Galaco’s box design has been uploaded on Vocaloid.com.

I kinda want to print it out and burn a disc with her stuff on so I can put her on my shelf next to my other loids but I we don’t have any empty DVD cases and it’d be weird to buy some just for that haha…

EDIT: To clarify, Galaco doesn’t actually have, and probably will never have a physical release. Yamaha uploaded this for contest winners who want to have her on a DVD, they showed it on the winner announcement stream I believe.

VY2V3 Announce Date and Extra Falsetto Voicebank

VY2V3 has a release date of 10/19 and will cost 9,800 yen with both voicebanks, 17,800 yen if you want the V3 editor. He’s also coming with a falsetto voicebank, something I suggested yesterday (weird). ;w; VY1 better get a falsetto voicebank or I’m going to kill YAMAHA.

Teto's post was entirely a joke post, as I don't review UTAU because I know little about them, and since they're not published by a  corporation, I'm more likely to hurt people's feelings. (then again I do mainly review songs and those are made by people with feelings but ah well they don't read my blog) :c

But if you guys want me to, I guess I'll do it... I don't know, what do you guys think?

I was perusing through bandcamp today to see if there were any free or new Vocaloid albums out besides Circus' P Lucid this year (since I check it so infrequently).  This particular album, Planetary Revolve by Gandana/Ganda7, is all electro/house music about the twelve signs of the Western Zodiac with both V2 and V3 Vocaloids thrown in for good measure.   And despite the, er, armature cover art, it's one of the more lovely albums in the Bandcamp Vocaloid tag to listen to.

I don't usually think cyclopes when I think of the Western Zodiac, but I guess it fits.  Kinda.

While Vocals can be off in some places (Fire Burning For Aries' first few notes seem to be the limits of Miku's Range) or sound a bit compressed (Scorpio wishes), the author usually maintains a decent level of quality with all their Vociebanks.   The songs themselves are pretty solid and varied (I don't feel like I'm listening to the same song over and over), and are usually this nice combination of contemporary piano and digital instruments that never seem to be at odds with each other, making a rather sweet dream-like atmosphere . My personal favorite off this album is Virgo's wishes, preformed by Gumi Whisper Extend.

The Album is name your price, but if you do end up buying it, please try to contribute some money to the author!

dfkshf this is defiantly late but I wanted to make sure people saw because it only has 2,700 views which is small for Eastern Vocaloid standards. :o

Did you know the Vocaloid store is publishing animated shorts of Tianyi & friends?  They’re no more than 3 minutes long at a time, and contain no dialouge, just music, sound effects, and an occasional song sung by Tianyi herself.  It’s basically about Tianyi going to earth to sing and bring peace and love and harmony and hearts and light and all that good stuff, and being found by an ordinary school girl who loves music. 

It has 3 episodes so far, the other two being here and here, so it’s really easy to catch up with. c:
