The people who have accomplished the things you want are not better than you. They are not more skilled than you are. Their mindset is simply different. Their mindset inspires new habits and attributes that contribute to a strong sense of self-belief and enables them to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and lead fulfilling lives.
Fortunately, this is something you can work on and have complete control over.
If you want to change your life, these are some of the things you should be working on within yourself.
Self-awareness: Successful people have a clear understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, values, and goals. They are aware of who they are and what they want to achieve.
Positive mindset: They maintain a positive outlook on life and view challenges as opportunities for growth. They focus on solutions rather than dwelling on problems.
Resilience: Bouncing back from failures and setbacks quickly. They see failures as temporary and use them as learning experiences to improve and grow.
Self-motivation: You need to be internally driven and have a strong sense of purpose. Successful people set goals for themselves and work persistently towards achieving them.
Confidence: They have confidence in their abilities and believe in their potential for success. They trust their judgment and are not easily swayed by others' opinions.
Adaptability: They are open to change and embrace new experiences. They are willing to step out of their comfort zone and take risks to pursue their goals.
Discipline and consistency: They practice self-discipline and maintain consistency in their actions. They set routines, establish habits, and follow through on their commitments.
Emotional intelligence: They possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, understanding their own emotions and the emotions of others. They can manage their emotions effectively and maintain positive relationships.
Growth mindset: They believe in their ability to learn and develop new skills. They see setbacks as opportunities for improvement and are open to acquiring new knowledge and experiences.
Self-care: They prioritize self-care and well-being. They recognize the importance of taking care of their physical, mental, and emotional health, which helps them maintain a positive mindset and stay motivated.

“But here’s a little secret for you: no one is ever the same thing again after anything. You are never the same twice, and much of your unhappiness comes from trying to pretend that you are. Accept that you are different each day, and do so joyfully, recognizing it for the gift it is. Work within the desires and goals of the person you are currently, until you aren’t that person anymore, and everything changes once again.”

“Relax. Breathe. It’s okay, you have time. Take it day by day and allow things to unfold as they’re meant to. Your life will happen according to its own timing, and you will become the person you’re meant to be.”

there is no way to hate myself into becoming a person i like.
there is no way to shame myself into a better life.
i can’t motivate myself to heal in the same ways i encouraged my own destruction.

sulli's solo is honestly a masterpiece.
i 100% understand why some people are a little iffy with the 'concept' for goblin, since we don't actually know for sure if sulli has ever experienced d.i.d personally, but i think that sulli is doing what she can to raise awareness for the disorder, and potentially sharing her own story in the process(?)
the fact that all of the songs were written by sulli herself just shows how much of a creative artist she really is, and the fact that this is her reintroduction to releasing music since her departure from f(x) is amazing.
i love that she wasn't afraid to experiment with different tempos and rhythms, even if they conflicted with eachother. i think this is the most obvious with dorothy where the lyrics seem to be conflicting the music in terms of timing, but it still tells a story
on the moon is probably my favourite song out of the three because it just conveys pure emotion even though musically it's the "simpler" piece - sulli's vocals are so clear and beautiful and i've missed her so so much.

“Black girls don’t get told we are beautiful enough. Black girls aren’t always told we can be princesses. Cute, sweet, innocent, pure- these are not words black girls often hear associated with us. Fast, sassy, mouthy, too grown, angry, aggressive- those are the words that get shot at us like darts. Black girls are not girls- we are mini women who are forced to be strong. You must tell black girls they are beautiful, innocent, sweet, magical. You must treat black girls as girls. Then, you can talk about black girl characters whose looks and femininity doesn’t matter. Otherwise, you are just maintaining the status quo- denying black girls our beauty and femininity.”
