s correct, thank you miss...”
“(y/n).” You replied, but quietly added, “but you already knew that.”
“Good, so in doing that. He was asked to add moments between him and the patient, creating a longer time. With this, he establish a relationship and created a process where the further increase each moment longer and longer. In turn, the patient believed that they were falling deep in love.”
You were sitting across Jihun.
He decided to meet up at a nearby coffee shop since he was a master student at your university. It was quite odd, because he kept finding time to meet up with you. He asked about how you were and seemed to be trying to get to know you.
It felt oddly nice.
He was funny and seemed awkward at first, but after some time with you, the chemistry from before began to happen. Jihun was relieved for two reasons. One, because he needed to have this experiment work. Two, because he wanted to know you.
He just couldn’t believe that you wanted to meet him again after the first time. One coffee date turned into 10 and soon found yourself meeting with him more often than you thought.
Although, you still wondered when the experiment would start.
He talked about things that were going on, and kept you interested in the conversation. It felt like you were a couple, but you weren’t complaining about it. You like spending time with him, because he would hold your hand constantly and refuse to let it go. It was adorable really because he was surprisingly touchy.
He said he loved knowing you were there.
The dates became more intimate, and that’s when he finally gathered up the courage to kiss you.
It was after one of your dinner dates. Everything seemed to be going well and you were getting a little impatient for him to finally kiss. Jihun decided to drop you off at your front door. He noticed how often you were not so subtly glancing down at his lips. It made him smile, because of how impatient you were getting. That’s when he decided to finally break wall he had built and kissed you.
It felt so... beautiful. It wasn’t a magical moment nor something like the daydreams of high schoolers, but it felt like it was moment you wouldn’t forget.
The indimating man was so sweet and kind to you. There wasn’t a moment that you didn’t love being with him. Sure, he was very work-oriented and more serious but you knew that he had his ways of showing affection. Whether it be working in the same room with you or reading to you the stuff he was working on and asking your opinion.
You loved him for it.
His small little smiles when you were teasing him about being serious were so gorgeous. He also loved it when you ran your fingers through his hair after a long day, telling him that he worked hard and that he did a good job.
He was so soft sometimes, but it was something only you knew. it was a secret you kept to yourself.
A memorable moment was a small one. It was a time where Jihun had come from work a decided to visit you at night. A patient was causing him a hard time and all he wanted to do was get away from them. He seemed frustrated and stress, so you helped him destress by forcing him to watch an emotional movie with you. At first, he didn’t want to, but by the end the both you were holding each other and complaining about all the shit of life.
It was just your way of making him feel comfortable.
-Present time-
Jihun glanced at the slide that was on the screen, feeling his heart break a bit as he felt the anger radiating from you. What if he hadn’t lied? What if he had stopped the project and allowed himself to feel what he felt. Would it be worth it? Would you still feel the hurt of the experiment?
He wished he could back.
He shook himself out of his thoughts, “It wasn’t until the end that the actor had to reveal the truth, and in it we had them take a questionnaire, revealing their feelings and how they believed they fell in love.”
A hand soon was raised and both you and Jihun were surprised. It was a classmate of your. You recognized her from some of your classes as the one always asking some of the craziest questions. For whatever reason, you were glad she was going to ask a question.
“What happened after? I mean feeling were clearly involve. If the patient fell in love and it seemed that method worked. That must have meant that the actor also fell in love,” she stated.
Jihun tensed up at the unexpected question. Why hadn’t he thought of an ending to the story? Given that students want closure, he forgot.
“Uh... well... to be honest that’s a part of the story that I don’t have. When the experiment ended, they had a choice to make things work out. Love may not be a magical moment like the movies, but it does give us the choice to make it feel magical. Ever patient that was a part of the experiment realized that, and learned that it’s a choice and not a feeling. Feeling can come and go but choosing to love some past those feelings is real love.”
You watched as his eyes fell on you, “I figured that feeling out when I met that certain someone as well. A very close person, whom I love dearly despite everything.” He smiled. His eyes fell back on the audience. They searched around for you, but you stayed hidden away. How would they react if they knew that a student stole the heart of their speaker?
Jihun was a serious man, and had a cold side that hurt anyone who felt it, including you.
At first, Jihun was saying that he was getting busy with work and couldn’t come around more often. Then there were other excuses that followed until the days where he hadn’t answered any text or call.
You didn’t know what you did wrong. Was it something you said or something you did? There wasn’t a moment where you saw him get upset.
It wasn’t until the night he randomly showed up that you finally got a hint of what was going on. At first, you thought it was break-up, but the sad look in his eyes said something else.
The moment Jihun saw you, he wanted to grab you and hug you so tightly as if the world was going to end. This wasn’t something that he wanted to end. Your love was something that he felt was worth it all. However, he knew how hurt you were going to be, so why not avoid the whole talk and cut off ties?
He walked in and sat you down like the first time you met. A silence had fell in the room again, but this time it felt too heavy. There wasn’t any clock that sang to the room, nor any mystery to each other.
It was a painful moment instead of a new beginning.
Jihun had pulled out some paperwork for you and explained that the experiment time was over and that you as the patient had to have a final interview to finish off the final paperwork.
That’s when a harsh reality had set in. Jihun had used you and the whole relationship for the experiment. It made you wonder if anything he felt was real, or was he just that harsh of a person?
Jihun had been waiting for the right time to mention the experiment. How the hell does one do this? It like the cliche moment you see in love stories, but this was real life. His heart was a stake, because you had become something bigger than a project.
He sighed, “I’m sorry... I need you to keep yourself together as I conduct the final interview. Any final comments after can be said after we finish.”
As much as you wanted to argue, you agreed to the terms and held yourself together throughout the interview. He had asked detailed questions about how you felt and when you believed you fell in love with him. It felt to painful to even remember those moments. To think how naive you were to the truth.
Jihun turned off the recording and watched as you collapsed into tears. He tried to comfort you and wanted to tell you the truth but you pushed him away. “Go away, get out! I don’t want to see you anymore!” You lied. You didn’t want him gone, nor did you really hate him.
You wondered how hard it must have been for him to hold this secret for so long. How hurt he must been feeling at the moment. All your thoughts were wondering about him. Even though he hurt you, you still care about him. You didn’t stop loving him for something like this.
You wished he knew how much you wanted him to stay.
However, Jihun never did learn that sometimes you meant the opposite sometimes. You watched as Jihun gathered his things and walked out of the room for what felt like the last time.
-Present time-
All the students applauded Jihun for his presentation and began to make their way out of the auditorium. You sat there, waiting for Jihun to notice you one last time. You swore to yourself that this was going to be the last time before you completely let go of him.
That’s what you wanted to believe.
Jihun finished gathering his things and glanced around the room one last time when his eyes fell on you. Instead of a glare or scowl, you smiled. His heart skipped a beat and he forced himself to face back down. He didn’t want you to see his face becoming flushed.
You walked down to the stage and prepared yourself what you thought was the last time for you and Jihun. You didn’t want it to be. Instead, you wanted to be doting on Jihun for giving a beautiful presentation and laugh with him about his beginning.
“You did really good up there.” You announced. He glanced back up and felt himself become so hopeful. You hadn’t changed much, but you were still so beautiful in his eyes.
“Thank you, I was really excited to talk about it... i guess.” He hated the small talk. He wanted to know how you were doing and so much more, but he was stuck in this hell because of the decisions he made.
He wondered if you still hated him for his actions.
The both of you were stuck standing awkwardly on stage, trying to find something to talk about. However, all you could think of was of him admitting that he still loved you. “You... you uh mentioned earlier something about-”
He blushed, “ah that! Right, I did mention that in front of hundreds of people.”
You smiled. Jihun was never good about talking about his feeling. You knew that, and also knew that sometimes you were the one who was having to push it out of him.
“Jihun... I came up here thinking this was going to be my last time seeing you but you are someone I wanna keep seeing everyday again.” You watched as the shy boy looked over to you with this new found spark. “I know we had this project hurt us, but I want to try again. A new beginning really.”
“As long as I get to prove that I still love you.” He muttered. He reached for you hand and felt your warm hand intertwine with his. It felt so right to him. Maybe Jihun didn’t get the tight hug and passionate kiss like he wanted, but he just glad that he was getting another chance with you.

