‘The Treasure of the State’ ‘Rich with history, Treasure, Nevada is a diverse city with families dating back to the 1700’s and has grown to a whopping size of an estimated 250,000 year round residents. With differing climates and a variety of neighborhoods, Treasure is the mild version of its cousin down south, Las Vegas. Missing the densely populated streets and smog, this popular tourist destination instead has something for everyone.’ Waste Love is a *jcink premium* slice of life role-play with common themes of: criminal activity and celebrity lifestyles. Starting points such as various sub-plots and listed canon characters provide an easy route to join the fun, but original and wanted characters are also heavily encouraged. Established back in 2022, our community has only grown smaller and we’re looking to jumpstart activity and begin expanding once more. GRACE KNIGHT | 23 | KIERNAN SHIPKA / OPEN

Lucien always had the softest spot for his little sister. His little Gracie. After being kicked out at fifteen, the two of them lost all contact. Lucien was living on the streets, having an extremely tough go of it, and when he was finally able to get out he was gone. Though consumed with different varieties of guilt and shame, the fact that he never contacted her even when he’d finally gotten to a stable place has haunted him and will continue to haunt him until the day he dies. It would be so easy to track her down, to find her number and send her a text or just call her, but something has always been holding him back. Maybe he believes she hates him for abandoning her. But in reality, Grace had been old enough to know that what her father and her stepmother did was wrong. Lucien was just a kid and they’d gotten rid of him like he was nothing more than a fly to swat. I imagine that, for her, living in that house was suffocating. She loved her father, but her stepmother was insufferable and fake, it was a miracle Grace hadn’t been kicked out as well. But she survived by keeping to herself and only showing a more open version of herself whenever she was with friends or at school. Grace has always been bright and shining and smart and generous. Lucien misses having her light in his life more than anything and he would do anything to get that back. However they cross paths is up for discussion. I never specified his hometown, though I imagine that it’s close enough to Treasure that it wouldn’t be out of this world for her to move to the city as well. They were always close, and finding each other again, well, it would be good for both of them. I headcanon that she's married and once they reunite, she'll want to have another ceremony with him present. Grace is open to a lot of interpretation, this ad is written from my and Lucien’s perspective but feel free to make her however you’d like if you’re interested. I used Kiernan Shipka as a suggested face but anyone will work, just let me know! Her name as well can be changed, "Grace" is just a placeholder! Days before Graciana’s sixth birthday, their mother and father had ushered the two Ortecho children out of the house in the middle of the night and that was the last they ever saw their father. Tijuana, Mexico had been a dangerous place for their family, simply because their father was a foolish man and had gotten involved with the wrong people. After they’d illegally crossed into the United States, news had spread of Matías Ortecho’s murder. They were given new identities - the last name Lozano - and were expected to integrate themselves as quickly as possible into American society. Graciana’s older brother, Matías Lozano Jr. (named after their father), had an easier time of it than she did. He was a natural when it came to learning English and was very sociable with his peers. Graciana had struggled in school due to a learning disability that had gone unnoticed, and had suffered through years and years of relentless bullying. She was an angry kid, despite the fact that she always had her family in her corner. After barely managing to graduate, she ended up leaving San Diego to explore the country and to give herself a chance at life, more than what she had at home. She’d promised both her brother and their mother that she would come back, that eventually home would call to her, but Matías had seen right through her. He’d always been very good at reading her like a book, but he also knew that this was something she thought she needed to do, so he let her go. Graciana has been gone a little over three years now. For the most part, she tried to check in periodically, sending those “I’m okay” texts every now and again, but over the past few months, there has been zero contact from her. Matías, being the overbearing brother that he is, is undoubtedly worried as is their mother which has come to affect her health so he’s made it his mission to find his sister and make sure she’s still alive, if nothing else. Graciana grew used to never leaving a paper trail behind her, but knowing her brother, he would be the one person able to track her down where she now resides in Treasure. Feel free to change his name and interpret this as you will, I'm always open to ideas and love hearing what other people can come up with, but one thing that needs to stay the same is that he’ll come looking for her and will end up in Treasure as well. I used Diego Boneta as a suggested face but so long as he is Mexican or of Spanish descent at the very least will work! Make sure to read Graciana’s history in her profile for more information!

