You had never been one to be the most confident in herself. You knew you were able to do great things but there were always some things you thought you weren't good enough for. Zanka was one of them. He was just so amazing all the time, it made you wonder why he chose you. Not that you were doubting him of course, you could never. No, you were just wondering. He was a guy of so many talents, especially about his jinki or his fighting skills in general. You had always been impressed by that. He was truly amazing. 

Today was no exception to this. You were training together during some free time. You weren't bad, but Zanka was obviously better than you. During a break, you were sitting on the ground when a sigh escaped your lips. It caught his attention but you didn't notice it. You slowly shook your head, murmuring to yourself. “Oh, I really could never be good enough for you.” His eyes widened and his body stiffened before he slowly turned around entirely in your direction. “What did you say?” You looked at him, surprised that he heard you but knowing you couldn't avoid the discussion. “It's true. You're so cool, I just can't-” You didn't get the chance to finish your sentence, cut by Zanka's words. “If anything, it's me who couldn't be enough for you.” A frown appeared on your face. No way he really said this. 

This was where the real battle started. You both passed an hour, maybe two, trying to convince the other that you were the one who wasn’t good enough. Until Zanka decided to put an end to this debate. “You know what? Fine. I’ll show you how amazing you are.” You couldn’t believe it. Like you would let him win so easily. You crossed your arms on your chest, looking at him. “Yeah? OK. I’ll do it too then.” And with that, you both parted ways under the lost gazes of the few people around. You were as stubborn as him, so nobody knew how far this could go. But there was no way this would end quickly. 

The next day marked the beginning of your war against Zanka to show who was the most amazing one in your relationship. You knew he wasn’t much of a sweet tooth, but you were also aware that he had one specific dessert that he loved very much. You spent almost the whole night in the kitchen to make it for him, with written on top of it “For the best boyfriend”. You were pretty proud of yourself because it didn’t look so bad, at least not as much as expected. You hid it in your room so Rudo would eat it before you could give it to Zanka. 

You did a few things on your own, waiting for the perfect moment. Once he was finally alone, you approached him with the cake in your hands. A smile on your lips, you handed it to him. He looked at you with raised eyebrows and confused eyes ; but before he could say anything, you opened your mouth. “Because you’re so great, I wanted to surprise you.” And you swore you could see his ears growing redder by seconds. But he quickly got back on Earth, reminding himself of what happened yesterday. He took the dessert with a smile, thanking you but silently promising that he wouldn’t let you win. 

It went back and forth for days after that, each of you always finding something new to do, say or offer to the other. It was almost funny at this point, especially to the other cleaners who kept on witnessing everything. Apparently, you couldn’t accept that you were perfect for each other and nothing else. 

Today was Zanka’s turn and he had such a great idea. There was no way you wouldn’t let him win after this. He was so smart sometimes, he impressed himself. He just needed a few more days to make absolutely perfect. To be honest, you almost thought he had given up on your battle. Until you heard a knock at your door and guessed who it was. When you opened it, you weren’t surprised to see him. Zanka was standing proudly at your door and the grin on his lips was telling you everything you needed to know. You moved to let him come inside before closing the door behind him. You turned around to face him and he did the same while you crossed your arms on your chest. You waited for him to say something, but instead he seemed to be searching in his pocket. He just took your hand and put the thing he was searching for in your palm. 

Your eyes were wide open when they fell on the small object resting in your hand. You couldn’t believe your eyes, analyzing what clearly looked like a ring. You slowly looked up to meet his gaze full of pride. He could see the loss in your eyes and so he decided to explain himself. “It’s a promise ring. Because you’re the most amazing girlfriend. It’s a promise to stay by your side.” He wasn’t even looking at you anymore, his hands on his hips while he proudly claimed those words. 

What made him look back at you was when your silence was broken by a sniff coming from you. All his pride seemed to instantly disappear when he realized you were actually crying. He took a step closer, panic and worry written all over his face. He didn’t expect you to react this way, not at all. “Hey… What’s wrong?” He finally asked, and you looked up at him with wet eyes. 

“You’re being serious, right? You really mean what you just said? You want to stay by my side?” You asked, and it broke his heart that you could even doubt it. Not his sincerity, but your very own worth. He slowly put the ring on the side before taking your hands between his own. “Deadly serious. You’re even more amazing than what I could dream of.” You wiped some tears with your sleeve, before looking at him with a little smile. 