Terrible Little Things
Summary: You were far from terrible, you were amazing.
Word Count:+1K
Warnings: so depressing... death
A/N: I don’t know where this came from but this was in the spur of the moment. I’m so sorry.
Dear my love,
“They can’t do anything.”
“They’re so awkward and rude.”
Those were the first few words I heard about before I actually met you. There was more said about you but I ignored it all. I hated all the bad things said and I wanted nothing more than to stop them from saying those things, but what could I do? I couldn’t beat up everyone in the school.
However, I could make you feel loved.
I remember the moment I met you. You were eating lunch in the hallway, slightly crying but still eating your sandwich angrily. It was the most oddly adorable thing I had ever seen. I had recognized you from the chemistry class that the both of us shared. To be honest, I had this tiny little crush on you. You were so beautiful and so sweet, how did no one else see you the way I did?
To this very day, I didn’t know why but I sat next to you.
I didn’t realize that it was going to be such a life changer. The look of surprise that was painted all over your face when I did sit next to you. I remember you were trying to talk to me but you still have a mouthful of sandwich in your mouth that you choked. I did the thing that you do for people that are choking and we saw the sandwich go flying. It was such a... well such a you moment.
I found myself falling in love with you so quickly. Was it your quirky personality? Maybe even the fact that you were awkward sometimes? I didn’t know what it was but I was just glad that I was yours and you were mine.
I loved your humming and your carelessness. You would be so content in whatever you were doing, no matter how hard it. I remember in chemistry, how carelessly you were mixing all the chemicals together and how we ended up having to evacuate because it turned into a noxious gas.
Then there was the time where you fell during graduation, on stage when receiving your diploma. I remember hearing you talk about it all night and how embarrassed you were about it, and then I started making you laugh about it.
I was the one who always helped you laugh about all the embarrassing moments. I’m glad I was, because you learned to smile more when it came to it. You didn’t cry that much anymore. No more angrily eating sandwiches and being so worried all the time.
You showed me so much more though.
You showed me that perfection wasn’t perfect. That every awkward moment and that I didn’t need each date to go perfect. Maybe we missed our reservations for dinner or the car didn’t work that morning, but you were still so... mindful of all the other things. You would say that maybe we would have gotten food poisoning from the food or that we were saving gas by skipping work that morning. These crazy thought would come out of nowhere, but you were right in every way.
There’s not a day where I don’t miss it.
Sometimes I wish I could still your everyday humming around the house and even see hear your wild thoughts of the day. Our child won’t get to hear those types of things.
Now they’ll only hear the stories from me.
Sometimes I wonder what you’ll say about this situation, “Maybe you were meant to raise our baby alone?” or “Our child has had enough time with me”. I don’t think I’ve had enough time with you. I wished I had more time with you.
Today is the day where I have the choice to take out the breathing tube. I’m writing because that’s what my therapist says is the right thing to do. To let out all these emotions and all this stress.
Ever since disease is has been getting worse, you never felt far away. You were so positive until the day they put you into the breathing tube. I wondered how the hell I managed to stay in the room that day. I remember you were struggling so much and yet you were still smiling. After they placed you into that coma, they finally told me that were never going to come back.
To this day, I still can’t believe it.
And right now, I can’t even believe you’re not there in that bed awake. I’m trying my hardest to believe that we’re home right now, and that you’re sleeping away in that bed at home.
But I can’t with the sound that breathing machine is making.
I miss you baby. I don’t want to do this alone. I want you with me. Waking up together everyday and surviving everyday together because that’s what we’ve done together. Old habits are hard to stop, and I don’t want to stop my habit of having you.
I want to see your eyes open again and just looking at me like you did at our wedding. I remember how beautiful you look. You were shining so much when you were walking down the aisle, the dress was gorgeous but you were far more beautiful. You were so excited that you kept tripping every other step because of the dress. By the time you go up to me, I was laughing with you. I couldn’t stop staring at you the whole time, because I felt like the most luckiest guy in the world to be with you.
No one else could have you, and I had the ring to prove it.
The doctors came in... they say 10 more minutes and I don’t want it to be that way.
Your family is with me in the room now, everyone is so sad and I know you hate it. I could hear it already, you’re trying to crack a joke and trying so hard not cry yourself because I know how much you wanted to do so much in the world.
We had plans to travel the world together, to search for the random treasures the world had. You had so much to offer this world. So many ideas and so much love to give to everyone. This doesn’t feel fair. All the people who were so mean to you, they get to live so long, but the world is losing you .
I love you so much, but I knew you felt all my love. I made sure you did. I made sure I never failed you in that sense because I knew you deserved all the love in the world. You still do, because you’re always with me. Anyways, I’ll see you later baby.
I love you,
Lee Minho.

They’re Back
Demon Hyunjin! x WitchReader!
SoulmateAU!
Angst/little bit of Fluff
Summary: Everything went wrong, and there was nothing you could do about now.
Word Count:+2.1K
Warnings:Cursing and death (non-major characters)
A/N: I was really inspired by my nightmares and by the Stephen King movie Pet Sematary teaser (it doesn’t mean it’s gonna be exactly like it). I really am a sad little bear sometimes
They were screaming, all of them were. Some from pain, others from of fear that circulated their blood. They just wouldn’t stop screaming. However, it seemed to be the only thing grounding you. It was the only thing reminding you that this was really happening
It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. This wasn’t how it was supposed to be. The cries of fear from your family echoed through the walls of the house. You hid in your room, right in the closet under all the clothes you piled on yourself. You tried to save them before he could find them but he came too quick. Every spell had failed you, no matter how much of your own soul you pour into it.
So, you left them to deal with the monster.
You covered your mouth with your hand to cover your sobbing. Your body shook from the fear. You did everything right and didn’t mess up even a single word on the spell. How come he ended up like this? How did he become such a... monster.
All you wanted was Hyunjin back.
They screams went silent and you could imagine the scary scene that awaited you down stairs. His footsteps began to approach closer to you, making your heart jump with each step. It wasn’t until they stopped that you realized that he was standing in front of the closet door. You held your breath, hoping that the silence was enough to tell him that you weren’t there.
“(Y/N). Get up.” He demanded with a hoarse voice. His body wasn’t used to be reanimated. He had only be up for 2 hours. “You have to see what you did eventually.” He mentioned. He waited a bit, but seeing that you still weren’t going to move, he continued to talk. “I can’t hurt you because of the damn spell. It doesn’t allow me.”
That was enough to coax you out of your hiding spot.
Your body was still shaken and you could only imagine the horrors that others were dealing with.
“How many more?”
“Wh-”
“How many fucking more did I cause?”
He sighed, “8 others. All exes really, because you don’t know how to read a fucking book.”
8 other people were that reanimated. Other people were there dealing with the monsters YOU created. You couldn’t help but start crying again. All you and your friends wanted was to have their loved ones back again. After the car accident that happened, you couldn’t bare the heartbreak of losing Hyunjin. So as a witch, you decided to find anything you could to bring him back. Even if it mean dealing your soul to the devil or whatever. You didn’t think you would create him to be the monster. His eyes used to be a warm brown eyes, but they were replaced with a crimson red that felt so unfamiliar to you.
“I’m so sorry Hyunjin, I-I thought this was going to bring you back they way you were,” you sobbed. No matter how much you tried to convince yourself, you knew your apologies wouldn’t work.
Not ever again.
He sighed, “No, it didn’t. Because of you, I’m a demon now. There’s nothing we can do about it now.”
In this moment, you regretted everything you had done, even to the point where you wished you had never met the boy stole your heart.
-2 months before-
Everything was perfect.
All your friends were happy with their marriages and their partners.
And so were you.
There wasn’t anything that could stop you and Hyunjin from being together. You saw all the signs, and you knew what it was. It was destiny binding you both together. Why fight it?
He perfectly made for you. Of course he was because you had willed it that way. The way your hand fit perfectly with his and how his voice seemed to much like sweet honey to your ears. Magic hadn’t failed you now.
You did everything possible to bring him to you. Every flower and candle used to bring your soulmate near you. You weren’t going to wait for a tattoo or a time to tell you when the perfect time was.
The perfect time was now.