This little lady is one of the only people that Rio can hang out with without it seeming kind of one-sided. She was undoubtedly the first person that knew he was gay, perhaps without him even knowing it himself at the time, considering they went through school together and have known each other for a long time. He most likely confessed to her that he kissed a boy and she was super mature and like, "And how did that make you feel?" while waiting for him to figure it out. To put it simply: she's helped him through a lot. After Rio was kicked out at sixteen, he kind of jumped around from place to place couch surfing, until he was able to get a few jobs and save up for a shitty apartment. Her house was probably one of those, and probably the place where he was the most comfortable until he felt so guilty that he needed a break. He's eternally grateful to her for everything that she's done for him and that she continues to stick by his side through thick and thin. Everything about her is pretty much open but I imagine her to be really understanding and gentle with him and maybe it's kind of a side that he only gets to see but that's completely up to interpretation. This is open to new and existing characters, so long as said character is twenty-five and has lived in Treasure since at least high school. February of 2017, Quinn and Kellen Haynes welcomed their new baby daughter into the world, Iris Haynes. After careful deliberation, they named Quinn's best friend, Beau Raven, as the godfather and Kellen's younger sister, First Haynes, as the godmother. It was written in their wills that if anything were to happen to the two of them, Beau and First would have split custody of their daughter, the only two people in the world that they trusted enough to take the responsibility as seriously as possible. February of 2018, Beau Raven was on a call that involved the lives of three of the most important people he cared about. Quinn and Kellen Haynes were on a Sunday drive with their - newly one-year-old - daughter, when they were involved in a head-on collision. When fire and paramedics arrived, Beau was one of the first on the scene, only to discover that his best friend and her husband were pinned in their seats. Iris was relatively unscathed. After direction from Quinn, Beau got their daughter to safety first, but as soon as they were a far enough distance from the vehicle, the engine burst and they ended up passing in the explosion. The funeral was held a few weeks later and when the will was read (plus other court documents and the like), Beau and First were now officially co-parents of Iris Haynes. They split custody 50/50, one week here, one week there. Alternating or joint holidays. They also made the decision to change her last name so she was officially Iris Raven. Beau looks at First like a little sister and is probably overbearing in the sense of trying to be an older brother to her. He is incredibly overprotective, mostly because he's sick of people dying around him. Now with custody of two girls, his plate is a little full, but he still goes through life as optimistic as ever. Like a golden retriever. He and First get along, they like each other and they are amazing co-parents together. There's never been anything more between them and their relationship has always been strictly platonic. I headcanon that they live apart (hence the one week here, one week there), but if it would be easier for them to be living together, we can totally make that work. Everything about First is mostly open to interpretation. Her family / history, her name, her age, her face, and her personality (though I imagine her as pretty sunshine-like). As far as founding families go, the Walker family has the most enriched history out of the entire town and continues to hold an infamous reputation rife with violence and crime. They settled into Treasure in 1850 and were the first family to ever do so, thus the beginning of their complicated history with the growth of the city.

Most notable for the family dates back to Harvey and Quincy, the twins that worked the mine. Where two twins went in on that fateful day in 1961, only one twin remained. Quincy went on to have a child with his brother's wife as well as take in his two nephews.

James, Roman, and Damien - the infamous three.

These three were the masterminds behind The Greeks, the local crime syndicate in Treasure and soon enough took the city as their own while it continued to grow under their thumb. Then in 2014, Roman murdered his brother, James, and framed his nephew, Christian, for the crime. But in his new powerful life, Roman grew bored and when word of his nephew's sudden release started to spin around the rumor mill, he skipped town and took up ship down south in Las Vegas.

With Christian wanting to take his rightful place at the head of the table, how far will his uncle go to ensure that doesn't happen?

