Queer Book Bundle

Hey Tumblr, it's the end of the year, which means me and a couple of my friends are doing a queer indie book bundle. Now more than ever it's important to support independent creators. Many of us in the bundle fall under the trans umbrella, and the bundle is hosted on a cool site called itch.io so your money will be going directly to creators instead of big corporations like the zon.

It also hosts TTRPGS, ebooks, physical books, and a couple other things. It's an incredibly robust site that values the people uploading projects to it, and one of the few safe places from censorship towards queer adult works and queer erotica. Highly recommend just checking it out in general, because there's a lot of cool shit to be found. If you can't buy the bundle reblogs are greatly appreciated! It's that time of the year!

Time to look over everything I've done this year and analyze how I feel about it.

I actually made a lot more art than I had expected this year. Completing 43 projects between my monthly angels, the cavity monsters and the miscellaneous commissions and personal projects.

I didn't get to do as much traditional work as I had hoped. The Medusa repaint mural I'm working on has been going slow, I do have a progress video but I haven't had the chance to edit and post it yet.

Artist Vs Art. Personally I don't think the faces I draw look like my own, if anything I draw faces that fit "typical" beauty standards. I'm hoping to diversify more next year, more face types, bodies, genders etc.

Obviously this isn't 100% accurate of all the pieces I made over the months but I do think this nicely shows all the different kinds of projects I did get to work on.

I hope everyone had a good 2024 and I'm excited to see what 2025 brings to the table!

I'll probably talk about my goals for that after the holidays.

Death never saw herself as something pretty, something desirable. Everyone hates death and what it takes from us. Everyone hates the silent reminder of their time here being ephemeral. Eventually, she’ll lead us to the Nowhere, Time takes everything, after all. She never understood how, from all beings, Life could value her so much. They were opposites in everything possible, with such different tasks.

“You give me meaning” he always said “What sense would I make without you?”

For Life, all the chaos, all the suffering, the celebrations, the tears, all the doubts and the laughs, it all made sense in her arms. The dark is only scary when you can’t hold a friend’s hand. But in their eternal task, they’re meant to stand as close and they’re apart. To feel each other’s warmth without ever reaching to touch their hands.

Death is the oldest daughter of Time, entrusted with the task of bringing him stardust filled souls once their living time is over. She’s just a messenger, the gatherer of stars, the friend that lends her hand in the last walk. Time is what really takes everything from us.

She knows her job walking souls from the mortal realm to the Nowhere is important, but she doesn’t value herself much. She thinks mortals hate her for the loss she brings, but she doesn’t realize they weren’t content from the very start. Life gets his fair share of hate and insults too.

Hello! I wrote a book and I think y'all will like it. It's for fans of Good Omens, Hannibal, Angels Before Man, and all the queer people who deserve financial compensation from the catholic church.

I present to you:

FIRST CREATION, a high heat queer horror novella with a trans angel MC and a queer demon LI!

FIRST CREATION is a love letter to fallen angels, to finding your place in the world, to connecting to religion in a way that works for you. To touch and peaches, and surviving horrible things, to finding a place to be holy if God won't give it to you. (it's also nasty, and about cannibalism and shame and guilt, too)

It's a 22k word (98 page) novella that you can read in one (or two, or three) sittings.