“Can we just agree that we are great for each other?” You asked in a soft whisper. Zanka nodded at your words. “Yes, we can.” Because you were everything he needed, and you could say the same thing about him ; so nothing else mattered.

but there was this one time where you didn't have any other choice ; it was this or getting killed

the most serious and rational about this 

sure he wants you to be careful, and he always repeats it 

but he also need to fight of course 

he lets you join the cleaners while being aware of what your jinki was 

checks on you every time after a mission 

it's a ritual by now, it's almost like you go to his office even before getting healed 

you can't hide anything from him so you tell him everything about what happened 

sometimes he scolds you for pushing yourself too far 

but there's always a thank 

he's glad to have you helping them even if it can be dangerous for you 

yet he's never letting you too much out of his sight 

he can't come on mission Enjin’s eyes are his own to be sure it's never getting out of hand 

he got eyes everywhere

Umemiya giving a piggy-back ride

It was Umemiya who insisted on you coming to the kind of a little party he was throwing on the rooftop to both show off his garden but also congratulate his dear boys. You were a bit tired but you couldn’t say no to him when he was looking at you like this, with his big pretty eyes. So you gave up and accepted to come along. 

It was fun, you couldn’t deny it. You spent a lot of time with Tsubaki, gossiping and giggling about so many things. You also had the occasion to spend a little more time with the first years that you didn’t see much and who seemed all very cute. But exhaustion quickly catched you up and you excused yourself to join Umemiya’s side. 

He was quick to understand what was going on. You were glued to his side, your arm locked around his own and never letting him go away without having you following his every step. You were only this clingy when you were tired, and he was well aware of it. No matter how important they all were to him, you were always his top priority so he didn’t hesitate before saying that you would both take your leave now. 

You were completely silent by his side while your boyfriend was yapping over who knew what, walking you back home. He glanced at you beside him, and he noticed the way you were about to just fall asleep here and now. It made him smile a little, and he didn’t even try to hide it. He moved away from your side, which caused you to almost whine in complaint. But when you opened your eyes a bit more, you saw him standing in front of you, waiting for you to climb on his back. 

“Come here, sweetie. No more walking for you,” he said and you honestly didn’t have the strength to fight back. So you walked closer to climb on his back, wrapping your arms around his neck from behind while his hands held your thighs to keep you in place. He began to walk again when he was sure that you were just nice. 

He remained silent at first, thinking you might need some calm to rest, even if he was carrying you on his back, until he heard a little request coming out from your lips. “Can you keep talking, please?” You asked him almost in a whisper, and he couldn’t help but smile softly at your words. He was quick to respond, as he got back to talking about all he could have to say, hearing your breath slowing down as he did. 

Sakura braiding your hair

When you asked him if he could braid your hair, you saw him turn into a real tomato. Direct live, no other reaction except this and him opening and closing his mouth again and again like a fish gasping for air. It was kind of cute, you had to admit it. Well, it was Sakura, he was always cute of course. It took him a moment to gather his thoughts and process what you had asked him. 

The thing was that Sakura was not able to say no to you. It was always easy for you, you barely needed to do the puppy eyes to him. you just asked and he was folding. This was how you ended up sitting on the grass with him sitting right behind you, trying to understand how he was supposed to do that. No one ever asked him to braid their hair, he had no idea on how to do this. Sure, you explained to him and told him it would be fine, but he wasn’t so sure about it. 

You had a smile dancing on your lips and your eyes closed, humming some soft tune. You seemed happy but mostly peaceful, the moment was just so calm. At least, it was for you, because Sakura was feeling like going crazy behind your back. He was trying to be the gentlest possible with your hair, not wanting to take the risk of hurting you even slightly. If you put aside that he had no idea of what he was doing, he was also feeling his heart racing in his chest by being so close to you. 

You made it so casual, like he wasn’t on the verge of exploding just by touching your hair and hearing you humming with such a sweet voice. He couldn’t even understand how he ended up in this situation. After some time, probably longer than what it should have been, he spoke up. “I’m done,” he said while looking away. Your hands reached for the braid to feel it and your smile brighted a bit more when you turned around to meet his eyes. “Thank you! it’s so pretty,” you said by playing with the end of the braid. 

“You didn’t even see it well,” he mumbled, a pout on his lips. The giggle that escaped your lips made his heart skip a beat ; or maybe two or more. “I know it is, because you’re the one who made it. Thanks again, Sakura,” you leaned closer to leave a quick kiss on his cheek before you stood up and left him like this after you had been called. His eyes widened and he looked up at your figure rushing away. He wasn't sure if he wanted to yell at you or just disappear before anyone could see him. Damn you and your soft side.

Suo feeling you in the dark

You didn’t know why you agreed to do this. It was one of those stupid ideas that kept on reminding you that they were nothing but boys at the end of the day. You hated being scared, so why would you come to a haunted house with them? It really made no sense. And yet, you were right here by their sides. 