DAMIEN WALKER | 58 | OPEN FACE CLAIM

Damien Walker is arguably the least involved of the three brothers that originally founded The Greeks. As the youngest and the only brother with a different father, he was treated as an outcast his entire life. Not that he minded. Naturally a lone wolf, Damien preferred keeping to the shadows and staying out of business that was sure to get him in trouble. Though blindsided by the murder of James, he did little to try and punish his older brother, knowing that any of his efforts would inevitably be futile. When Roman decided he was destined for bigger and better things, he advocated and filled pockets to ensure Damien would become the new mayor of Treasure. In this new position, he's meant to observe and report on top of those usual mayoral duties. But with his nephew back in town, Damien wonders if he'll be a bullet on that list of revenge

CHRISTIAN WALKER | 32 | JACK FALAHEE

The product of an illicit affair, Christian Walker was a scandal before he could even say his first words. Abandoned by his mother, he clung to his father and eventually idolized him. This was to the point that Christian was determined to walk in his father's footsteps. Learn the family business. But his uncle, Roman, never liked him and in 2014, he was finally on the receiving end of that hatred. His father: murdered. And now, he was sentenced to death. Seven years later, suddenly, he's released. Never having been on the path of revenge when he knew he was going to be executed, Christian now had to find a new purpose for himself in life. So, back home, back to Treasure, back to take what is rightfully his.

--- WALKER | 29 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

First Walker was the product of an affair between her mother and a passing through James Walker, something her “father” held over her head with every passing opportunity. She was treated poorly compared to her half-siblings who were not born out of wedlock and adultery, and after years of tolerating the abuse and neglect she ran away. Treasure was a small enough city that she wasn’t on the streets for long before she became involved with The Greeks, Hera found her huddled in an alleyway and took her in without realizing who she was at first. She had lived with the woman for six months before James ever saw her, but when he did the recognition was instant - her facial features all too similar to his own, her eyes a mirror image of his. She moved in with her real father and the only person she would call a sibling in this world soon after that. Things weren’t perfect by any means but she had her father and her brother and it was more than she could ask for. When both of them were suddenly ripped away from her she was back to living with Hera, needing the support more than anything as she began her work for the gang. It wasn’t what her father would have wanted for her, it was the last thing he would have wanted, but it was how things played out. She began working with Hera, training under her and taking over small operations and tasks to help the woman grow her skills. She didn’t know the truth about her father’s death until she mustered up the courage to confront her brother, never having truly believed the lies Roman Walker spilled out. She was determined to save Christian but had no idea how to start and while she did what she could there wasn’t much left to try and fix with his execution date quickly approaching. As time passed she grew in the ranks of the gang and took over a few of their bigger operations, lessening the load on Hera and increasing it on herself.

Having settled in late 1852, the Daniels family bought out most of the land available at the time, thus becoming the main shareholder of real estate in the area for many years, even as the population and development of the city grew to exponential heights. As more land in the city was procured and fully built up, the Daniels family soon became the largest real estate brokers in the region. As they grew in size, their wealth climbed higher than ever, with record highs being reached nearly every year.

The market saw a severe crash in 2008 that nearly forced the Daniels into bankruptcy, but with unparalleled tenacity and some extra cushion under their belt (wink, wink), they managed to pull through. Each of the Daniels children in the current generation is part of the family business in some way, shape, or form, except for the youngest. They work out of the main office that's located in Harding Heights and the great Daniels family estate is located in Hidden Valley, one of the most sought-after properties in all of Treasure.

--- DANIELS | 37 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

Firstborn to Sheila Daniels and David Hill (who took his wife's last name in the marriage), First Daniels has the largest share of the pot, so to speak. Being the eldest, she saw it as her duty to properly carry on the family name and has thrown herself into her work ever since she decided that real estate and land development were her future. But with work being her main focus, her personal life has fallen to the backburner and it's only a matter of time before that catches up to her.

--- DANIELS | 32 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

Like her sister before her, First Daniels tried to follow in her sibling's footsteps. She was eager to please the family, to make mommy and daddy happy. But no matter how hard she tried, she was never as successful as her sister and this has led to a sort of resentment connected to that fact. She continues to work in the family business but has chosen not to make it her entire life, her personal affairs often taking up the core residence in her day to day.

