8 Ways Marvel’s “Logan” is the The Last Of Us movie that we’ll probably never get (SPOILER WARNING)

Okay, I went and saw Logan tonight and I must say I’ve been moved in a way I haven’t in a long long time. I don’t think any superhero movie I see in the future will be able to top it in such a way. But enough boring stuff about me. As I was watching this wonderful film, I couldn’t help but notice how strikingly (and quite scarily) similar the plot and movie itself was to my favorite game of all time, The Last Of Us. THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING, THE LIST WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE AS WELL AS THE LAST OF US. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

1- The film follows Logan, a guy who’s aging and has been out of the loop for a while due to previous tragedies. Sounds an awful lot like Joel.... 

2- The old guy is suddenly thrust back into the action because of a pre-pubescent girl. 

3- The person who tells the old guy how important the girl is is killed. 

4- He is then tasked with transporting the girl across the country. 

5- To a sanctuary of sorts. 

6- Along the way, they meet some African American characters. 

7- Both of which die. 

8- In the end, the old guy makes the ultimate sacrifice, while the little girl is saved. 

Basically the Last of Us movie we’ll never get.

True vengeance

In high school a girl made a Facebook status calling me ugly and getting people who hated me to ‘like’ it, so the next day I sneaked into a few of her classrooms, found her coursework and books for each subject and binned them all. A few days later I watched as she cried when she was told she had to redo 4 months of work for 3 different subjects.
