Okay here’s my adhd question from the previous ask:

Does Wens say ‘I love you’ for the first time IN ENGLISH? Or would she say it in the language of love aka French? Or would she say it in Spanish? Or Latin? Or??? Like so Enid doesn’t know what she’s saying? Haha. I adore the thought.

That said - given Enid’s music tastes and internet savvy she might know the French words and maybe Spanish too. But I dunno. I’m just spitballing now.

hmm. i think you have a point. maybe the first time she says it, it’s in spanish. she’s so frazzled by her own emotions and the buildup of the moment that her brain switches to her native tongue. and when enid gives her a small, warm smile and says “what?”, wednesday just •_• blue-screens, because she didn’t mean to say it in a different language. and now the blunder makes her feel even more vulnerable, and she’s tempted to run. but enid—who definitely knows what “te amo” means in english—immediately says it back and kisses her all gentle and sweet. just an idea.

i know as their relationship progresses, wednesday definitely tells her she loves her in french, which is her attempt at wooing her, lol. and she definitely says “i love you” in other languages more often than not, because it makes her feel a little less vulnerable, maybe, at first. but yeah, i don’t know, i could definitely see her telling her she loves her in spanish first!