--- DANIELS | 29 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

Being the youngest of the Daniels children, First never saw the point of following in her sister's footsteps. She wanted to live and live well and despite the protests of her parents, she ultimately got her wish. She went on her own path and though she dips into the family funds a little too often, no one blinks an eye. She's the baby, why not just let her have fun?

Born to Robert Daniels and Eva Stewart, First Daniels is a cousin to the current generation of the land-developing family and thus has little to no claim over the family title. They work within the business but are nowhere near at the status of their cousins, but whether that bothers them or not is entirely up in the air.

The Smith family settled in Treasure by pure happenstance in 1856 and has been a part of the community ever since. They were some of the first doctors to settle in the region and they spread their knowledge of the human body and its separate systems far and wide to ensure that everyone could benefit from it.

But while the Smiths were experts in the operating room, Benjamin was strict in the household, with certain expectations that he wanted his children to follow. When his youngest refused, well, let's just say it didn't go well and they've been estranged ever since. The man has always been focused on image and reputation and bettering your skills so that you're wanted by everyone. But only his one son turned out exactly like him, his eldest having a more kind heart and a penchant for making the people around him feel content rather than uneasy.

The wealth of the Smith family has only grown as more and more children are born, as generations are being made. They may not be like the Daniels, but they have a steady well and trust funds for all of their children, with the intent being that they will pass on the favor to their own kids one day. It's a shared trust between all of them that no one will drain the family dry, though its a miracle they've still stuck to that over the years.

--- SMITH | 38 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Eldest child to the Smiths, it was essentially a requirement that he follow in his father's footsteps but it was lucky that he ended up falling in love with medicine and wanted to do his part in giving back to the community by healing people. Though not as deftly talented as his younger brother, First does his part and finds the chaos of the emergency room is where he feels the most comfortable and in his element.

--- SMITH | 33 | MALE FACE CLAIM

First had a natural talent for medicine. With an IQ that was unparalleled to his peers and a near photographic memory, he excelled in all of his classes growing up and it was no wonder he graduated medical school at the top of his class. Though he's incredibly boastful about it, bragging about his success and pouting about his failures. He may be more skilled than his older brother but with an attitude like that, you can easily guess who's the favorite.

--- SMITH | 27 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Black sheep of the family, First Smith, wanted nothing to do with the "family business" and because of his resistance to the cause - as his father so nicely put it - he was cut off from the family funds and forced to forge a path for himself. He did so fervently and has become something of an accomplished artist around the city. With the Smith name plastered everywhere, you would think his father would be proud. Well, think again.

Firstborn to Petunia Smith and Carl Powell, First is the farthest thing from a doctor or medicinal expert - except for when it comes to recreational kind. They're completely content with coasting by on their parent's coattails, reaping the benefits from multiple generations of highly skilled doctors that have paved the way for a very wealthy lifestyle. Unlike their younger sibling, they really have no direction in life.

First Powell is the younger of the two Powell children but carries all of the ambition and determination in their family. After seeing their older cousins thrive in the medicinal field, they wanted a piece of the metaphorical pie and though they aren't the best when it comes to studying, they are hellbent on making sure their dreams come true. They resent their older sibling for mooching off their family but alas, there's really nothing they can do about that.

Despite being one of the later families to settle in the city, in the year 1860, the Lawson family quickly involved themselves in the local community and is still very active today. Coming from a long line of law enforcement, the current chief of police is a Lawson and his younger brother - currently a detective - is expected to follow in his footsteps when the time comes. In addition to their involvement with the local police, their cousins have taken up the mantle and both pursued careers in emergency services.

While not the most wealthy, the Lawson family has always advocated for tradition and is tight-knit, especially due to some untimely deaths that changed the dynamic forever. They're all very involved in their local communities and have even been the ones to host fundraisers and other events for the city on behalf of making more money.