Nirei was probably as afraid as you were, he was just showing it way more than you did. It was the usual to see him like this, while you had probably a bit too much of an ego to admit that you’d rather be everywhere but here right now. Suo kept teasing you about it though. Him and his observation skills, you hated that. 

When you all finally stepped in, it was by teams of two. You left Nirei with Sakura because he would feel the safest like this, and Tsugeura took Kiryuu with him, which left you with Suo. It was your lucky day apparently. You both walked in and you hated how Suo seemed so carefree and chill about all of this. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, any little sound making you flinch. 

Then suddenly, the lights turned off. A gasp escaped your lips as you realized that you couldn’t see anything at all ; not even Suo who, you had to admit, made this situation a bit less scary. You were nervously looking all around when you felt a hand grabbing yours. You flinched, almost ready to scream when you heard a voice you knew too well. 

“Easy, it’s me. You’re safe,” Suo’s tone wasn’t teasing anymore. In fact, you could almost feel him worried about it. The truth was that he was well aware that you were nervous about this, and it was fun to play about it ; but knowing you thought you were alone wasn’t fun anymore. He would never let you alone in a stressful situation. 

“Let’s get out of here, shall we?” He asked and you slightly squeezed his hand to show him that you agreed with the idea. He kept his hand in yours, leading you to the door so you could both walk out. He didn’t let go of your hand, even once you reached the exit ; not until you let go first. He might love teasing you about a lot of things, but he’d rather know that you were feeling good.

Kaji sitting close and knees touching

Fighting with Kaji was something that always just made sense to you. He was either silent or yelling, unable to communicate correctly or even running away at every inconvenience. You’d never hesitate to pick up a fight with him and neither did he. So when Umemiya made you sit side by side at the campfire he organized that night, you both thought he just wanted to annoy you. 

The truth was that the leader of Bofurin was more than aware that you were two idiots in love who didn't know how to express anything other than by fighting with each other. Sticking you by each other’s side seemed a great idea in his eyes, even if Hiiragi kept telling him to stay out of your business. 

You were busy talking with Tsubaki who was by your side, a little smile playing on your lips, while Kaji was completely silent. You could almost hear him mumbling about wanting to leave or something like this ; or at least his face was saying it clearly. He kept sending glances in your direction from time to time. You might think it was because he hated to see you enjoying yourself, but in fact, he just secretly hoped that you were talking to him instead. 

But how was he supposed to do that? He couldn’t just tell you, it was nonsense. You would laugh at his face and he would yell at you and you’ll both be back to the usual situation. He crossed his arms, almost pouting like a baby, and this was when you decided that you couldn’t just ignore the chance you got to tease him. 

You leaned a bit closer to him, your arms crossed and a smirk on your lips as you began to tease him about his pouty face. But all he could think about right now was the way your knee was touching his in the process. You seemed so unaware of it while it was the only thing going through his mind right now. He looked up at you the moment you tilted your head to the side to try to meet his eyes. 

“What’s wrong with you?” You told him with a little frown and he frowned even deeper than you. “What’s wrong with YOU, you mean?” He replied, the usual bickering quickly coming back. It didn’t take long before you both began to fight again, until Hiiragi had to intervene to grab you both by the back of your collars like two wet cats. Though, Kaji kept replaying the way your knee touched his in his head. Maybe one day he’ll learn how to talk to you properly.

Kaji has pretty hands. His fingers are slim, you can see his bones a little more than the norm and he has pretty nails. Yes, he fights a lot and I don't take him for someone who takes great care of his looks, but, despite it all, his hands are still pretty. With cuts, red knuckles and the border of his nails too, but you can't help but stare either way. He wouldn't mind letting you hold his hands whenever you feel like it if you like playing with his fingers. He loves it actually, it's simple but intimate. It reminds him how comfortable you are around him and how much you trust him.

Not that long but big and veiny for sure! Not as hurt as they used to be, but there's shadows of past fights all over his hands and forearm. The real deal now is the dirt under his nails, it's a nightmare for you and you spend a lot of time cleaning it. He doesn't get why you're obsessed with his hands when yours are definitely softer and prettier. He loves kissing your hands, so do it for him too so he feels pretty as well. You trace his veins or scars a lot. He would let you put hand cream on them at the same times as yours every night if that's what you want, he doesn't want you to be mad at him.

His hands are pretty basic looking, average size, maybe his bones are a little thicker but nothing crazy. But he takes so much care of it that you can't miss it. They're always soft when he takes your hand, you can't think of anything else. You could expect them to be calloused but not that much. He for sure wears a lot of jewelry! And would love to have matching rings. He would also like to paint his nails or match his with yours if that's what you like!

