idk if its just me but we need more relationship reveals in ao3 fanfics. there are less than 4000 fics on it it can literally be anything too like if you don't like writing crack you can easily make it angsty or fluffy or smutty if that's your thing. like it's such an open possibility and looks super fun to write (and super fun to read) and its such a neglected tag. it doesn't even need to be long either, just a simple oneshot PLEASE START WRITING UNDER THIS TAG PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THIS IS ME BEGGING

tw: death, abuse, dazai-typical suicide and self harm mentions(?) slight inspiration from i was screaming your name through the radio by electricsplatter. definitely recommended DAZAI dazai, originally shuuji tsushima, would be signed under the port records as a child (around 10 or 11) due to his parents. because of his understanding in writing, reading, and singing music, he would quickly be placed as an executive at the ripe age of fifteen. he would be pressured by mori and manipulated into doing a lot of the work. dazai's parents signed him to the records because they weren't in a stage to take care of him, nor did they really want him. mori would take advantage of his mental health and do what most managers did: be forceful of the music that dazai produced and the shows. although being considered a prodigy, before the single of double black, he only recorded one EP of five songs. he only did a few shows, since he didn't like singing the songs and pretending with so many people in front of him, despite the popularity. because of the abuse he received from mori and his parents, he would project it on akutagawa. he would be harsh and always criticize him. at about seventeen, he would meet ango and oda. ango would be the one keeping all the contracts for the port records, while oda would be a simple lyricist for the smaller artists of the record. oda would be cut out from the record because of the emotional attachment dazai had to him. it would be about oda getting cut out of the records would be a turning point for dazai. he would finally understand that the port records wasn't a good place for him. despite his contract extending until twenty, he leaves the place, laying low until his contract officially ended. after that, he'd sign with the armed entertainment agency. he would initially just do paperwork and be a lyricist for kunikida. after a month or so, he starts recording singles and albums. he quickly becomes popular, and although only having three albums, earned lots of money on the tour he had. SOUKOKU their relationship would have tons of ups and downs. since they are both famous singers, they aren't looking for anything to stir up the people watching them. chuuya would feel somewhat betrayed that dazai left the port records, but would understand that it was a toxic environment for him. to him, the record company felt more empty without him. their relationship would take a turn when dazai went to one of chuuya's concerts at nineteen, when he was supposed to be 'laying low'. chuuya realizes that dazai still exists and hasn't killed himself or anything, and that sets him off. ("not a single text? not even one, dazai?") following this, they'd continue to bicker and fight. their relationship would receive publicity. the only time where they finally get it resolved is when dazai adds a love song labeled with his name on a new album, which makes the streams and famousness skyrocket, as well as conclude their feelings.

tw: death, abuse, dazai-typical suicide and self harm mentions(?) slight inspiration from i was screaming your name through the radio by electricsplatter. definitely recommended to put it into words: dazai as a pop singer (like harry styles, if you will) and chuuya as guitar player/backup vocalist in a rock band (like måneskin). the port mafia would be renamed to something like the port records, while the armed detective agency would be the armed entertainment agency. or something a record labeling company would be called CHUUYA chuuya's past with stormb ringer would probably be a band in college, while the sheep would be a high school one. the flags, as the band would be called, would separate because of a car accident or some other issue that leaves them either dead, like in canon, or some sort of disability that prevents them from being able to be a band. after his success with the sheep, the band would fight among the earnings. the fight would be something between shirase and chuuya. the sheep would accuse him of trying to go solo since he was working with dazai in the port records. they would kick him out, leaving chuuya no choice but having to sign as an independent artist. onto the arahabaki plot; the reason that chuuya was working with the port records was because he was looking for records of a previous famous singer that signed with them. chuuya only remembered fragments of his childhood, but he remembered having a famous parent. his mother would be arahabaki. the reason this reflects on chuuya is because he would take a lot of singing practice as a child, his mother basically making that his only talent. he would hate it as a child, and as a result, his mother would keep forcing it upon him through various means of abuse. with music being engrained into his mind even after his mind let go of those memories as a coping mechanism, it both destroys him and makes him prevail in the port records after he signs. dazai and chuuya would work together after chuuya signs with the port records at sixteen. at first, dazai is tasked with vocal training and making sure that chuuya would be ready for a new debut album. however, mori sees a vocal compatibility between the two. because of this, after chuuya's debut, dazai and chuuya release a single, called double black. chuuya's debut would gain quick attention after the single blew up. chuuya would quickly be placed under the flags, and then after that, a band consisting of higuchi, gin, kajii, tachihara, and akutagawa. i haven't decided the name but you get what i mean there will be a p2 for dazai and skk.

I love the idea of a no abilities au where dazai is an artist and chuuya is a photographer. Imagine: a café with decorations that include both Chuuya's photography and Dazai's art and they are both horrified

Grians appearance / skin never changing no matter what life he’s on has to be symbolic of something, just hear me out.

He’s really the same person in and out whether he’s red life or not. He can be just as cruel, just as blood thirsty. It doesn’t affect him the way it affects everyone else. The way other red names will go mad and their eyes will turn that blood red color, Grians eyes will remain those same beady brown beads they were before he died. Whether he’s your friend or your worst enemy, he will look at you with his tiny innocent eyes. His red sweater will not change color, perhaps the red motif in every design shows that he if Grian wants you dead, you will be dead whether he’s on red name or not.

I think I can also use this idea to add to the Grian watcher theory. The lives don’t change his thoughts in the same way, not having as much control over him. With his higher level of knowledge and inner workings of their world, he uses the lives to his advantage. Always reminding people “he’s on red life, he’s allowed to do that.” But Grian himself doesnt actually feel that change. He will push people from cliffs, lure creepers to his friends side till they explode, whether he is green yellow or red. Because at the end of the day, despite that horribly red colored sweater, Grian is the color purple. Always a watcher.

this, but with a sequel for atsushi and akutagawa- they've just started college and hate each other, but also admire each other. dazai used to be akutagawa's tutor when he was in high school, but couldn't take him up anymore because he got busy with college, chuuya, and his job. dazai started tutoring atsushi after akutagawa, and now akutagawa always tries to be the best in class so his favorite upperclassman would notice him (atsushi is always close second, except for a few times he was first). they both start working at the same café coincidentally, and always show each other that they're doing harder/more difficult work in a subject than the other, and soon chuuya gets completely fed up with them and makes them apologize to each other (like the mother he is) and punishes them by making them sit in the break room for an hour, to talk and get over it. after that encounter, atsushi and akutagawa don't fight as much, but still bicker from time to time. chuuya soon realizes that it's similar to the way dazai and him used to treat each other (nicknames like jinko and rabid dog were slightly similar to mackerel and slug). akutagawa and atsushi have some encounters, like atsushi doodling him on his homework, and akutagawa buying him drinks at the café when it's his break time. soon it all adds up to them confessing. dazai knew that this would happen, since he in fact was at the café when he saw them bickering and realized that atsushi and akutagawa were in fact gay. (this was my first time writing a plot with bsd.. i got your tumblr off of skk smut with it linked)
