The echoing sound of a stranger’s nimble tread on ancient ruins covered in the sands of time, wakes the prohphet from his shallow slumber. With his silhouette engulfed in cold darkness his glowing eyes flicker like icey cold blue flares, conjuring images of a lonesome wanderer traveling through the nightly desert.

The sight elicits the hint of a sinister smirk on his face.

       “Interesting...”

His coarse voice echoes within the darkness around him and with a flick of his fingers he disperses into dark purple fog, scattering and rematerializing in front of the young man that dares to wander the nocturnal sea of sands.

       “Good evening, traveller...”

The prophet had changed his appearance upon rematerializing before him: his glowing marks vanished from his skin and the blue flares were replaced by a pair of bright green eyes, curiously sizing him up.

-————- - - ☾          𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐲 is rather beautiful. it always is. darkness is where he feels most comfortable, most familiar with. born a lunari, you learn to sympathize with the night and eventually become one with it. and so has he believed to have become one with his 𝐝 𝐞 𝐬 𝐭 𝐢 𝐧 𝐲.           leaving his sister’s side but most importantly leaving the lunari’s side is therefor not an easy choice to make. but one he has made a couple of days ago.                 the unknown has become closer to him than the moon’s blessing. so overwhelming but yet such a precious experience. it is strange to leave the temples but they have told him that this was for the sake of learning, 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, as if it wasn’t possible for him to learn at the place he has to protect.           the fights against the solari have become quite limited lately. so maybe actually going outside an seeing the world would turn out to be actually useful for his purpose.           his sister’s voice in his heart, she follows the prophecy she has seen for him. the desert — a place that is ought to inherit strong magic, that even similar to the moon’s blessing, born from darkness just like the lunari. so it almost excites him to follow his sister’s guide to 𝐬 𝐡 𝐮 𝐫 𝐢 𝐦 𝐚. he trusts her abilities as a seer, respects them just as much. and thus he listens to her explanations about this mysterious place called ❛ 𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚 ❜ . a place that is touched by darkness.                  he is dressed accordingly, as he steps through the sands of the night, colder than it was in the day indeed but endurable compared to the cold of the cave he used to practice his skills in. but the more he walks, the quieter the voice of his sister gets until he is left with nothing but silence. even the wind is so quiet the finds himself wonder what kind of place he has come to. the moon’s blessing by his side, he holds onto 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐮𝐦 to feel it’s power course through his body.           (  a p h e l i o s )   would be ready for any attack to come but still this lingering feeling in his bones made him fear this place he did not know and that seems way too quiet to actually be safe.