Hyunjin laid back against the chair that was a part of your study corner. You were nearby your window, tending to the flowers that were decorating the area, capturing the sunlight that seeped through the window. It was normal for him to just hang around your house while you stayed busy finishing your chores around the house. It seemed boring, but he said he liked watching you at your natural state. He liked see how content you were with the flowers and how well you worked with that green thumb of yours.
Hyungjin knew about your lifestyle, and all the bad stuff that comes with it. At first, he was a little skeptical of it. Any would, because when people hear the word witch, they think of all the ones depicted in movies and shows.
It was nothing like it really. Well to you.
Your family only did things to help the people around them like creating spells to help with ailments or little potions to help concentrating better. You always wanted to do more of the crazy stuff but your family warned you not to.
So you stuck to the potion making part of it.
The way you got Hyungjin to become not so skeptical about it was when you show him the spell to change eye color. It was really lame but it surprised him, so much so that he played around with it a lot. Every now and then, you could hear him muttering the words to himself and looking at himself in the mirror to see if he could do it. It always brought a smile to your face.
“Earth to (Y/N)!”
You shook yourself out of your thoughts and glanced over to your adorable boyfriend.
“Hey, the guys just texted me about this trip they’ve been wanting to go to. It’s a small camping trip. Do you want to go?” He asked.
You smiled, “I would love to, but I have some stuff to finish this weekend. Why don’t you just make it a guys type of thing?” Something in your gut was sunken down, almost as warning that something bad was going to come out of that sentence.
However, you shrugged it off.
He thanked you for the idea and began to make plans for his friends. They decided to leave that Friday and come back Sunday. You made each of them a small little potion of safety and saw them off as they drove away that Friday. The same feeling that you felt before came back stronger, and proved that it didn’t want to be ignored.
You told your friends about it, and they seemed to tell you that it was probably you worrying. It wasn’t uncommon for you to get nervous and scared that bad things were going to happen. So, you listened.
It wasn’t until Sunday afternoon that a phone call from Hyunjin’s parents came through.
It was a car accident.
It was the first time that you ever cried like that. You had never felt such a heavy pain, except in that moment. Your parents had come running in and watched as your crumbled down into a hollow shell of yourself. They saw the light in your eyes disappear. The following morning, all the flowers seemed to wilt in morning of your late boyfriend.
All you ever did for three days were lay in bed and sleep. Only to wake up to use the restroom or drink water, but nothing else. All your friends had seemed to cope in their own ways as well when they heard the news of their loved ones passing away. Some sleeping away like you were, and others working on school or coping in their own ways.
It wasn’t until one of them had come to you, begging on their knees for you to use magic to bring their boyfriend back. The desperation in their eyes and the sympathy you felt.
If you were going to bring him back for her, it would work as well for Hyunjin, you thought.
How wrong you were.
-Present time-
Your phone hadn’t stop going off from all the calls. Your friend panicked and their deaths being blamed on you. It had heard it all ever since whatever this is had started.
A part of you grew to stop caring about it. It was up to everyone to figure this out. You had your own demon to handle now.
He watched you from you bed as you paced around, searching through all the books and anything you’ve studied that could help with this. You could feel his eyes study your every movement. His presence was oozing with this dark aura, you knew he wanted to kill. That’s all demons were there for anyways, to take human’s souls. You were no exception to this, but your soulmate binding was preventing him from doing it.
You shook off the feeling and found the book where you got the spell from. It was an fairly old leather bound book that seemed so out of place on your shelf. You searched for the page in which it explained the spell and talked about the effects of it. The book explained,
Soulmates with demons is different compared human to human. Human to human soulmates work as a beneficial type of relationship. Both people are there because they get the benefit of receiving love and also have someone who understands their souls. However, with demons, the human because a source of energy. The demon uses their energy and doesn’t have to give the emotional aspect of the soul binding to them.
You frowned at the paragraph. Had you read this and thought about what you were doing instead of being hasty, you would have saved yourself all of this. You could have saved your family and your friends of all this pain.
“This is why I was so weary for your magic, because of this stuff. The bringing people back to life and the sacrifices you do to do it.” Hyunjin muttered.
His whole persona had changed since he’s been back. Instead of the sweet boy you loved, he was now so blunt and witty. It felt like all that he was holding back was now being released. It hurt more than you ever thought, because all the things that you never thought bothered him... really did. In a way, it made you regret a lot.
“Should I just let you go and do whatever the hell you want to do?”
Hyunjin stopped what he was doing and glanced at you. It seemed like it was the answer he was waiting for, but now hearing it, he didn’t like how it felt. He thought about how lonely you would feel if he did leave. Your family was gone and you were left alone to deal with all the damage that you had caused.
“No,” He glanced back down at his feet, “I... I like being around you stiil.”
You frowned, “but I made you into this monster. I mess up! I messed up everything and now you’re stuck in this form. Everyone is and they’re stuck until they die or one of us die! How do I live with this? How do I live with knowing that I killed my family and everyone else’s families? All you guy want now is to take souls and to be demons. We are nothing to you guys now, the book says it! And.. and I... I don’t how to deal with this.” You crumbled down to the ground and began to sob.
Everything was perfect for the accident, and you wanted to make things like before then. this wasn’t beforehand, and nothing was ever going to be. Your family was gone and now your friends possibly hated you. It felt like you were the loneliest person on the planet.
You felt arms wrap around you and pull you tightly to their chest. It scared you out of your dark thoughts and brought you back to reality. Their body was so warm, and their fingers running through your hair was so calming. Hyunjin kissed the top of your head and pulled you closer to him.
He missed hold you like this. He remembered how he felt when he died, how quickly it all seemed to go, but his thoughts went to you. How you were going to react to him getting hurt or even dying from it. Even when he was on the verge of death, he missed you. The smile that always decorated your face to the small habits you had, he missed it all. He remembered when the ambulance had come to pick him up, all he kept asking was for you. He wanted you to be there next to him, whispering your small little spells that you would be begging to work and to be holding his hand so tightly. All he need was you next to him to make it through it all, but it never happened.
He wished this all never happened, but he was glad to have you back in his arms again.

Screen Protector
SeokminxModelFemale!Reader (Mentionings of other groups)
Part 1
Fluff (crackish as well)
Summary: Video games bring people together. Who ever tells you they don’t, clearly hasn’t played a good game.
Word Count: +3.1K
Warnings: Cursing
A/N: I’m sorry i don’t know much about LOL besides of what my ex has taught me. Also, when the chat is italicized, they’re on a call. When it’s bold, it’s texting! (It only is meant for the group chat, but not for other characters)
Video games are a way to destress, have a fun time, and a way to make new friends. They bring out different thing about a person. How competitive they get, or how quickly they willing to break any alliance they have when it come to the final round. No bitterness there, none at all.
It seemed to be the only way you could escape your busy life. After all those moments in front of the camera and the adoring fans, you always seemed to coming running home to your computer. No matter what time it was, you had to play, even if it was almost the crack of dawn.
It first started off as curiosity. You saw some of your friends where going to gaming cafes or playing it when you hung out. It was frustrating because you had no experience with these types of things. Your fingers would always cramp up from the way you were holding them and your reflexes seemed to be lacking compared to others.
That’s when you became determined to kick everyone’s ass.
You could remember the days before you were scouted. It was the best time because all you did was get better. First it was RPG games, then it was FPS games, and then you finally got hooked on League of Legends.
In that moment, the world finally realized they fucked up.
You began to play the game consistently, farming up points and skills, allowing you to climb up the leaderboard. Soon you figure out that there was a pre-season to the game, so you prepared yourself for it. The season started and you were on a roll at this point.
Your social group has realized the terrible fate that held you hostage.
They tried getting you to stop playing and tried get you outside. However, you put up a good fight, before they completely kidnapped you in your sleep and forced you outside.
If it weren’t for them, you would have never been scouted by the company that now manages your career as a model.
It leaves you to where you are now, in a tiny but beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. Some would think that you have it because you have the money for it, but in all honesty, you’re just worried about being kidnapped if you had a normal apartment. It nearly happened one too many times.
Your feet were aching from the heels you wore and the make-up on your face was starting to feel a little too heavy for you. No matter how much you tried to get used to the model life, it was quite difficult. You felt that sometimes it was hard to be yourself with a job like this.
