if buffy did an April Fools Day episode I can only assume that it would be about how it's named after the titular April Fool, one person each year who magically becomes the Unluckiest Person Alive for the whole day, and after it not coming up for 90% of the episode we find out it was Xander but nobody noticed a difference

Standing in front of a fan when you’re hot feels like a weird liminal space. You’re in this cone of cool air in an otherwise stifling environment. The blast of relief from the boiling smog around you brings a welcome oblivion for a few moments as your stress is blown away, if only briefly. You know it looks strange as you just stand there in this sanctuary (sanctu-air-y?), but no one can ever fault you for it. You let yourself go, and are at once judged and pardoned.