--- LAWSON | 42 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Ever since The Greeks were established within the city of Treasure and their power among the people grew, the police department has been on their payroll, overlooking their activities in favor of fatter pockets to dip into. Like his father before him, First Lawson, also known as the current Chief of Police, continues to turn a blind eye as he focuses on other crimes in the city. Aside from an officer here and there, the entire force is corrupt so what's the use in trying to fight it?

--- LAWSON | 36 | MALE FACE CLAIM

First never expected to follow in his family's footsteps, never truly having an interest in law enforcement and the crime syndicate that evidently makes the police their bitch. But with no real direction in life, he fell into the position and before he knew it, he had already finished the academy. Now a working detective, First has grown in his position and even come to enjoy it. But it had never been his dream and even when he's sure to become chief of police in the future, it never will be.

--- LAWSON | 28 | OPEN GENDER

First Lawson was adopted at the age of two by Charles Lawson and his partner, Nathan Peters. After Charles' tragic and sudden death in 2016, First began to overcompensate for the loss and was soon consumed with the desire to go into emergency medicine. As such, they ended up changing majors to study to become a full-fledged paramedic, and if they had known what they know now, perhaps they could have saved their father from his demise. But, of course, that is wishful thinking but nothing in the world is enough to remedy self-blame that deep.

--- GORDON | 36 | OPEN GENDER

Born to Madison Lawson and Andrew Gordon, First may not be an official part of the current generation, but they are still certainly following in the footsteps of the ancestors that came before them, just on a different track. The local fire department is known for being the best in the region, if not the best in the state, and First themself has won awards for their excellence in the field. Their interest in the field stems from the death of their father back in 2007, a fatality of a local arson that claimed five lives.

The Fleming family stems from a long line of lawyers, back when apprenticing and "reading law" was all you needed to become a successful business partner. They settled in the city of Treasure back in 1865, but unlike the Cohen's that settled at the same time, they came in guns blazing. Their unorthodox way of approaching the courtroom has since earned them a cutthroat reputation and each of the sons part of the family is successful in their branch of law, all of which are different but all important to the family image.

The family works out of their main business known as Fleming & Sons Law, which was properly established in the early 1970s and has only continued to grow with every court case that they take under their belt. But within the family, each of the sons is vying for the spotlight, wanting to be the best and the brightest, without their siblings to dim their light. When they should be working as a team, they're shutting each other out and placing bets to see who'll win their next case.

--- FLEMING | 32 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Contrary to what one might think, the eldest of the Fleming children is the least bit interested in his success and is more interested in helping the public than furthering his reputation as being the best of the best. He's a family man at heart and has been ready to start one of his own for many years, and yet he just hasn't found the right person to settle down with. He usually takes on cases pro bono and is the only one of the family to take on death row inmates as clients.

--- FLEMING | 27 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Whereas the majority of his siblings went the criminal defense route, First chose to stick his hand into the pot of corporate law. Ruled by whose pockets are the deepest, you would think that he's gotten his hands dirty from time to time. A bribe here for a false testimony, money here to supplicate the potential for getting sued. But rather, First is dedicated to winning cases the right way, and has a good reputation for doing so.

--- FLEMING | 24 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

As the only woman among her brothers and one-half of the twins, First Fleming has taken it upon herself to prove that she can be just as ruthless and determined as them, if not even more. She was the youngest in the family and the only who passed the bar exam on the first try, as opposed to two or three times like the majority. She's prideful and often comes across as cold but can be just as bubbly as the next person. She just likes winning and she does it very, very well.

--- FLEMING | 24 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Technically the youngest of the Fleming children, First has always been in a perpetual fight with his older siblings about who is the best. He followed in his sister's footsteps and took up criminal cases but finds that he's second to her in every way. Her name is well-known and he is an afterthought, which makes him nothing short of furious. He knows that he's better than her so why can't he convince everyone else of that?

Born to Isaac Wagner and Natasha Fleming, First is far from the lawyer childhood that their mother grew up learning about. They find law boring and the justice system so incredibly screwed that there's no point in trying to remedy it. As an only child, they were incredibly spoiled and as such have grown up with an ego the size of Texas but still manage to seem incredibly charming in spite of their entitlement.

