I've been laying around reading some history today. The things that we have believed over time are equally bonkers, sad, hilarious and fascinating. The Vikings believed in a thunder god with a big hammer. The Ancient Egyptians believed in a demon god with the head of a crocodile, torso of a leopard and hind quarter of a hippopotamus. The ruler of Angkor in what is now Cambodia humbly believed he himself was a God-King and now that we have 'wisened up' millions of us around the world believe that if we follow the antics of a family of Kardashians our lives will somehow be all the better for it?!? What a fascinating, wacky species we are.