You rarely had fights with Sylus, mostly because you had the man wrapped around your little finger ; he would never do anything that could make you uncomfortable or could really make you angry. He was a tease, and getting reactions out of you was something he liked a lot, but he never crossed the line of making you really mad.

But this time, he got too far. Way too far. He had spent an awful day where nothing had been going the way he wanted and you just happened to be here when he was about to crash out. He didn’t want to pass his nerves on you, of course not ; but you said the wrong thing and he just snapped. 

“When do you ever shut up?” The words left his mouth before he could think of them. He was quick to realise what he had just told you, but before he could add anything for his defense, he saw your frown and the hurt in your eyes. “Go to hell, Sylus,” you told him before you shut the door behind you in one hard move. 

How dumb he was to think you would come back so soon. You both had a party tonight, one you would never miss and he knew it. You were supposed to go together, but as the time passed, he finally understood that you were probably already there, and alone. Sylus didn’t like the idea, not at all. He could already imagine all those guys looking at you like you were free to get. Fools. Like they ever get a chance with you. 

He made his way to this stupid party on the back of his motorcycle, hating the way he couldn’t feel your arms wrapped around his waist to be sure you wouldn’t fall from here. You should be here, with him ; but he also knew it was all his fault. He needed to make it up to you, and he would. He got off the bike when he finally arrived in front of the building, taking off his helmet to put it in its safe place on the vehicle. 

Sylus was walking through the people, not even caring answering the one saying hi or asking him stupid questions. Except that he noticed how no one was talking about the lack of your presence by his side. It only confirmed his thoughts : you were already here. He felt his blood boiling in his veins while he made his way to the main room. 

He almost froze in his place when his eyes fell on a figure he knew all too well. His hands had run over it more than enough to know it by heart. You were right here, laying against a wall while you seemed so focused on your discussion with the random guy he didn’t know. He trusted you enough to know you wouldn’t do anything, but the way this man was roaming his eyes on you made him lose his mind. 

You were technically facing him, and it didn’t take you long before you noticed his broad figure in the entrance of the room. A light grin tucked at the corners of your lips, and he saw it almost immediately. You were playing with him. Perhaps he deserved it, yes, but he wouldn’t let you get away with this so easily. He walked towards you until he was right behind the poor guy who had no idea of how taken you already were. 

The man was about to say something when he felt a strong hand resting on his shoulder. He turned around, ready to shout at the one bothering him, when he saw Sylus’s on him. He stopped almost immediately, then Sylus’s voice could be heard. “Can I talk to her?” He asked, clearly rhetorically, and the guy just nodded quickly before running away from here, leaving you alone with Sylus. You crossed your arms and sighed, not even glancing at the white haired man in front of your very eyes. 

“My girl sure is pretty tonight. Is that for me?” A light smirk was dancing on his lips while he let his eyes traveled all over your finger without a single hint of shame. You looked back at him, clearly not amused by his words. If he thought he would get you back so easily, he was even stupider than what you thought. “I don’t want to see you. “ Your words were harsh, and it made him realise even more how much he hurted you with his words. 

You were about to turn away so you could leave him on his own, when you felt his hand slipping in yours so gently. He could have just grabbed your wrist and forced you to stay ; he was stronger than you, But he didn’t. He purposely caught your hand in the softest way he ever did in a public place before. You turned around slowly so you would face him once again, you could swear you never saw him looking at you like this before. Well, maybe not never, but it was a sight rare enough to be noticing it and marking it in the calendar. 

“Can we just talk about this? Please.” His voice was closer to a whisper now, and you swore it had awakened something deep inside your stomach that you tried to ignore. Sylus wasn’t the kind of guy who said please so easily ; and now he sounded so desperate. You pushed those thoughts to the back of your head, it wasn’t the right time for this. 

You had to stay angry at him, at least for a little longer. Even if he seemed to have understood how wrong he had been, your own ego needed to prove to itself that he was able to survive his pleading eyes. “Fine, but be quick.” Sylus saw this as a victory. He knew you well enough to be aware that if you were really still angry at him, you would have ignored him. 

He was quick in his moves when he guided you upstairs to an empty room, locking it right behind him. He looked at you trying to be angry at him, and he had to restrain himself from smiling at the view. You were so adorable when you were playing anger. He made you sit down on the edge of the bed but, before you could even think about him sitting next to you, he was kneeling down in front of you. 