The most quiet of all the founding families, the Cohen's are old money and as soon as they settled back in 1865, they invested their money everywhere they could. Throughout the years, those investments have paid off far more than they ever imagined and they now stand as one of the wealthiest families in the region.

With Christopher and Melody only seeing the birth of a single child, they expected the family name to die off with their son after he announced that he would never marry. Later on in life, he met his now-husband, Matthew, and once gay marriage was legalized, they were one of the first in the courtroom. Ever smart with their money, they continue to play it safe with their investments and have since adopted two girls into their family to make themselves whole.

--- COHEN | 20 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

All First has ever known is life with her two dads and she never saw her life as anything different than her peers, though a few bullies would have said much differently. Laid back and the type of person to go with the flow, she somehow has a penchant for planning and has continued to excel in all her math courses throughout every school year.

--- COHEN | 19 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

First Cohen was adopted second within her family and she came to them already with a few years of trauma under her belt at the age of five. Up until the age of sixteen, she was voluntarily mute but has since gone through therapy and visits a speech specialist every few weeks to help with her pronunciation. While it took her a moment to adjust, she has since accepted the Cohens as her parents and would do anything for her family.

Rife with scandals and dirty family secrets, the Harding family is no different than any other political family in the world. They were the last founding family to have settled in the area, way back in 1874, and have since had a hand in the government of Treasure. Up until Damien Walker took over, the Hardings had been the longest line of mayors the city had ever seen. Alas, nepotism at its finest, right? But now the city is notched firmly under The Greeks thumbs and the Harding family is taking the brunt of the effects.

In addition to their effortless attempts to take back their rightful spot in the mayor's office, the Hardings are also responsible for most of the city's development, and they work closely with the Daniels family to help bring visions of the future for Treasure to life. If they ever expect to take back a piece of the city, they'll have to work together and we all know that none of the Harding children play well with others.

--- HARDING | 33 | FEMALE FACE CLAIM

So, here's the thing, First enjoys politics, especially a good conversation here and there but the corrupt city of Treasure is an entirely different story when it comes to running for the local office. Votes are bought here, not won over by public opinion and, well, First knows she could never really get behind that. But she plays along, if only for the sake of her father and to make sure she's not written out of the will once the time comes. She's a walking facade, most people would say, adapting to her surroundings but never quite showing the real person underneath.

--- HARDING | 30 | MALE FACE CLAIM

Though the middle child, First Harding was the first to take up the mantle in the family business, running for city office and securing his position as the Head of the City Council. His plans to overthrow Damien Walker and take his rightful place in the mayor's office have proved futile more than once over the past few years as he tries to set things up for the future, but the man will never stop trying, intent on taking the city back once and for all.

The youngest Harding child, First, is the manipulative one of the bunch. Suited up with their sharp tongue and quick wit, First is exactly the kind of person you would want playing the field. While she doesn't really have an interest in pursuing a political career, she is more than happy on the sidelines, aiding in her older siblings' dreams to ensure that the Harding name will never lose the kind of reputation it has now.

At age 10, First Harding was adopted by Taylor and Hope and was quickly indicted into all sorts of family affairs, including dinners, parties, and other displays that had everything to do with reputation and nothing to do with stable morality. It was due to this that First grew up to despise their lifestyle. The gossiping and the too stuffy outfits and the people that judged like it was nobody's business. Safe to say they didn't follow in their family's footsteps.

First Harding was adopted second to their sibling, at age 6, and adjusted much more easily to a life of painted smiles and mingling. Though with no interest in politics, First is happy to play the part of a doting child, content on being a socialite and playing cards with their peers. They love to gamble and party and are known to partake in other kinds of recreational activities too.

Born to Daniel Quinn and Anna Harding, First doesn't necessarily have a lot of sway over public opinion like their cousins do. But they have a charming smile and a knack for getting people to like them, making it pretty easy to fit people in their pocket should the time come they need to use them. They may stray away from actively supporting criminals but they know what needs to be done in order to be on top, simply depending on whether or not they're willing to do something they know they wouldn't be proud of.