All everyone was doing was covering you, the pile of mess, with a blanket and expensive stuff.
Your phone rang, and you saw that your group was online and waiting for you.
DK97: Hurry up!!! We’re waiting for you!!!
You smiled as you threw on whatever comfortable clothes you could find, grabbed the make-up wipes, and sat down in front of your little corner dedicated to your hobby. You quickly signed in and found that everyone had been waiting for you on the group call.
BHHM8: Where have you been?! You said 8pm the latest!!!
KSJ030: At least she made it on time for the game!!
DK97:Hush!!!! I’m preparing myself mentally for this!
You chuckled a bit, soon grabbing your headset and finally joined in the chat.
1Reder:Oh hush up all of you. You guys are just glad that the strongest player is here.
BHHM8:So close on kicking you out.
1Reder:bET
KSJ030:Both of you, SHUT UP! WE’RE STARTING!!!!!
All of you began to scream in sync as the round started. Yes, you were those people that made sure to be as extra as possible. It’s how you bonded. You began to shout on where to attack and what should be the next move. The other members began to follow and let out battle cries that only the Gods could understand.
It wasn’t until about an hour later that the match ended. After a good fight, you found your team gaining another victory. It was something everyone needed tonight. You glanced over to you clock and found it sat 11:30 pm. You frowned, glancing back to your screen.
1Reder: Hey, I might have to leave early this time.
A paused entered the chat, it felt heavy.
BHHM8: We had a feeling... but luckily you’re not the only one this time.
You smiled a bit, glad that the one teammate you butted heads with was being sort of nice. These were the only few people that you felt comfortable with. They knew when you had tough and good days. They cheered you on in your victories and sort of became family.
It bothered you that you couldn’t tell them about what you do for a living.
You made a name for yourself, being a very popular model in the city. It felt like everyone wanted a piece of you, but how were you going to say no when they gave you the money to live in such an expensive world? It scared you to think that they were going to be the same, even after everything.
KSJ030: Glad I’m not the only one. I got shit to do tomorrow.
1Reder: I feel like you’re just trying to feel as important, be honest. You’re gonna play a different gAME WITHOUT US AGAIN!
KSJ030: THaT WAs oNE TimE!!
DK97:The wound is still so fresh... The betrayal is real.
BBHM8: Vote to kick his ass out?
1Reder: I
DK97: I
KSJ030: WHAT?! You guys can suck my big toe.
1Reder: Jinnie, you know were only joking!!! You complete us!
KSJ030: I’ve be criticized for who i am, a human being that enjoys playing video games. NOW I’LL be the first to HANG UP THIS DAMN CALL!!!
His number quickly dropped and everyone bursted out in laughter from the dramatic man’s behavior. Most people would think that he was furious, but all of you knew that he was only playing and that he was really leaving to sleep. It was already late, and he said his roommates gets annoyed because he stays up so often.
You glanced over to the clock and sighed in defeat. There wasn’t a way to live out your fantasy of playing LoL all day and keep this career of yours. Reality simply wasn’t allowing you. You gathered yourself quickly.
1Reder: I’m gonna join Jinnie on this one. I have to go too now. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow.
With that a wave of goodbyes followed and you logged off from virtual life. For some reason, it felt sad to say bye to everyone.
Your history with your close friends was interesting. The first time you had encountered their clan, there was a bit of a misunderstanding about something. You had gotten mad with them. It took awhile for you to realized that it was wrong people.
After long apologies, you joined their clan.
Within the first day, everyone had agreed to keep themselves anonymous and to just be good internet friends. Sure, it was great and all but there times where you wanted to know them in person.
It was all because everyone wanted to be your friend in real life. Fame brings all the wrong people. There are the ones that want to take pieces of you everytime they’re around you and others that just want you for the name. It made you kind of scared about everyone, because sometimes people were good at hiding their true intentions. However, the clan knew the real you. They knew how crazy you were under the well decorated mask. Sure, you expected nerds behind the screen but sometimes you felt like they were like you. Famous people who wanted nothing more than true friendship.
Maybe you were over thinking all of this, you thought. You quickly prepared yourself for bed and passed out before you could think any further.
The morning quickly came around and you prepared yourself for the driver coming around. There wasn’t a need to put on makeup or anything, so instead you wore causal type clothing. You said your good mornings to the driver and hid yourself in the back of the car. The drive felt long but once you arrived, the set was where everyone seemed to be rushing around. You took a quick glance at your phone and found that everyone in the group chat had woken up and seemed to be talking randomly. A small little smile began to itch at your lips, but you quickly suppressed it. You knew if you joined in, your true self would appear in front of everyone. So you ignored the chat and forced yourself to look unfazed.
The driver escorted you out of the back of the car. You glanced around the set, seeing cameras and lights decorate the place. It was a cute place. It seemed to ooze out the feelings of a first date. It made you little sad but you ignored it. Instead you were led to your dressing room by your manager. They explained that this was a music video was about a secret love between a model and each member. They said it was for a group called SEVENTEEN. Your person was Lee Chan or Dino. He was around your age, so they thought the “chemistry” would work better. You quietly nodded and sat at the chair where they prepared you.
You saw the sad look on your manager’s face. You knew he did this so you would make friends and be happy again, but he knew how scared you were. Of course, if he were in your shoes, he would be too. It’s scary that every time you made friends that they would use you. How does one say no when all they want is to be loved for who they are. He knew about your nerdy habits and who you really were, and he still appreciated you.
In a way, he was one of the few close friends that you had. He managed your career but he always tried his best to keep you comfortable and happy too.
While you getting ready, someone else had walked into the room. A young boy who seemed to be one of the members of the group. He was already dressed up, and they seemed to do a beautiful job on getting him to boyfriend material. (Not like they weren’t already, but that’s your thoughts)
“Ah! You must be (Y/N)! I’m Lee Seokmin, one of the beautiful voices of SEVENTEEN.” He stated. His smile was beautiful, contagious even. God, how is he not chased around, or even taken by someone? However, his voice seemed oddly familiar but your couldn’t place your finger on it. Maybe it from a song you heard at a store probably. “Oh. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Are you excited?”
“I guess so.” You faked a smile. No matter how happy of a person he was, you still didn’t know him. It’s always the ones you least expect that hurt you the most.
“You don’t seem like it.”
You quickly tensed up and sighed. He had caught you.
“Uh...,” you turned around and faced him completely, “Look, I don’t wanna come off as an ass but I just don’t want to deal with celebrities that only care about themselves looking good for the camera.” You glanced over to your manager who seemed to be interested in the conversation. Why wasn’t the man helping you out of this?
You were starting to grow a bit nervous. It felt like he was looking for you, not at you. Could he see the facade that you were wearing? Maybe even see more than that?
“Maybe you should try to give us a try,” he mentioned.
You chuckled a bit out of nervousness, “You’re cute Seokmin.” Then came out the words you never expected yourself to say, “Maybe I will, just for you.”
His face started to blush. You caught him off guard this time, and he liked it.
As soon as you were finished, Seokmin accompanied you down to the set and you seemed to talk naturally. His personality was really charming to you. You couldn’t help but have a good time with him. He was so funny and seemed so interested in a lot of the things you had to say. Some might have confused you for a couple (not that you were saying it’s a bad thing, but I digress). He stayed with you until it was his turn with his partner came, that’s when he had to leave. You found yourself taking the chance to look over to the group chat.
DK97: So i met someone today
KSJ030: DetAiLS
DK97: I’LL TELL YOU GUYS LATER
You smiled a bit, he deserved love.
1Reder: YO CONGRATS
BBHM8: WHAT IS GOING ON?! Am I next?! LET ME FIND LOVEEE
You couldn’t help but laugh at your friend’s desperation, which caught the attention of other members. They quickly recognized you as the model that was all around the city. Your face decorated billboards with brands that you endorsed... which was a lot. They watched as you seemed to smile in content with whatever was on your phone. It wasn’t until Seokmin was done with filming that they saw how you lighted up and put away your phone.
That’s when they realized what was going on.
“How did you like my acting skills?” He joked.