“Listen baby. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have snapped at you. Do you think you can forgive me?” He was clearly playing along with your fake annoyance, you could tell it so easily. Yet, you kind of appreciate this situation. Maybe you could take advantage of it for once. “I’m not sure I can,” you answered while looking down at him.

Gently, his hand took your wrist so he could begin to leave soft kisses against your palm. His lips were more brushing your skin than really touching it, and it sent shivers all the way down to your spine. His kisses slowly moved to your wrist, then to your arm, his fingers slowly caressing the skin up your arm to leave free space for his lips. In between his gentle touches, he was murmuring sweet words and soft pleas to you. You hated this. Hated how easy it was for him to make you completely head over heels. He had too much of an impact on you for your own good. 

“Fine, okay, I forgive you! Stop this now, for God’s sake.” You mumbled in a hitched breath which made him chuckle. A low chuckle that sent jolts in your stomach. “Why would I stop when my angel looks so pretty?” He asked all innocently when he was anything but innocent right now. This man would be the death of you one day. You didn’t even want him to stop, it was just nonsense to even think about doing such things in a room that wasn’t yours. 

He finally stopped his sweet torture, making you sigh from both relief and disappointment. Sylus slowly stood up from the ground, offering his hand to you. You grabbed it, and the second after, you were pulled closer to his side. He left a kiss on your temple before glancing down at you. “Let’s leave this shitty place. I still need to prove to you how sorry I am.” And you knew exactly what he meant by those words. You didn’t even want to stay here anyway. Nothing related to your stomach doing flips because of his hand on your hip. Of course not. “Yeah, let’s get home.”

You had this idea wandering in your mind for weeks now. You couldn’t help but notice the way Rudo seemed to be so fond of sweet things. Perhaps it was because he couldn’t have them back at the Sphere, but he was completely losing his mind over desserts and cakes. 

You weren’t the best at cooking, that was for sure. Yet, you weren’t the worst either so you were sure you would be able to make this stupid cake. How could you not? Sugar and flour couldn’t be able to take you down, right? That was what you thought. 

You spent longer than expected trying to make some sweets. You never thought it would be so hard to make something which tasted nice and didn’t look absolutely terrible. After hours of fighting harder than any fight against a trash beast, you were able to achieve your goal. 

You were supposed to see Rudo in an hour, which left you way enough time to prepare yourself and make sure to be ready. You cleaned the mess you did in the kitchen before joining your own room to do what you needed to do before joining the boy. 

Rudo was already waiting for you outside the HQ, standing near a bench where he was absentmindedly playing with a rock on the ground. He heard your voice calling out for him, which made him look up almost immediately. 

You were wearing this cute pastel dress which suited you so well, and he swore he could feel his heart beating just at this. But the way you smiled and waved at him while approaching, it made it worse. He gathered his thoughts to remain as calm as possible, waving back at you with a light shade of pink on his cheeks - he would blame the weather for this. 

“Sorry, you didn’t wait too much, right?” He shook his head at your words, reassuring you that he had just arrived ; which wasn’t true because he was so excited about spending time with you that he arrived fifteen minutes early. “I have a surprise for you, close your eyes,” you told him, and his first reaction was to frown a little. But he trusted you, so he soon closed his eyes in silence. 

You were trying to hide your small giggles ; you were just so eager to see his reaction. You made him sit down on the bench, before you sat right next to him, leaving just enough place between the two of you so you could place the small box of sweets right there. 

“Okay, open now!” When he did as you say, his eyes fell on you before a sweet scent made his gaze drop to the box between the two of you. His eyes slowly widened, looking back up at you. He pointed at his chest hesitantly, having a hard time believing you did that for him alone. 

“Did you make these? For me?” He asked you, just to be sure, and you almost immediately nodded with a bright smile on your lips. “I did! You’re always so happy when you eat desserts, I wanted to try to make some for you.” You explained and Rudo felt like exploding. To be honest, if you weren’t right here in front of him, he might have just fallen to his knees and screamed. 

But he didn’t. He simply became completely red, stuttering a few words without being able to form a complete sentence. You chuckled softly at his reaction, placing a sweet in his hand. “Try it!” You didn’t need to tell him twice. He brought it to his lip, tasting the gift you made for him. 

It never tasted better, he could have swore it. Maybe it wasn’t really the best he ever had, but just knowing that you had taken some of your time to make this, just so he would be happy, it instantly made it better than any other dessert he could ever eat.  

He looked back at you, slightly nodding to reassure you about the taste. You sighed in relief, before you began to explain how easy it was, clearly hiding the truth about the mess you made while doing them. You finally spent the afternoon together, talking and eating those little cakes. You left some for him, so he could bring them to his room. 

