identity is not inherently static, it grows with its wearer. you do not have the same interests, personality traits, dislikes, dreams, goals, ambitions, wants and needs as you did when you were a baby, or a toddler, or even a handful of years ago. as you grow and change, so does your identity. it ages like wine. it's not meant to stay the same for the rest of your life, if you find your manhood and womanhood develop and take different twists and turns over time, this is normal. if you find yourself feeling like different genders at different stages in your life, that's okay. if you find yourself ebbing back and forth between feeling cis and trans over the years, that's alright too. if you find you can't ever quite place if you're gay, bisexual, straight, or something else, that's chill. maybe you don't have to figure it out, or put it into words and labels, maybe you're just meant to experience it.

I did Barbenheimer and followed the near universal suggestion to see Oppenheimer first, then do a "Barbie chaser". I do actually kinda regret that. I LOVED both movies, don't get me wrong, as both a slut for period pieces and a slut for unique emotional cinematic experiences. I will tell you though, for folks with visual sensory issues, Oppenheimer is neat and pretty easy to watch from a visual standpoint, while Barbie blasts you with oversaturated colors and crowded, chaotic visuals. This isn't a critique, it perfectly matches the tone and style of the film, but just be aware, Barbie can get really overwhelming and tiring on the eyes. Happy watching, dear friends!

listen I say this with patience bc some people may genuinely have not thought about this before but if you firmly say “AI art is terribly unethical and steals from artists” (which is correct) but then turn around and use voice AIs to generate songs/voice lines that sound like your favourite voice actors or singers……………………………………that is also AI art and it is also terribly unethical

me: i don’t want to see jellyfish so i will blacklist the tag #jellyfish
people with no common sense: je11yf1sh, je11¥fi5h, j*llyf*sh, je//ÿf!sh, j3ï||yf¡sh, gel lee fisk
result: cannot account for the sheer amount of possible ways to alter the word jellyfish
conclusion: i have to see jellyfish now.
Once again, tumblr is not tiktok, tag properly.

this disability pride month, stop making jokes about people in wheelchairs standing up or walking.
can I stand and walk? sure, for a short while and with pain. the consequences for trying to be out all day without a wheelchair are that I'll be in bed for the rest of the week, too tired and in too much pain to move.
but the government won't give me my own wheelchair because they have the same attitude as these jokes - I can stand up, so I don't need one. exercise is good for you, you should walk!
it keeps me trapped in the house, unable to do anything more than short stints anywhere without borrowing or hiring a wheelchair - one that causes me pain to sit in and relies on someone to push me (usually with difficulty), because they're not going to have a high-end chair for that sort of thing.
it's not a miracle that a wheelchair user can stand or walk. it's something we should aspire to see more often.

What the fuck is this??????????
Folks: you CANNOT censor trigger tags. When you block a tag, it doesn't block other "spellings" of it. Writing it as "r@pe" or "r4p3" means that someone who has "tw rape" as a blocked tag will still see that post because you didn't wanna say the word rape. You are hurting people. Do not censor words, because people do not have those filtered out.
And honestly if you can't even write the word rape to protect other people then you probably aren't old/mature enough to be on this website.

There's an international Witcher larp called Witcher School which cooperates with CD Project to organize the event. There is also an organisation called Ordo Iuris that is probably sponsored by Kremlin, is responsible for restricting abortion law in Poland and for creating bills that helped to develop so called 'LGBT-free zones' in Poland. What these two random facts have in common you ask. And I answer. Anna Wawrzyniak who is in charge of organizing Witcher School is also a member of Ordo Iuris.
In case you wanted to attend Witcher School, please don't.

“TWN brought in all these SJW fans” yeah wild to think people who care about social justice would otherwise be stanning a man who dies defending dwarves from an angry racist mob

"They come for the elves, Yennefer. They'll come for the dwarves. And sooner or later, they will come for everyone. Anyone that they deem 'other,' so..."
This never hit so hard until now