WASTE LOVE REVAMP; 2024

Hello there! Waste Love recently underwent a quick revamp/refresh of the site to hopefully kickstart some activity. Here is a highlight to describe all of the changes we made:

PREMIUM MEMBER GROUPS | In addition to our 10 existing member groups, we've decided to offer SIX (6) premium groups that will be available to buy through our new points shop. Each group will cost 8000 points per character account. Head to the guidebook to read through them. If you'd like to know what colors they'll be, head on over to the BULLETIN BOARD.

POINTS SYSTEM/SHOP | With the inclusion of our new premium groups, we are also introducing a points system to allow members to buy certain features for their characters. Check out the POINTS SHOP to see how you can claim and what you can buy!

THE SHOP (AWARDS) | What else can you buy with points? Award badges of course! X-Marts The Spot is officially back open for business and has been stocked full with awards catering to all of your character's needs. Little icons have popped up around the site to provide easy access and all awards will be displayed under the "about" category of your character's profile.

EMOTICONS | After not having been able to use emoji's due to a skin issue, I (Lolly) was finally able to fix it and we are now able to provide them. These are meant to be used in text threads as you go through comms with your characters.

RULES UPDATE | The rules have been altered slightly including a decrease in free character slots while also providing the option to buy new ones as well as new activity rules that will include a bi-monthly sweep of the member list to ensure these are being met.

REQUESTS | New requests for businesses directly tied to The Greeks have been written, posted, and pinned within the "other" category in our requests forum. If you want to get in on the action for any of these, just post in the corresponding thread and a member of staff will add them to the list!

Hank and I are very excited about the changes we've made and we hope that with this revamp will come a new influx of members to potentially grow our community. -REGISTRATION-

Welcome to Waste Love! Thank you for taking the time to look over our site and our rules. To get started, please register your character account using all lowercase. In the case of names that generally have surnames before given names, please format it the way we would in the United States. (ex. ye-ji seo).

We don't allow duplicate first names. Please take a look at our MEMBER LIST to ensure that you don't create a character with the same name as someone else's! Duplicate last names are acceptable only in familial relationships/marriage. If you happen to make a mistake, you can use your user control panel to change it.

Our skin comes with both a dark and light mode, use the button in the top right corner to switch between the two depending on your own preference.

-CHARACTER CREATION-

Here on Waste Love, your first TEN (10) characters are free. Only two characters under the same alias are able to be submitted for approval at a time and please allow the staff team at least 24-48 hours to read and accept. Once past ten characters, you can continue to purchase new character slots using our points system to our cap of TWENTY-FIVE (25) total. As written in our points shop: character slots 11-15 are 8,000 points each, character slots 16-20 are 10,000 points each, and character slots 21-25 are 15,000 points each.

Claims need to be completed within a timely manner after your character has been accepted. If this is not done within 24-48 hours, the staff team will reach out to bring it to your attention.

In terms of face claims, all faces must be 18+. Faces that won't be accepted on the site are as follows: pornstars, Instagram models (i.e. not signed by an agency, not verified, or less than 500K followers), those of the deceased, those that have explicitly asked not to be used, or those who are surrounded by heavy controversy. If you're unsure about whether a face will be accepted, please reach out to a member of staff.

Our age rule is 5+/5-. Please make sure you adhere to this as we want to make sure your character looks the part. On Waste Love, we respect all gender identities and in order to ensure we are not erasing or disrespecting the people we look to for faces as well as our communities, we ask that faces remain aligned with the assumed persons' real gender identity.

Adding on to that, we don't tolerate white-washing of any kind so please make sure that your ethnicities correspond with that of the character's face. If you're unsure, you are welcome to reach out to a member of staff for help! Using a "blanket term" will also be acceptable (i.e. caucasian for a variety of ethnicities)

-PROFILE APPLICATION-

Here on Waste Love, our character application process is all done through your character’s profile. Please fill out all of the fields - which include character details, a freeform section, and a connection section. The freeform section doesn’t have a specific format, but please provide enough information so that we get a good idea of your character. If the staff team believes you haven’t written enough, they will reach out on Discord or through the PM system to let you know.