“Think about me while you eat them,” you told him with a wink before leaving, and Rudo thought you might really be the end of him. He walked back to his room with his little box, sending death glares at anyone who tried to steal some to him. 

He knew he couldn’t keep them forever, but he wanted to cherish those like a treasure. Until he remembered your previous words. Did you mean that you would bake for him again? He simply held the box close to his chest, a familiar warmth spreading all over him. It would really make him happy if you did.

Nagi

Mornings were not his thing. It had never been and it would probably never be. He loved sleeping way too much to be wanting to leave his comfy bed. To be honest, it became even worse when you began to share his bed. Not only was his bed warm enough for him to stay here, but he could cuddle you on top of that. Absolutely no reason to ever leave. 

You weren’t an early person either, but you were definitely more than he was. You were always awake before him, and you wished you could use that time to do some of the things you needed to do, or just be active on anything. But there was a small problem about this : you just couldn’t get away from his grip. 

Keeping you close against himself was natural for Nagi, perhaps a bit too much. Even when he was deep in his sleep, his arms were keeping you in a strong firm against his chest so you wouldn’t leave him. Today was no different. 

You had been awake for a moment and you just wanted to leave the bed without waking him up. But his arm around your waist wasn’t letting you even move a little, your back pressed against his chest. You tried to brush your fingers softly on his arm, hoping it would make him ease his grip a little ; except it had the exact opposite effect. 

He nuzzled his nose in your hair, breathing slowly as he let your scent fill his senses. You knew he was awake, because he was never moving so much when he was sleeping. “I need to get up, please Nagi,” you whispered softly, only to receive a slight hum as an answer. Obviously, he didn’t let you go at all. 

Before you could say anything more, his nose slowly ran down to the skin of your neck, before he left a soft kiss against it, all innocently. He just wanted you by his side, nothing more ; and you hated the effect it had on you. You couldn’t deny him anything when he was acting so clingy. 

it was your curse, and you were beginning to get used to it by now.

Sae

The very moment you entered his life, he knew everything he was used to would change in a way or another. You were like a storm coming to turn everything upside down for him, but he wouldn’t be complaining at all. He loved you for this, the way you were able to make him do anything he would have never done before. 

His morning habits were a part of this. You weren’t an early bird at all, when he was completely one. At first, he would leave the bed early and leave you on your own for hours because you were the type to sleep until pretty late in the morning when you could. You weren’t really saying anything about it, until you realized that you could never stay in bed to just cuddle with him. 

When you told him about it, Sae didn’t really know what to say. He was always awake pretty early and he saw no reason to stay in bed for hours to do nothing in particular when he could be doing many things out of the room. Until you showed him. Ine morning, you prevented him from leaving you so soon, simply clinging onto him like a koala to its tree. This was how he discovered how nice it was to just do nothing with you. 

The rays of sun were softly piercing through the curtains to light up the room, putting you out of sleep. You stretched your arms a little, expecting to be on your own, when you heard a calm breathing next to you. You turned your head, only to notice Sae’s peaceful face as he was still asleep by your side. 

A smile appeared on your lips at the view of your boyfriend in such a deep slumber. You didn’t want to wake him up, but he looked so sweet right now, you couldn’t help it. Your hand gently reached for his face, brushing away some of his hair from his forehead. His eyelids fluttered a little before he opened his eyes, meeting your gaze on him. 

He didn’t say a word, his hand reaching for you so he could bring you closer to him. He nuzzled his nose in your hair, his fingers drawing soft patterns on the skin of your hip. He didn’t need to tell you more as you hid your face in his neck, closing your eyes back with a soft sigh. Those were really your favorite mornings. 

Kunigami

He wasn’t exactly the type to stay very long in bed in the morning. It wasn’t that he didn’t like it for real, but he liked to do some training in the morning to stay in shape and feel nice after he took his shower. Having you by his side now made him stay in bed a little longer than he was before, but in the end, he kept on waking up pretty early. 

The only thing that really changed since you entered his life was that he wasn’t only doing his own breakfast now. He made his usual, sure, but he also prepared some other stuff for you. Sometimes, when he was out running, he would pass by some bakery to grab a little something for you. 

The sun was slowly going up in the sky, as the city began to wake up little by little ; but Kunigami had been up for ages by now. He was in the kitchen of his apartment while you were still peacefully asleep in his bed, hidden in the sheets covered by his scent which didn’t make you want to leave anytime soon. 

What brought you out of your slumber was the soft touch on your arm. You whined slightly, not wanting to wake up even if you knew you had to. Kunigami’s soft voice reached your ears and you finally opened your eyes. “There you are,” he said with a gentle smile which made you melt. 

