When a character doesn’t realize they’ve been, like, shot or whatever and they hand brushes against their side and comes away wet with blood, and they’re just staring at it like wtf is this and then their knees just totally give out on them and they sink down, maybe gasping a little as the reality finally hits them. That’s good stuff.

3:30 - Sherlock dislocates his own shoulder getting out of a straitjacket - Watson resets it for him

Elementary Whump Log

I recently started watching Elementary and was shocked at how small the fandom is and how few fics there are on ao3. And! there are only two entries on the Whumpapedia - so as I'm watching the series from the beginning I'm logging anything that I see as whump via a spreadsheet and then via posts and then submitting them to the Whumpapedia document when I'm done.

Here's Sherlock Whump from episodes 1x1 -> 1x3 (spoilers abound)

Self-induced T-bone car crash, minor cuts on forehead from window shield shattering, ends up in holding cell (35:56)

Slapped across the face (no significant damage) (discusses with Joan in the car after) (27:15)

Shoved a police officer while in an emotional state - slammed up against a wall and detained as a result (34:00)

Tells a story about being physically bullied while in school - minor emotional whump, implied that the story is true. (17:30)

Multiple comments abt him not sleeping/eating, he doesn't sleep for three days, he also does squats then tells Watson his back has hurt all day (might be noticeable if you go back in the ep?) (Full Episode)
