"The Inner Self" How well do you know yourself? What about your inner self? This painting is a visual interpretation of the eternal struggle with oneself. The canvas depicts a lyrical face living in tandem with its demon— the personification of inner nature. We all strive for perfection, but deep down we know that there is no ideal. Our hidden weaknesses and secret sins are under scrutiny, as if someone invisible is controlling our every move, waiting for the moment to reveal our flaws. Outside there is bright chaos, a storm of emotions and a whirlwind of events, but inside there is silence and anxious expectation, a premonition of something inevitable. The contrast between the outer hustle and inner tranquility highlights how thin the line is between our true self and the masks we wear every day. This work is an invitation to dive into the depths of your soul, where fears, desires and real emotions are hidden, which rarely show themselves. This picture makes you wonder: will we ever be able to come to terms with our inner demons? Are we ready to look deep enough into ourselves to see what is hidden behind layers of self-deception?

"AZAT MARD" "Azat Mard" means "free human" in Armenian. In this picture, I tried to convey the state of Armenia, a country that has experienced many trials. The spilled bl0°d, personified in red, symbolizes a long and difficult struggle for freedom and independence. But despite the numerous wounds, Armenia remains steadfast, not yielding to darkness and chaos. The colors in the painting are not accidental and echo the symbols of the Armenian flag. Red is the memory of those who gave their lives to protect their homeland. Blue is the hope for the future, the bright sky that stretches over everyone who dreams of peace and unity. Orange represents the creative power of the people, their hard work and love of life, the ability to build new things and create even in conditions of devastation and despair. Perhaps at first glance the picture may seem gloomy and disturbing, but it does not just convey sorrow and pain. This is a reflection of the internal state of the nation, which, through suffering and loss, was able to maintain its strength of spirit and desire for freedom.

Marcy Wu seemed steadfast and confident, but her resilience crumbled before one person. It wasn't one of her parents, but her greatest fear—Darcy Wu. Marcy was brilliant at chess, but when the game turned into a battle of life and death, her analytical skills seemed to vanish. The field of this game was not a bloody fight but an ocean of tears and suffering. With each lost piece floating in this liquid, the water grew ever more crimson.

A powerful fear drove Marcy to make a fatal mistake: she lost two pawns in this game. But these were not just pieces on the board—they were her friends and loved ones. Two of her closest friends were now gone.

Darcy, playing the queen, and King Andrias checkmated Marcy. Despair overwhelmed her, and tears streamed down her face.

Defeated and broken, Marcy realized that her fear had consumed her. She was left alone in the crimson ocean, surrounded by the ghosts of those she had lost. And in that moment, she understood: sometimes a chess game is not just a game but a harsh reality where the price of a mistake is too high, and the outcome can be fatal.