You laughed, “They might need some work, but you were cute enough to pass it off better than a dumbass.” That’s when you tensed up again. You slipped up, you thought. Instead of him being disgusted, he continued to joke around with you. He liked it and you.
However, you still were so guarded. He saw how nervous you were on making some of the jokes and watching how he reacted. He knew it was gonna take time to get you out of your shell, but it was time that he was willing to put in.
Soon you left to start your filming and Seokmin was left admiring you. He tried to look at his phone, but Hoshi and Seungkwan approached him before he could.
“So you and (Y/N)?" Seungkwan started.
He glanced at his two friends and smiled, "No, I'm trying to make her comfortable, you know?"
"That flirting says something else though." Hoshi winked at him.
Instead of denying it, he just sighed. "I can't be thinking like that, you know? It's not fair to her to try this earlier. It gives her the impression that i think, 'oh my god shes this big celebrity, dating her means I grow in popularity!'"
"Well, it's good that you're going out and making her feel safe," Hoshi reassured him. "I wonder what she'll think about your gaming problem."
"SHHHH,"Seokmin quickly covered his mouth and glanced around to see if you were lurking anywhere, "We don't talk about that in front of the pretty girl," he whispered. His actions only made his friends start laughing. For the rest of the time, he and friends began to talk about other things and Seokmin waited for you to come back.
He waited and waited, and when he saw Chan eating over by the food table, that's when he approached the younger member. He smiled and asked, “Hey Chan, do you where your partner happened to leave to after your shoot?”
He thought about it for a bit, “All she said was that she has an important meeting and then said goodbye.”
It was true, you did have an important meeting... with LoL and your friends. Sure you felt bad that you left them all behind so quickly but you felt so drained after. You wanted to be 100% there for Seokmin if you ever saw him again. He was cute and definitely your type of guy but you didn’t want to get your hopes up for a guy like him. If you were to ever date him, you were afraid he was just that guy who was going to use you for your name. Go out on dates for the paparazzi and only texting when it’s convenient, it’s how it always is with fame.
In this world, everyone uses each other to grow in popularity.
You were doing you and him a favor with discontinuing whatever was going on between the both of you. It was just better to be safe than sorry, you thought. You quickly prepared yourself for a night of gaming. Anything to get these types of hopeful thoughts out of your head. You looked at the group chat and saw BH was desperate for anyone to come back to talk.
BBHM8: Hey guys!
BBHM8: Please someone come back...
BBHM8:Anyone please..........
BBHM8: I’ll send someone pizza if I have to!
BBHM8: I need a girlfriend.
You smiled and began to type,
1Reder: About time you admitted it. Alright guys, let’s found our boy here a woman!
BBHM8: I hate you.
1Reder: I love you too BH <3
Your phone began to vibrate and you glanced at it to find that it was your manager calling you instead of the group chat. It was odd to see him call so suddenly. He would always send you warning text before hand to let you know to pause your games but he went straight for it.
Which slightly concerned you.
You quickly answered it. “Hello?”
“I need to know if I can share your number to your future husband.”
You furrowed your eyebrows, “Future husband? I thought we agreed I would be a lonely animal lady for life? I’ve already prepared the apartment too.” You muttered.
You paused for a moment, who exactly was he talking about though? Seokmin maybe? He was definitely cute and seemed like he wouldn’t mind your dorky self. Maybe you were also getting your hopes to high up. No perfect man can exist.
“Seokmin is your future husband, I thought we figured this out.” He stated. He seemed a bit distracted, almost in a rush.
“Go ahead, but I bet you that he ain’t gonna text me.”
He said his thank you and quickly hung up, leaving you in the dark about why he was doing this. Sometimes you wondered if your manager was using the crack that you were. You thought about asking him later.
You felt your phone vibrate and a wave of panic hit you.
You glanced at the name and you were found by a name that you didn’t want to see. A wave of anger it you and you ignored the wave of text that he hit you with. Every bit of hell and all the heartbreak, just so he could get his chance at fame from you.
Who the hell gave him you new number?

Hoshi, break-up au!
Angst
Word Count: 773
Warnings: Cursing
a/n: Do you ever feel like you go through a break up with your friend is more painful? It’s what it feels like rn.
Word hold so much power to them, it ridiculous really. No matter how strong we think we are, there are words that can destroy every wall we built to protect ourselves.
“I miss you”
His words echoed in your head. It seemed impossible to forget it. All because he seemed almost serious about it. His charming personality could convince anyone, and that’s what held you from completely believing him.
Were you really going to be that person who would believe there ex really missed them? The temptation sat right in front of you, playing with their drink and trying to read you. Their hair was perfectly messy and they dressed up nicely. He politely invited you to coffee. All he told you was that it was to catch up, but you knew better. He wanted you back.
“I,” you swallowed down every bit of fear you held, attempting to make yourself look strong. “I don’t.”
You wanted to scream at yourself once you saw the disappointment on his face. It was a look you hated, because it felt like he was creating new wounds to your heart. It hurt more because you missed and loved him still. He was supposed to be the one to stay with you for life, the one who helped you with every battle, and who comforted you with every hard moment. When he stopped doing all of that, he stopped loving you.
He could miss you, but he doesn’t love you anymore. Anybody could miss anyone, but that’s because of their habits. Texting that person and saying the same words over and over again could become routine again. You didn’t want that, you wanted to be loved by choice.
You took a deep breath, “Soonyoung... you don’t have to force yourself in loving me anymore.” It hurt so much, you felt yourself wanting to wither away from this pain. “Look, I know what you said to the guys. I wanted to believe it wasn’t true, but it was the only thing I could see after that. You... you stopped be happy with me for a long time. You’re just back here because old habit die hard. 2 years was long enough for us.”
You watched as he frowned. He looked out to the window and then back at you. It was sad to see his happy persona gone, looking so sad didn’t suit him. Not with a smile that was so contagious and laugh that truly was music to anyone.
“What if you’re wrong,” he asked? He leaned in and looked at you with all seriousness, “I care about you. Loving you is a choice I made. Loving someone isn’t a feeling, but a lifelong decision. It’s one I made when I said those words to you. I want it to be us in every big moment in our lives, getting married, having a family and growing old. It something I want completely with you.”
You felt your eyes water and your breathing get faster. You just wanted to cry and welcome him back with open arms, but this was the real world, not just some fairytale that gets the happy ending.
“Soonyoung, don’t.” You stood up from your chair and quickly began to grab your things. He followed behind and grabbed your arm. You didn’t look back at him, instead you pulled your arm away from his grip and turned around to him, “You make everything sound so beautiful, it so hard not to believe you.” You wiped away the tears that were falling down.
“But even now, you’re still lying to me.”
You grab the small ring that was hiding away in your pocket, “You didn’t think I find about your fiance of what 5 years? She gave me your engagement to throw at you today.” You took a deep breath, “How could you use me to hurt her? She’s so sweet and loving, and here you are trying to come back to me. You’re so pathetic. You don’t know how to appreciate a good thing.”
You placed the ring on the table that decorated the outside of the shop. “I love you Soonyoung, but you’re just an asshole who’s learned how to say the right things, who figured out how dress like and how to pass off as someone good.”
You were on verge of completely breaking down. Your body shook from the anger and the tears were falling carelessly. He wasn’t worth anymore of this, you decided. Instead of wasting anymore breath on him, you whispered your last few words and walked away from the tiny coffee shop that held far too many memories.

134340 (Jungguk)
Jungguk Imagine (Angst)
Summary: He could be running from you, but in all reality, he’s following you to the end of the universe.
Word Count: 543
Warning: Death
It was official, Jeon Jungguk was one of the craziest people on this ship.
However, he had felt like he was the most sane one out of all the people on it. He didn’t feel as if society had anything against him. He was the guy who could do anything he wanted, marry any person, and was overall blessed with good looks.
Everyone wonders, how did he end up with you?
He laid on his bed, counting the glowing stars on his ceiling. He made sure no one notice them, because he wanted them to be his own little secret that would comfort him. A sad smile broke from his lips, it was you who gave him his only secret. You told him that even in the darkest moments, the stars were still enough light to encourage us out.
No matter how much the world wanted him to be with someone as perfect as he was, he still would have end up with you.
They saw you as imperfect.
