Sass Master Elsa - We were then shown another alternate version of the confrontation with different dialogue. After Elsa refuses to give the marriage her blessing Anna insists she doesn’t need her blessing anyway shouting “You’re not my mother!” to which Elsa replies “I may not be your mother, but I am your queen.” It was a very sassy exchange that generated lots of “Oohs” and “Ahs” from the audience [x]

State, local and mid-term election are the one of the last lines of defense to hold him at bay.

If it makes any of you feel better, Donald Trump will have an uphill battle to change the constitution. He will need:

-2/3 of Senators (60)

-2/3 of the House of Representatives (290)

-3/4 of the states (38)

In 2026, 33 senate seats will be up for grabs, and we’ll be able to vote for people who are against Trump and his ideals.

Breathe and remain hopeful because it’s not over. We can still fight and make Trump’s last four years hell.

Some good news in Virginia. We managed to keep the state blue for Harris.

Tim Kaine held his Senate seat against hardcore Trumper Hung Cho.

Jennifer McClellan held her 4th district House of Representatives seat against her Republican challenger.

Eugene Vindman won the 7th district House of Representatives seat.

Unfortunately voter turnout was down in spite of high numbers during early voting.

Our governor election is next year and we hope to take back the Governor's mansion with Abigail Spanberger. 🤞🏻

Some snippets of good news (sorry for no sources, grabbing things from Twitter here)

• New York and Maryland have passed measures to protect abortion

• Ruben Gallego is projected to defeat Kari Lake for a much-needed Democratic Senate gain in Arizona (replacing Kysten Sinema, who had become an independent)

• Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester will become the first woman and first black person to represent Delaware in the Senate.

• Angela Alsobrooks will become the first black woman to represent Maryland in the Senate.

• ^This is the first time 2 black women have been elected to the US Senate at the same time. Only 3 black women have served in the Senate before them: Carol Moseley Braun, Kamala Harris, and Laphonza Butler, who is a current Senator (D-CA).

*Update:

• Sarah McBride (D-DE) will become the first transgender person in the US Senate.

MAKE A WILL!!!

It needs to be airtight to make sure your partner gets your property and money. If there are children make sure the will clearly states who you want to have custody of them.

This isn't just for same sex relationships. Wives need to make sure they are protected by their husband's will. Make sure you are set up through your bank so in the event of your partner, or spouse's death you have easy access to bank accounts.

Make sure you have official copies of all important papers. Birth certificate, social security number, marriage license, property deeds, vehicle titles, adoption paperwork, divorce papers, custody agreements, etc.

Protect yourself and your family.

Before January 2025:

If you are a USAmerican in a relationship that might be affected by legislation that dissolves same-sex marriages, who may no longer be recognized as next-of-kin, especially if you have children, get your rights in writing!

Your marriage certificate may not be enough to prove you have rights to make medical decisions for non-biological children or for a same-sex spouse or partner.

Go to a lawyer, get it spelled out as clearly as possible that you have a voice in emergency medical and legal situations.

I've been texting for my local Dem Committee and some of the responses from MAGA are insane.

Some chick started with, "you need to read your Bible" then wrote a paragraph of some the most insane, hateful crap I've ever read.

But hey, she's a Christian. 🤷‍♀️

They are angry and scared, yet insist on remaining willfully ignorant of the world around them.

MAGA is angry and mean. They degrade everyone and threaten us with violence. They are a terrorist organization
