The idea here is Sapple would dig underground for safety but there isn’t any sunlight to grow down there so it would occasionally sprout up fo collect sunlight. If something it seems an enemy approaches it would violently shake causing small tremors and spreading pollen warning others to go back under, and spreading seeds to the ecosystem, go Sapple!

starting a project within the Camoto Region inspired by the creative liberties expanded in Gen9, Pokemon Amalgamations! Im giving them scientific names, and this beast is a fusion that came to represent a train carrying coal, pretty fitting for the season lol what do you think?

Iron Pilot is designed after fighter aircraft and has traded in its cannon for fancy energy missiles! When given Booster Energy, it instead functions like Arceus’s Legend Plate but for those 4 types only. Designing this guy took months and actually ate up a part of my soul so I’m just glad to be done with it lmao

So here’s something that’s been haunting me for months: some of Genesect’s Pokedex entries say Team Plasma “attached” a cannon to its back, but others say they “upgraded” the cannon that presumably was already on its back? Trying to make sense of that led me to the idea that Fatal Sting maybe had some sort of primitive stinger cannon that was replaced by a new one entirely. Used thorn bugs as visual and color reference.

I redesigned Meowscarada.

Humanoid Pokemon tend to be a hit or miss for me. Meowscarada's design is the biggest miss I've ever seen in my life. Never has a Pokemon design been so off-putting I felt the responsibility as an artist to redesign it. The cape and pants/legs contribute to the very awkward proportions of the design. And the eyes are just the icing on the cake. Hopefully you like my design, and if you prefer to original good luck Charlie.

Some Fakemon designs I finished up last month for spooky season! 

Goomy > Sliggoo > Goolossal I first designed the Goomy about a year ago and have been stalling on the evolutions ever since, but I’ve finally gotten to them. Felt fitting for a regional form that gains the Bug type to be based on parasites, leucochloridium to be specific!

Mermorbid “A certain Galarian researcher has stumped the scientific community with her discovery and revival of a supposed ancient mermaid-like Pokemon. The origin of this fossil is unclear.” Pretty much just imagine the Fiji mermaid crossed with the Galar fossils. Nobody remembers the original Pokemon so they think its a new species! :)

Impidimp > Morgrem > Grimmurk Based on the Toronto tunnel monster! They lurk dark sewers and probably smell like wet dog.