You often snorted when you laughed too hard, and you had a terrible habit of forgetting things in odd places. You often read more than you ever talked, and sometimes were a little awkward too. There are so much more imperfections, but he still loved you. All of you, including the imperfections.
You taught him that it didn’t matter, but being a person that loved everyone just the same was the most important thing.
He remembered the times where you would bring the book you were reading, and would read your favorite parts to him. Sometimes he understood it, but most of time he would just be happy to see the excitement in your face when you talked. Then there times where you would do the small things to help people, even if it was just holding the door open for someone. It was beautiful seeing you when you shined, because was brighter than any other star in the universe.
He missed it.
He missed you.
He wondered if you were watching him from pluto, making his way to the planet that you said was your home. “A lonely planet that holds my heart forever,” you would say. Declaring that you were born in the wrong planet, because it seemed that no one understood you the way the planet did.
He understood it. In fact, he loved the way your mind worked. So curious about the world, but so quietly you would figure out so much about everything. You didn’t need words, but rather, you expressed it by your tiny little quirks.
Jungguk promised you that he was going to find you, where ever your home was. It was the only promise he could keep. The forever that was promised was taken away by sickness. He remembered how sick you got and quickly it happened. It felt like it was just yesterday you were laughing and reading, but soon he found you on you’re last moments, hold his hand with the last bit of strength before completely running out of time.
His eyes began to become overwhelmed with tears and he soon found himself crying. He told himself that you were waiting for him on Pluto, so you could spend forever with him.

134340 (V)
V imagine (Angst)
Summary: He knew he was meant for so much more.
Word Count: 472
Warnings: Depression
Everyone seemed to be so hurt by the world.
Taehyung saw the pain filled smiles and the small things they held near and dear to them. It sadden him but he never had anything to hold close to him. He saw how Namjoon would always be holding his phone and how Hoseok put up this old worn out poster of the constellations. It was quite endearing in his eyes. To be holding on to something that was so...
Mundane.
Call him cynical or snobbish, but he knew that if he was going to be apart of this mission, he had to let everything go.
Everything
including himself.
The Taehyung that stayed on earth was always trying so hard to get through it all. People, parents, life itself. It had felt so burdensome to even think about it. He scoffed thinking about the nights where he couldn't sleep, but instead found himself harboring dark thoughts.
It felt impossible to break out of such a mindset, especially when it felt there wasn't a time when he hadn't thought like this. He tried it all. He went and got drunk, read the books, and took the medicine but it only seemed to make it go way for a bit before coming back.
Being cynical felt like the only option. To push other away and to be stuck in a dark room.
It wasn't until he saw a poster by the museum where he work, that he decided that he should escape this planet overall. The poster talked about how they were looking for young adults to give up the rest of their lives to be in a ship that was going to Pluto. He laughed a bit to himself at the time, thinking that the poster was put just for him.
He passed through all the test with such ease and ended up being officially on the small list of people.
He glanced up from the bookshelf and looked out the window. His side of the ship was facing back in the direction of the old blue planet he hated. Earth could blend in well in with all the other stars and planets that decorated the sky. He wondered how he could hate such a planet? How there were moments that connected together that led him to this.
Maybe he was meant to be on this, he thought. His mind was too different for a world that wanted to keep everyone the same. Grow up, get a job, get married, retire, and die. As morbid as it is, it was a harsh truth he came to reality with. It was that routine that scared him into his dark thoughts. He wanted to be different and more than just another person on a planet full of the same people.
Now, he going to be the first different man on a planet that held a deeper meaning.

134340 (Suga)
Suga Imagine (Angst)
Summary: No matter how far he was, he still missed you.
Word Count: 758
Warnings: None
A/N: I really love this song if you can’t tell. I wanted to write one story that included everyone but I didn’t do it in the end. I had to break it up, BUT this is gonna be the first time I do something series like.
Yoongi fell into all of this by accident.
However, he moved forward with it to get back at you.
There were always so many things that could have pushed him to this, but you were the finishing touch to completing it all. The look of anger and betrayal that had decorated your face when he told you the news that he had accepted this mission. He remembered all the painful words that you threw at him and how quickly you fell into the place of being the victim.
It’s how it always started with you.
You had somehow made the situation about you. It wasn’t anything new.
He only applied to the stupid thing to see if he would at least be accepted with credentials. He wanted to see he was smart enough to be apart of something bigger than him. It’s something everyone tries to do at least once in their life. He had hoped that you would at least attempt to encourage him and make even talk him out of it if it really made you uncomfortable... but he should have known. He should have known that everyone was always so selfish behind it all, because that’s what all the world ever was to him.
And it taught him to be the same.
The last days with you were the worst. Arguments were always happening and no matter how much he tried to act civil, it was impossible with the attitude you had. Instead of keeping it up, you gave him the ultimatum of between you or the mission.
He remembered seeing your face grow furious when you heard his answer. You were grabbing everything as quickly as you, and storming out of the building. Not once did he try to stop you, no matter how much he wanted things to go back.
The damage was done, and he knew you were never coming back.
He stayed in the apartment you shared with him. At first, it was hard to be without you. He missed you. It felt as if your ghost had stayed behind and haunted the walls of the small apartment. You were there cooking breakfast or watching TV on the couch. It felt impossible to not call you, especially when days were getting harder and he need your comforting arms around him.
However, ghost fade away with the memories. The scent of you no longer lingered in the area. Your ghost had faded away in the kitchen when he found himself cooking instead and doing everything alone. It seemed like planning for a long trip was enough to have him push you to the back of his mind.
It wasn’t until the day of that you came back to his mind. It was a phone call he had never asked for, but dreamed of.
“Hello? Yoongi?” Your voice whispered.
His heart jumped excitedly at the sound of his name coming from you. He missed it so much. “Hey.”
“Are you really leaving today?” It sounded more painful that he would have imagined.
He wanted to believe that going back to you and staying here was the right answer, but he knew nothing had changed. You were still going to do the same thing you always did and this type of fight was always going happen. This world was far to cruel to let anyone ever really learn.
“You had time to change my mind. It’s too late now, goodbye.”
The sound of Jimin walking into the room shook him out of his thoughts and he went back into looking at whatever he was looking at. He didn’t find it interesting at all. After attempts of rereading the same sentence again and again, instead he found himself thinking about everything, and what it truly meant.
Pluto had become his anger to you, the thing that he hoped he could leave on the planet. Maybe he couldn’t come back to you in this lifetime, but instead, learn from the mistake of leaving you behind on the selfish planet. Could he possibly save you from the selfish mindset and bring you to a new idea. One where your worries would no longer bother you, and instead, bring a peace to your heart?
He pulled out a ring from his pocket and touched every bump and design of the ring. He wondered if you would have like it and showed it off like you always did. It was the smile that he missed the most on your face, and he wished he could see it once more for the last time.

Summary: After being accepted in this mission to Pluto, it seemed that everyone was running away from something on this craft.
Warning: Hints of depression
Word Count: 600
A/N: I wrote this because I absolutely love this song and the lyrics always made have this type of story in my head. I’m weird, but it’s ok...
It seemed that on ship, everyone was running away from something on Earth.
Ridiculous as it sounds, a trip that could take a lifetime and possibly might even be worthless, it was something that the 7 of them were all willing to do. Each and everyone one of them were highly intelligent and so young, some would think they were being impulsive and crazy.
However, it was far from it.
There were people who crushed them, pushed past a limit that was too far to bring them back from. Leaving them all in this dark place that couldn’t be illuminated with the bright and most powerful man-made lights.
Their captain, Kim Namjoon, was a bright astrophysicist that showed promise to all scientist in the community. However, to be successful in something, you had to enjoy what you were doing.
His work didn’t feel that way to him.
In fact, he hated everything he did. He hated seeing all the work he had to do and wanted to do everything he could to give it all up, but it bothered him even more that he couldn’t say no when everyone was so proud of him and he so called “achievements”.
When he was younger, he mentioned the idea of giving up school to pursue music. His parents grew furious with him and he soon realized that they were never going to support him in his passion. Not when they had other plans for him. Some should say that he should be thankful for his parents, to push him in the “right” directions.
However, their meaning of the right way is only finding success in something that make you a good amount of money. It’s not like that money is all for him. It’s for everyone else.
