STAGNATING CAMPAIGN: Plea to Save Wafaa’s Nieces and Nephews

Hi all, thank you for the support you gave Wafaa (@wafans-blog) immediately following the smear campaign carried out against her which cost her nearly a day worth of campaigning money (as several donors have withdrawn after seeing the posts). The debacle had since then been debunked, but we again see donations back to the same rate as before.

Shaima and Muhammad are Wafaa's sister and brother, and they urgently need to evacuate their children, 10 in total, of which we have already collected the evacuation fees for 4. We need to get the necessary funds for all 10 children before it is too late. Because make no mistake, time IS running out to register for evacuation. Shaima and Muhammad's family evacuation campaign is personally added to the vetted fundraiser spreadsheet as family number 260 by @el-shab-hussein five days ago, so please don't hesitate to share and donate what you can!

Only $105 raised in the past hour. I cannot express how scared I am for Wafaa’s nieces and nephews. Support, it seems, is conditional to consistent tragedy a family must suffer and publicize. Does it really take something truly horrid for people to be convinced of their "worthiness of being saved"? And why do you feel like Palestinians have this burden of proof, and especially why they owe this to you?

Donations have been extremely slow just 12 hours after the scam allegations, and even slower now. Please don't only feel like taking a stand can be isolated to one single moment. Let it be a commitment to hear out a family, to not look away, and to actively speak up for them.