He leaned over you a little, just enough to leave a kiss against your forehead. “I made breakfast,” he told you, and you grumbled something under your breath, closing your eyes at the touch of his lips. You slowly sat back up on the bed, still under the sheets ; noticing the platter next to you. You looked back at him and all he did was to smile. 

Mornings with Kunigami were always so sweet, you couldn’t ask for a better wake up than this.

Sae or a kiss for reassurance

Saying that Sae was popular with the girls was almost an euphemism. They were always swooning over him, trying to get his attention. And even if he obviously didn’t care at all, you could help but to get worried because of this. 

It wasn’t really a lack of self confidence, you knew you were pretty and that he loved you but looking at those girls being REALLY pretty and having perhaps a lot more than anything you had, it kept on making you wonder if he wouldn’t leave you for any of them. 

You were both sitting on the couch in the living room, his eyes focused on the book between his fingers. You were sitting next to him, fidgeting with your fingers as you were obviously stressed over something. Too bad for you, your boyfriend knew you all too well to not notice it. 

“What’s wrong?” He asked without even looking up from his book, but when he heard no answer from you, he slowly moved his eyes to your figure. You were avoiding his gaze, trying to find the right words and clearly struggling. He frowned just a little, putting his book to the side. It seemed more important than what he thought. 

“Do you think about leaving me, sometimes?” Your words hit a chord deep inside of him. Leaving you? Why would he be leaving you? The thought never even crossed his mind. He gently grabbed your hand, his lips meeting your knuckles to leave soft kisses against your skin. “Never.” 

When he looked up at you and you finally met his eyes, you knew he wasn’t lying. But he could still see a flash of worry in your eyes, and he didn’t like it. His free hand moved up to your face so he could hold your chin, tilting your head down to make you lean closer to him. The way he softly kissed your lips made your heart beat faster in your chest, because you knew you were the only one being able to have this treatment from him. 

“Don’t ever think I’d leave you,” he whispered in such a gentle tone after he pulled away, his lips almost brushing against yours as he spoke. How could you not trust him when he was acting like this. Nothing should make you doubt his feelings for you, ever.

Shidou or a kiss as an apology

He never really cared about making people angry, at least most of the time. It was more like entertainment to him. But if it was you? He hated it. He always had some trouble expressing himself in any other way than teasing or violence, but he tried his best so he could do things right with you. So making you angry was the last thing he wanted. 

He couldn’t even remember what he did, but apparently it was really bad because you had been giving him the silent treatment for days now. No matter what he tried to do, you kept on ignoring him, not even looking in his direction. He could cry to be honest. 

You were sitting on a chair, in front of your desk, when Shidou walked into the room. You knew it was him, because he was the only one walking in without even knocking at the door. You didn’t glance at him ; well you tried until you felt his hands on your legs, making you turn slowly in his direction. 

He was down on his knees, his fingers slowly stroking your legs as he began to leave soft kisses up to your knees. Between his soft touches on your skin, he was muttering sweet nothings about being sorry and promising to be more careful. 

“Please baby, don’t ignore me,” he pleaded silently, looking up at you to finally meet your eyes. Your fingers slowly reached for his cheek, brushing the skin which made him slowly move up so he could face you. He moved closer, his hands sliding up your thighs. 

His lips left a quick peck against yours, pressing just a little to be sure it was real. When he moved away, a grin suddenly appeared on his face. You looked away, hating how easily he could go back at you. He grabbed you out of nowhere, making you fall from your chair so you would join him on the ground. 

‘I’ll be good, I promise,” he told you as he nuzzled his nose against the skin of your neck, the smile never leaving his lips. You let your fingers run through his hair, sighing slowly. You couldn’t stay angry at him for too long, especially not when he was acting like this.

Kaiser or a kiss out of jealousy

He had never hidden the fact that he was a jealous man, even if he didn’t like the idea that he was this close to someone. Well, at first he didn’t like it, but now it was the least of his preoccupations. You were in the center of his mind and thoughts, and he always made sure that you were focusing solely on him. 

So when he saw you talking with that random dude, he felt his blood boiling in his veins. Yes, you had the right to talk to other men, he wasn’t that possessive (perhaps he was, but he wouldn’t say it out loud). But you were laughing a little too much and he was a bit too touchy with you ; there was no way he would let this happen. 

He walked back to you slowly, maybe too slowly ; he looked like a predator about to jump on his prey. He wrapped an arm around your waist when he arrived next to you, bringing you closer to him so the other guy’s hand would leave your arm. A light gasp left your lips and you looked at Kaiser with a little smile. 