There are a few different images you’ll need to fill out including: a 200 x 100 gif, a gif icon, a 250 x 450 avatar, a square relationship gif, and a gif avatar that will need to be uploaded within your control panel. Images don’t necessarily resize but cropped within the correct shape will not appear distorted.

-ACTIVITY-

Here on Waste Love, we avoid a strict and pressuring environment regarding activity. We believe that roleplaying should be a fun hobby, a way to escape the perils that real life can conjure up as opposed to a demanding chore. Once it becomes something you have to do instead of something you want to do, it’s no longer enjoyable. Therefore, the only requirement we have regarding activity is one in-character thread post every 30 days for each character account that you control.

The staff team will perform an activity sweep bi-monthly to determine which character accounts are active and which aren't. Characters not meeting this requirement will be given a week-long grace period regarding posting. If, after that, they are still inactive, we reserve the right to completely archive and/or delete said character.

With all that being said, we know that sometimes life gets in the way. If you need to leave for an extended period of time, there will be a channel on Discord for courtesy reasons to alert the other members that you’ll be stepping away. Standard absences are three weeks and anything longer should be discussed with a staff member beforehand.

-JCINK PREMIUM-

As Waste Love is a jcink premium site, we will only be allowing members that are 18+ to ensure comfortability with certain content around the site. If we discover that someone is lying about their age, they will, unfortunately, be banned from the site and their character(s) will be deleted.

With our premium service intact, mature content and triggering content is allowed, but all threads that include as such will need to be marked with an [m] or [tw] tag. If you're unsure whether or not something will be triggering, feel free to reach out to a member of staff for help!

-TEMPLATES & AESTHETICS-

Here on Waste Love, we have matching templates to use around the site. We now have templates for anything and everything. We have threads, requests, comms, social media, a thread tracker, and development templates all for you to use! If a staff member discovers a post that isn't using one of the corresponding templates, you will be asked to change it. Thank you!

-BEHAVIOR & DISCORD-

On Waste Love, we work with a three-strike system regarding certain behavior. Your first two strikes are simply warnings to remind you what we will and won't tolerate in our community. However, upon receiving your third strike, you will be banned from the site altogether and your character(s) will be deleted. We want to create a fun and loving environment here on-site and in the Discord.

If at any point, after joining the Discord, you then leave the server with no communication (specifically if you're not on an absence), the staff will assume that you have left the site altogether and reserves the right to delete your character(s).

-GENERAL-

No god-modding. Don't try to control a character that isn't yours unless specifically discussed with the other member with which you're roleplaying. The most important rule, which applies to more than just our site, is R-E-S-P-E-C-T. The staff team wants to ensure that this community is a safe space for everyone who wants to join.

WELCOME TO TREASURE, NEVADA |

Welcome to Nevada, the state that represents the wild, the untamed, the natural. Known for its beautiful desert landscapes, rich history, vibrant nightlife, and many prosperous gold and silver mines, Nevada is a state enriched in culture and stories.

Treasure is a large city with a population of around 250,000 year-round residents that sits an hour East of the California border and half an hour North of Nevada’s state capital, Carson City. The city sits on a 200 square mile lake that provides the town with their water, tourism, and summer fun. Treasure is often called, “The Smallest Big City” and “The Treasure of the State,” in an apropos to the city’s name. If you’re looking for Vegas fun and nightlife without the densely populated streets and smog, then Treasure could be just right for you.

Nevada as a whole saw the start of mining and settling in the late 1770’s with Mexican settlers moving up into the area, but Treasure was an area that sat abandoned for years regardless. The city of Treasure saw the start of European settlers in the 1850’s, with the Walker family being one of the seven founding families. When the families discovered silver and gold in the hills, a mine was quickly set up in 1865, causing a boom of growth and development as the settlers began to mine the precious metal. Over the years the mine continued to expand into the mountains; the precious metals and minerals were plentiful and it helped aid the town's growth in population.

Now Treasure survives from tourism and their involvement with criminal enterprises. The mines have all been closed for various reasons but are frequented by paranormal thrill seekers and partying teens.