He watched the endless universe around him from the window of the ship. Some stars seemed closer than other and he knew that the brightest ones could be already dead, but their last light was bright enough to mark the universe just a little longer. Was how they were all going to end? Just another fake star in the sky, but bright enough to mark history for a little while longer?
He glanced down at his phone, no signal. It was funny how he kept thinking that maybe he should have said his goodbyes to everyone who destroyed him. Crushed his hopes and shattered every dream he ever had. What should he say to them? The truth? Every bit of anger he had felt and even more just to have them just as crushed as he was? He figured that he made the right decision on staying quiet. Having them cry about it on their own and figuring it out why they never did receive that call. It was the satisfaction that only encouraged his silence. Maybe that’s why instead, he decided to reach for Pluto.
Pluto was the cold that the world had brought him.
He knew the truth to this mission. He knew he was going to die. If it wasn’t by the planet, it was going to be by society instead. He was going to be remembered by his knowledge and his “bravery”, but not the past he endured that lead him here. Not every moment he cried or every attempt he made to run away from all of this. Those moments were only for him to hold, his truth behind the knowledge. That’s how he became a part of pluto, a lonely ex-planet that was too far away from everyone, but at one moment was considered a part of something bigger.

Breathe
ReaderxFelix
Summary: He was, after all, your breath of fresh air.
Angst
Word Count: +1.5k
Warnings: drinking and death
A/n: I wrote this when I was drinking a bit so... anyways. Enjoy~ (PS I'm sorry for not being able to put a keep reading thingy, I'm posting this from my phone. 😞)
Why does it feel like every moment someone breathes, it suddenly becomes a bit more harder to breathe? There’s no reason behind it. Shouldn’t there be enough oxygen for everyone?
Scientifically, yes.
Mentally and emotionally, no.
Sometimes, you wonder how people can call another person, a breath of fresh air. It seems ridiculous and completely useless. Could they be figuratively calling them a tree? Standing tall above the ground, but completely void of any other capability? You scoffed at yourself, what did this have to do with anything? It felt stupid to have thoughts like these, but there you were. It was the drink, you decided. There wasn’t anything else to explain it. Today was a tough day, so you decided to drink, yet, you knew that it was more than that. Soft music played in the backgroud of your apartment, and the clutter you left in your house seemed to show how much of a mess you truly were. There was a moment in your life when everything was completely clean, and you had decided that drinking wasn’t your type of fun. However, that was before he showed up and completely changed it all. All the things that you thought you knew changed. He had changed the way you saw the world, bringing in a perspective you would have never thought about.
In a way, he had ultimately become your breath of fresh air.
Felix was once a complete stranger, but that’s how they always start. You hang around a person long enough and you slowly figure them out. Seeing all the things that make them, from their habits to their voice. Then that’s when they slowly become ingrained into your life and your thoughts. The stranger was no longer a stranger, but had become the person you loved deeply. You knew his likes and dislikes, and how they thought. Then there was the way his eyes would light up when he was happy, or how he would bite his lip when he was nervous. Then there were the promises he share with when he held you tightly, promising to never let go of you. They were promises you believed in the moment, completely forgetting the future. There were the small kisses shared between the both of you, whether it be when you’re cooking or cuddling with him. He often spontaneously asked you to dance with him, regardless of the place or if there was even music playing. If there wasn’t music, he hummed quietly, not caring if it was in tune or not. Anything you brought up to him, he would quickly join you in. You could remember how messy the kitchen became after you decided to try to bake a cake with him. Flour and eggs had ended up decorating the kitchen and walls and you, while he had some baking soda and icing on his face. It was a mess you were glad to make again, because he would be a part of it. It was those moments you loved because those were the good memories with him.
Then there were his friends, who treated you like family. Ready to listen to you and bringing you nothing but the happiness they thought you deserved. They joked with you and told embarrassing stories about him, making him embarrassed. There were plenty of times where you were hanging out with them and talk to them about struggles in your life, regardless if it was about Felix or if it was something else completely. It felt nice to know other people cared as much as you did about them. However, they didn’t replace him. They couldn’t if they tried because Felix was your soulmate. Everything about him took your breath away.
However, there were still arguments that the both of you knew were stupid. He didn’t understand how you could be so stubborn about certain things, and it often made you even more upset because he didn’t want to listen. Then there were the nights where he didn’t come back until late, which had you worried and staying up late. He said not to worry about him, but how could you not worry about the ones you care about?
There were days where the both of you wouldn’t talk because neither of you where ready to admit defeat. Those were the nights where you would hope that he would come in and say that the both of you need to admit wrong, together. At first he did, but as time went on, they slowly began to stop. His nights out began to become longer and you had slowly begun to do your own thing. The both of you had begun to grow apart. There wasn’t an eventful fight, or even someone falling for someone else. It was you who noticed it one night and brought it up to him. He didn’t argue, but merely agreed. That night, the both of you had agreed to end the relationship and continue your lives without each other. Neither of you wanted to admit it, but you still loved each other. The both of you had ended it without telling the real reasoning behind it. Felix would talk to his friends about how much you took care of him. He couldn’t help but feel burdensome, especially since you often took so much. You, on the other hand, felt as if he deserved someone who was more like him. Someone who was more outgoing and not so serious about life.
Maybe there wasn’t a fight, but it was the insecurities that had killed the relationship.
You took more of swig of the drink in your hand before you had decided that it was enough for the night. Alcohol could only do so much numbing. You sighed, glancing at the night sky once more before completely giving up on your search for anything that could give you more hope. A shooting star maybe? Would it pick your wish out of the other millions of people? You frowned, why would the star give you a wish that you once had?
You began to get ready for bed. It felt odd to not have someone with you, talking to you about their day or about life. It hurt to not have them waiting for you on the bed, opening their arms to cuddle. You grabbed one of the sweaters he left in your apartment and pulled it over you head, smelling the bits of cologne on the fabric. It felt like he was still hugging you tightly.
“I miss you,” you whispered. You glanced down at your phone and found the background picture of you and him together. It felt like he was still here, but there wasn’t enough dreams and wishes to bring him back.
Not in this life.
You trudged over to your empty bed and grabbed your phone. There wasn’t a night where you didn’t play the voicemail he left you.
“I miss you (Y/n). Letting you go was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I feel stupid for even letting it happen. I love you so much. I… I, honestly thought you deserved so much more than me. You could have fallen in love with any other person in the world, but you fell in love with me. A struggling musician who never really knows where they’re sleeping. I remember when we first met. You caught my eye in the crowd of people, and I remember wondering you were an angel coming for me. And as much as you tried to deny it, I still believe it to this very day that you are an angel. You are my angel that came to save me. From your wanderlust and the beautiful personality you have, god, there’s so much I could say about you. Ha… I was so stupid to ever think you needed someone else. It was the reason why I pushed you away… but I’m not going to let someone else come and take what’s mine. I’m gonna come by tonight! Please wait for me. I love you.”
Tears were falling down your face, and a small sob had escaped your lips. There were plenty of prayers and wishes that you saved for him, and yet they had failed you. As much as you wanted to hear him again, you didn’t have it in you to cry another night. Instead, you hugged his sweater tightly and imagined him comforting you.
Felix never made it to your place that night. On his way back, he was in a car accident. It was one of his friends who showed up to your place that night. He had been crying, but he tried making himself seem strong for you, because he knew that the smile you had welcomed him with wouldn’t return. In a way, he wasn’t wrong. It had become hard to smile like you did before. It felt like there wasn’t a reason to smile anymore… it wasn’t right to smile without him, you decided.
After all, it felt like he had taken all the air from you, making it harder to live

Daydream
SoulmateAU!WonwooXFem!Reader
Summary: It all starts with a daydream when you’re young but it continues to come back again and again.
Warnings: None
Word Count:+2k
A/N: I wrote this with no idea on what it was heading to. I liked how it turned out! It’s cute and I hope you guys like it! I’ll try to post more often! P.S: Just edited it, I wrote it at 3 am in the morning and I found so many errors. I tried to fit it as much as I could.
