“you need dysphoria to be trans”
doesn’t mean that you need to be extremely repulsed by your body to the point of having several breakdowns a day and avoiding looking at it altogether (alongside with other severe symptoms)
it simply means that your gender incongruence (the disconnect between your gender identity and your body) significantly affects your life and takes up a big portion of your time (according to the DSM-V)

Sometimes I feel to feminine to be a guy ...
I’m gonna tell you right away: you’re not. Cis boys can wear dresses and makeup and still be boys because your gender expression does not determine your gender. As long as you make sure to do what makes you happy and comfortable and chases away the dysphoria, there’s nothing wrong with being a bit more feminine. Not every guy is a mega masculine dude, so there’s no reason that every trans guy has to be as well. That’s just not realistic or fair. It feels like everything we do has to be the epitome of masculinity or people will catch on to the fact that we weren’t born the same way as most guys, but there is truly nothing wrong with being a feminine trans dude. As long as you’re getting rid of your dysphoria, you’re happy, you’re safe and you’re comfortable you’re doing the right things for yourself. Safety comes before all the rest but if you’re safe then by all means do whatever makes you happy. Live your best life. What other people think isn’t important. You are wonderful just the way you are.

Pros of being a small trans boy: I get to wear all my (twin) brother’s hand me downs from middle school. We’re in college now.

like i think it’s important to acknowledge that sometimes sexuality and gender is a phase, and that that’s okay. maybe you id:ed as trans for 3 years to realise you’re actually cis and that’s okay. maybe you were bisexual but now you’re homosexual, heterosexual or pan, and that that’s okay too. it doesn’t necessarily mean that you were wrong during all that time (but maybe you were and that’s Okay too!) but maybe rather that you have a fluid sexuality and gender. i don’t know but i don’t think we as a community talk enough about this

Homosexuality is decriminalized in India!! 🌈🌸
India’s Supreme Court has struck down a colonial-era law criminalizing consensual gay sex, overturning more than 150 years of anti-LGBT legislation.
The court announced the landmark verdict in Delhi on Thursday, as jubilant crowds cheered and rights activists hugged one another, overcome with emotion.

It’s okay to be insecure about your orientation and/or gender. It’s okay to be unsure of yourself. Everyone has waves of self-doubt. Even if you were loud and proud yesterday it’s okay to be quiet today. You’re still valid and you’re still a good person. It’s okay to wave between proud and ashamed. Just please don’t take it out on yourself or others. You’ll make it through this.

Photographer Braden Summers traveled to several diverse countries to showcase that no matter who you are, love is love. Because there is a misconception of what being gay looks like he went out to photograph only gay couples.