Before you could say anything, he leaned closer to you so he could capture your lips in a second. His free hand cupped your cheek and your own found its way to his arm, pulling away not so far after he kissed you. You turned your head to glance at the other guy, just standing there in disbelief. 

Kaiser looked at him, slowly raising an eyebrow. “Don’t you see you’re not welcome now? Just leave already.” And the poor guy didn’t hesitate before he almost ran away from here. You looked back at your boyfriend, crossing your arms on your chest with a judging look as he simply shrugged his shoulders. At least, he had you all for himself now.

you gasped slightly when he pulled you up, you’re on his shoulder in a second 

you knew he was strong but welp, it’s still surprising to be carried like you weight nothing

he looks up at you, a bit worried when you suddenly held onto his arm

“you okay, baby?” you melted the second he spoke, quickly nodding to reassure him

he puts you down soon after, making sure you weren’t lying

thankfully for you, he loves you too much to say no for much longer if you keep pleading him 

not that he would admit it anyway, he just acts like he’s annoyed and says yes with a sigh

he likes to hold you, a big clingy boy secretly, so the idea of carrying you on his shoulder is not SO bad after all 

and you want to film it so you can show off to your little friends? fine for him, show them he’s better than their stupid boyfriends

carries you on his shoulder like it’s a piece of cake for him, and puts you down as easily 

“make sure to show it” he’s full of himself after seeing all smiley in front of the video

at first, fu is stiff and unsure how to respond, but eventually he relaxes and leans into her warmth, feeling safe for the first time in a long time. maybe he even hesitantly asks her to stay close for the rest of the night?

Fu hasn't known a peaceful sleep for a while. It had been trouble with nightmares over and over ; and it didn’t seem like it would stop anytime soon. Tonight was no different, as his poor body began to tremble. He woke up with a start, his breath hitching in his throat. Fu quickly brought his legs closer to his chest, trying to remain as silent as possible. This was exactly why he hated to be sleeping with other people ; he felt like a burden, even more than usual. 

You were peacefully sleeping next to him, your back facing him without having a single idea of what was going on. Well, until his nightmares woke you up too. You slowly turned around to have a look at him, all curled up on himself. You opened your eyes, sitting up so calmly that he could have almost not noticed you ; if he wasn’t completely terrified and aware of any sound around him. 

“Sorry…” He muttered under his breath when he noticed your eyes on him, but before he could add anything more, you gently patted him to come closer. His jaw slowly dropped as he looked at you in silence, not quite sure if you were being serious right now. He wasn’t used to having someone taking care of him, and he wasn’t even sure if he would be able to accept it the right way. 

Noticing the way Fu was hesitating, you opened your arm to give him another invitation to move closer to you. You really wanted to help him apparently, and he didn’t know how to react. So he did what seemed to be the most logical thing to do, he shifted closer to you. Gently, your arm got wrapped around his shoulders to bring him even closer. His face naturally rested near your neck, and he swore he could feel his heart missing more than a beat at the proximity. 

His whole body was tensed under your touch. The way your hand moved slowly up and down his arm to brush it in a comforting way, it made him wonder if you were not about to do anything bad to him at any second. That was what he was used to ; violence. How could it be otherwise with him? He had grown certain that it was the natural way of things. But apparently, you weren’t thinking the same as him. 

Little by little, he felt his body relaxing against yours. Your warmth was bringing him a comfort he didn’t know he needed. It was a strange feeling ; he never knew someone could be so gentle with him, and he felt himself getting a bit egoist for once. He nuzzled his nose in your neck, closing his eyes harder to relieve in nothing else but the feeling of your body close to his. 

His fingers were playing with the hem of your shirt, until he grabbed it a bit stronger. He slightly moved his head away from your skin so his face could turn up in your direction. You opened your eyes again to meet his gaze, and his voice came out hesitantly. “Can we stay like this… for tonight..?” He was afraid of your rejection, but the way your lips turned into a light smile made every bad thought disappear from his mind. 

“Come here,” you told him in a sweet tone, your arm bringing him with you as you laid back down on the bed. You wrapped both your arms around him, letting his body hide all he wanted against yours. You didn’t need to tell him twice as he completely melted against you. His arms had a strong hold around your body, holding onto you like his life depended on it. 

Fu never felt more at peace in his entire life before, especially not during the night. Your chest slowly rising and falling was like a lullaby to him which drifted him back to sleep in no time. It was the softest sleep he had in a while, probably he ever had even. He had no idea how he would be able to sleep without you now ; but it wasn’t the time to think about that.