There she was, in the car with her family as they talked about their daily things or the latest gossip in the family. The rain had settled above them, not helping the current traffic that was making everyone drive just a tad bit crazy. It was all the craziness and the busy part of life that made her close her eyes and imagine herself in a whole new world of her. It was one where she was outside in the rain, only having the umbrella in her hand keeping her dry. Everyone else around her were running out of it or walking with the similar idea that she had. It seemed like everyone else was busy rushing everywhere to not even realize how perfectly still she was, sticking her hand out in front of her and just capturing the feeling of the rain. Each drop was something. A memory or a tear, maybe even just a meaning to a person that today was a different day than the rest. She found it completely memorizing how different meanings could be held in this moment, that she had failed to realize that she captured someone else's attention, and soon became apart of their memories that were held in this rain.
The smile that played at his lips and the urge to just run over to her and join her in everlasting thoughts. It was beautiful sight to him, how even at such a normal day, someone could find something so special. The way her lips naturally smiled and the way her eyes had twinkled in such wonder, it was all too beautiful. It was oddly strange, how someone his age had such a childlike wonder still attached to them. It seemed all too impossible to have such ideas at this day an age, because of the ongoing idea that adults needed to be busy and work driven. There wasn't supposed to be any space for such odd thoughts. Perhaps she was an author, he thought. They seemed to always have all sorts of ideas running their head. Maybe they could an artist? A musician or maybe even a photographer? Before he could even finish his thoughts, a little boy began to run towards her and shouted, "Professor (Y/L)!"
He watched as she looked down at her student and smiled, "Ilsung, you know you shouldn't running in the rain." She covered him with her umbrella and glanced around her, catching a glimpse of the man, whose eyes were fixated on her. Most of the time, it would be terrifying to see someone even glancing at her, yet she couldn't help herself on waving to him and turned her attention back to her student. His heart fluttered and for a moment, he felt as if an ethereal being had noticed him.
The thought had faded away and soon she was back in the car. The light sounds of guitar played in her ears as her attention was caught by the music played from her headphones. She looked around her and noticed nothing had changed. Her family still sitting and gossiping while traffic continued, but rain had begun to slow down, only leaving a drizzle to cover the cars. It wars only a daydream, she thought, but it was one she was hoped would one day be real. Little did she know, it wasn't a daydream, but her thoughts were shared with someone else. Wonwoo was trying to fall asleep, getting ready for school the next morning, but his head had begun to fill such odd thoughts and he couldn't help but catch her in his thoughts. A simple fantasy, he thought. There was no one like her that could even consider the idea of acting the way the girl in his daydream did. Most girls here were too stuck up or had other ideas that brought them wealth and a plentiful life. That's all everyone ever hoped for, never to just live humbly and happily with such a simple life. She was nothing more than a daydream, he decided, and continued to force himself into another realm of dreams.
Another incident soon happened, it was years later and the two of them were struggling college students. She was in the middle of studying in the library, waiting for her sister to come out of class. It was giving her a headache how much she had to learn for this semester but it was all to graduate early and go to work as soon as she could. Her job was her escape from all the troubles of here and a way to do something fulfilling for someone other than herself. She leaned back against her chair and let out a sign of distress. There wasn't enough motivation in the world for her to finish all of what she need to get done. Her eyes wandered over to the windows and found the clouds covering the beauty of the campus. The flowers looked dull and everyone else seemed to feel sluggish from to constant cloudiness. She huffed, summer was supposed to be sunny and happy, but the rainy season always ruined that idea. The music in her ears changed and soon her song had begun to play. She happily hummed along to the song, beginning to silently sing the words that spoke to her for many years. Her mind couldn't help but feel as if it was the only mind that wondered the way it did. Seeing the stories and the ideas that could come out of one moment. It was as if, she was the only one harboring these thoughts and the stories in her head. Every time she decided to share her stories or ideas, there be someone laughing at it or even becoming confused at the idea. There weren't enough words in the world to express everything she saw in the world. Maybe that's why she refused to the idea to fall in love with someone so easily… because no desired someone like herself. So, when she did first hear the song, a part of her thought the song was dedicated to her. Singing all alone to a crowd of people who never heard her. Her head fell against the wall and her eyes began to flutter, slowly feeling the exhaustion she had been avoiding.
That's when she was back, the same daydream from a few years ago, but however, this time she wasn't controlling it. There was no longer her wondering about the rain or any of her surroundings, but she was looking straight at the man her caught her eyes before. He was looking down at his cup of coffee, thinking deeply about an idea that seemed all too familiar to her. His lips were slightly pouting, probably out of habit and his hair was a mess from the wind. Why was she thinking about him again? Was it her desire to find another daydream like him? A chuckle seemed to escape her lips, and that alone caught Wonwoo's attention. He glanced up at the rare beauty that he saw before, the daydream he had hoped to see again. Even after years of falling in love with such a stupid daydream, he couldn't help but just stare at her. It was exciting and interesting how different this girl was. As much as he hoped that girls would change in college, nothing did. They all seemed to have the same desires, no one seemed to have the wonder he had been secretly harboring for years.
He waved at her quietly and watched as she began to beam with joy. He swore he could feel his heart soaring to the sky. That smile was absolutely stunning. She motioned to him to walk over but before he had the chance to get up and join her, the sounds of an alarm echoing through his dorm jolted him awake. He groaned in annoyance and shut the alarm angrily, resentful on even having the stupid thing. For one moment, it felt like his dreams had become his new reality but only to have it be crushed. He wanted to hear her voice sing about the ideas that went through his head and watch how each and every idea was formed. He wanted to his love to become real.
The girl was startled awake but the sudden disappearance of the man, it made her heart falter in disappointment. Why couldn't a man like that be real? Why did most of the guys here desire the same lustful and meaningless life? Why didn't anyone desire to figure out the meaning behind everything and see the true beauty in everything? She had slowly decided that her daydreams had become too cruel to her, making her hopes go up only to have them be crushed by reality. Her eye glanced back down at the book in front of her, reminding her about all the things she had to work on before she had to go to work. The song had changed to another familiar song and a good friend of her sat across from her, completely oblivious to the thoughts running through her head. She forced a smile and pretended the disappointment wasn't there to begin with. After all, a daydream will forever just stay a daydream.
After that moment, the both of them had fallen in love. The girl had quickly ended school and moved over to her job, which moved her miles away from her home. It was with her first class, when she recognized one of her students. It was a little surprising to find the same little boy from the daydream that haunted her for many years, walking merrily into her class. A smiled played on her lips. She couldn't help but stop him. "Excuse me, is your name Ilsung?"
He looked at her curiously, "Yes ma'am… how did you know?"
"Just a lucky guess. Anyways, come on, let's get class started."
Maybe it wasn't just a daydream, she had decided.
Wonwoo had groaned out of stress. All of this paperwork was too much for him and even the coffee wasn't helping his mind relax. He swore he could feel the grey hair coming out of his head. Even after years of promising himself he would becoming something fulfilling in his life, he still had to deal with the things of life. Owning a bookstore still meant he had to file taxes and keep everything in order, but he still got to sit back and read the new books that came into his store. In a way, it was fulfilling, he got to see how interested people became with new books or how other people spoke to each other through the stories, talking about the plot as if it was something that had happened to them. He loved enough that he would go through all of this again. The sounds of the traffic that ran throughout the city soon began to be covered by another sound, it was the sound of rain walking into the city. Wonwoo looked around him and found the view to suddenly become familiar. He watched as people ran or pulled out their umbrellas, all except one person, who seemed to expect this already. Their eyes seemed to be filled with joy and the smile on their face seemed to already be smiling at him. Was this real or was he daydreaming again, he questioned. He looked at the girl that had caught his attention too many times before, still so stunning in his eyes. She waved at him this time, looking around before crossing the road to meet him. There was elegance and mystery to her, yet it seemed to hold the meaning why she stood out. It was as if she was the color in a dull world. He stood up from his chair and walked over to her. She stood at the entrance of the shop he had been hiding in. She stuck her hand out for him, after all, he was a stranger she had fallen in love with years ago. He gentled shook her hand as well, knowing all too well that it was the beginning of something so beautiful.
She smiled, "Hi there, I'm (Y/N). You must be…"
"Wonwoo, Jeon Wonwoo. Would you like to join me today?”
“I would love to.”
